Casino night at The Phoenix of Braselton with mom! How fun!! Special memories made!
June 2026
I'm not sure where to begin. My mother-in-law, being eighty four at the time was ready to sell her house after many decades. And after many weeks of looking for the right fit, she along with my husband, (her son) found The Phoenix!! Cindy, was wonderful!! Extremely accommodating and made every aspect of the move as a whole easier. Mom.. feel in love with The Phoenix! She had no regrets walking away from her house! The staff, the people, the entirety of the environment stole her heart! Don't misunderstand me there were the typical complaints here and there - such as, wait for it 'the food' by mom. However, my husband and I can both attest upon all our visits, the food was good. I won't mention she (mom) has no sense of smell, and minimal taste..shh!! I simply believe we all have our own way of cooking, remembering how he or she made this or that. So, yesss, I can see where so many of these different facilities have the same comments concerning the food. Butttt, they also don't have Chef Antonio!! How wonderful it was to realize they're actually open to the public too. Check-out: Beau & Belle restaurant!! Ohh, and you can not miss out on Chef Antonio's event nights!! He really knows how to bring it all to the table! And the FOOD.. is WOWING!! Taco Tuesday is mouth-watering!! Another must try is his Thursday morning create your own omelets, once again, AMAZING!! The entire team and staff are the best!! Their genuine eagerness, matched with kindness to get to (personally) know the residents is truly authentic. We couldn't be more pleased. Moreover, confident in choosing The Phoenix as the safe place for mom!! Then there's Brandi! Brandi has been heaven sent!! I don't know HOW SHE DOES IT ALL!! SHE HAS BEEN SIMPLY AMAZING ALL ALONG WAY! There's not just that 'ONE' thing.. we can put our finger on when it comes to her!! Because it's EVERYTHING!! She is constantly and consistently involved. She has been a rock for both my husband and myself as mom's health has taken a turn!! She has truly stepped up going over and beyond our expectations. Actively taking care of things, advising us on next right steps and so much more!! Even sharing tears during difficult times and decisions! Simply PRICELESS!! Brandi, there are NO WORDS!! From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you so much!! Also recognizing a handful her enriching neighbors/residents that made such a difference in mom's experience there too: Jane, Kathy, Caroline, Richard and Tom on the 3rd floor, thank you for making mom apart of your family up there on 'The Puzzle Floor'!! Wishing you all the best!! May God Bless you ALL there at The Phoenix!! We will truly miss you all! Sincerely, Russell and Kim Thompson

Updated review: March 18, 2026 Since mom fell in January and the result was losing the ability to walk, she required a lot more assistance in her assisted living apartment. I want to name employees that worked above and beyond to help her and our family! Brandi Powell is of a high position as the assistant director, but you would never know it! She visited mom, texted me to check on her, dealt with insurance, all with a big smile. Felicia Raughton, the director of all activities, made time to visit mom, text me about her care, and show a genuine compassion for her. Melissa, the staff nurse, helped me when I needed emergency advice and direction, even after hours! She visited mom and gave direction to the med techs and aides to best help mom. I have to shout out my favorite aide. Cecilia (Cici) treated my mom as if it were her mom. She's humble, thoughtful, compassionate, and is not afraid of real work! She's quick to come when called, and can handle residents like a pro.I can't say enough good about the Phoenix at Braselton. I read the negative reviews and since I've had mom there for 3 years, I could truly argue that there was a solution for each one. If you're considering moving a relative here, you better hurry because it's usually full, so you'll have to get on a waiting list. I hope this review helps someone out there! The Phoenix at Braselton a huge blessing to my Mom and to our family! She moved in a year ago, and has all great things to say about it. Literally, no complaints! She attends many activities each week because there is such a variety available. The activities director and all of her assistants are really great, always greeting with a smile and with energy and enthusiasm that is contagious to others. The activities fall in many different categories, so there is lots of variety for each resident's style and preference. Mom has found making friends easy at the Phoenix because she has the opportunity to be around other residents several times each day if she chooses. Mom says the food is great, and she has lots of choices of what to order. When I visit, I find that it's just like being in a nice restaurant! My family and I are in and out often, and have found the staff from each area of the Phoenix to be smiling, friendly, and ready to help and serve at any time. This is from the custodial area, maintenance, dining room servers, the concierge, all the way to the director himself. It is amazing to me how the staff know the residents by name! I have to rave about the atmosphere also, as it is beautifully decorated, with lots of space in all the common areas and hallways, and the cleanliness is like what I see in the best of doctors' offices. With Mom living at the Phoenix, we are at peace knowing that she is happy and her days are filled with great opportunities to live her life to the fullest.

Make new friends and enjoy resort style living at this beautiful community in Braselton.
January 2026
I have been trying to reach someone here, to book a tour for my dad's move, for 3 weeks. Filled out the online request, nothing. Left messages with the automated attendant twice, nothing. Got through to the front desk, she transfered me directly to the VM of the person who handles tours and marketing, no return call. Apparently they dont need new business.
October 2025
As someone who has seen at least 3 separate living communities and up to 3-4 different personal care agencies, I started to believe that finding a decent, honorable senior care place was just doomed to be a pipe dream. Reluctantly, I came into Phoenix as a final try in the search for caring staff that could work together and a management that isnt just a drama-infused click. I waited for the negative things to happen, but to my surprise this facility turned out to be a rare diamond. The hallways arn't riddled with lonely residents crying out for help, the management team is in touch with thier staffs mental/physical wellbeing, the residents are engaged with anything new upcoming and tell thier neighbors about it, the dining staff is attentive and kind, and so much more. If you need a place to give you hope for peace and comfort in your family that you've been tirelessly looking for, this place will restore your faith in humanity and bring back purpose to what are the most precious years of anyones life. ’’

My mother is 87 and is thriving at this facility! After a terrible fall and breaking her hip which left her unable to live alone, this place has been such a BLESSING for her and our family. The Physical Therapy staff is incredible. The staff as a whole has been so kind to her and she absolutley loves living there. She has been there a year and 5 months.
October 2025
My 91 year old mother just moved into a one-bedroom independent living apartment. It’s a lovely, spacious and bright apartment that fits her needs perfectly. The staff at Phoenix of Braselton is absolutely amazing and promote a feeling of family in every aspect. Each and every staff person makes an effort to know the residents’ names and to greet them with affection whenever they see each other. There are numerous activities offered each day so residents can stay active and engaged. Additionally, the current residents have been very welcoming of my mother so she felt a part of the family almost immediately. Even before my mother moved in, the staff was very helpful and so patient with every question we had as we considered this transition for her. They helped guide us through the process and allowed our family to come visit numerous times before we made the decision for her to move there. I cannot say enough good things about Phoenix and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality senior living facility!!!
October 2025
What an amazing place it was for my mom!! She lived in all three areas and the care was top notch!! The staff in all areas treated mom the way i would treat her!!! If I ever need this kind of living community as I age, that’s where I would want to be !!
August 2025
In our attempts to move my parents to GA, we toured and visited the Phoenix several times. Cindy and staff are amazing. The facility is not only beautiful and clean but the dining was yummy with great wait staff. We have visited several places during our search, but the Phoenix is our pick!
July 2025
Beautiful Community! Brandi and Cindy did a fantastic job showing me around and answering all my questions for my clients in need of Senior Living. I feel confident in sending my family to The Phoenix.
May 2025
My father, who just passed away, was a resident at the Phoenix of Braselton and I just wanted to say how much the entire family appreciates everything they did for him to make it a very pleasurable place to live. He called it home and he meant it. The staff (med tech’’s to caregivers; event staff to dining room workers, receptionists to Management) were all professional, pleasant and truly cared for everyone they took care of. They all took pride and pleasure in performing what can be at times a very difficult job. While there are too many people to thank by name (and I’m sure I would forget some), please take this review as a HUGE THANK YOU to all for your passion and love for my father and for the family. We consider ourselves lucky to have found the Phoenix of Braselton. The Phoenix was able to seamlessly handle and adjust to dad’s ever changing care needs. They provided comfort for the family that he was always well taken care of. For that we will always be thankful. Absolutely first rate place for elderly care and the staff is simply the best!

We’ve been very pleased with everything at The Phoenix at Braselton! The staff is so kind and Dad loves his apartment and the activities he can participate in. The building and grounds are beautiful and well kept. Highly recommend for the senior in your life!
March 2025
I have visited The Phoenix at Braselton numerous times, either visiting residents or volunteering my time. It is a beautiful facility as well as an inviting one. There are so many activities for the residents to enjoy. I have been there for seasonal and holiday celebrations, concerts, bake sales, craft shows, cooking demos, and more. There are also many opportunities to go out shopping, to plays or movies, and other activities. There are always residents walking around the grounds and socializing in the common areas. The rooms are lovely. They look like vacation villas. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for senior living at any level of care.
March 2025
The 1st impression is, "Wow, such a beautiful place". Then, you come to realize that it's beautiful in every way. The love from the staff to the residents is to be admired.
March 2025
I came to The Phoenix July 2021. It was my decision! I made friends easily and we enjoy socializing at dinner. We have many activities. There is entertainment weekly and a full bar. In April we will be having another cruise week. This is 4 days of going to different places and our wonderful chef has food to match where we are. Our dining rooms are decorated beautifully, feels like we are really on a cruise boat. I love calling The Phoenix my home. Mary Lynn Purcell

This facility is beautiful and is like a small city with all of the amenities needed for quality senior living. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and ready to assist with residents needs.
January 2025
My mother-in-law was at this facility for a year. I also volunteer there. She started in independent living and had to eventually go to assisted-living.I’ve never seen a place so caring and loving with the residents. The activities are directed To the specific needs of those that live there. It’s like living in a five-star hotel. I’m ready to pick out my future room. It’s no wonder there’s always a waitlist to get in here. I couldn’t have found a better place to put mom before she eventually passed away.

Almost two years ago my mom had some medical problems finding it necessary to move her from Florida to Georgia to be closer to me. There was an initial adjustment, but she is so happy and has made so many best friends. There are tons of activities and something for everyone. All the staff are truly caring and the residents smiling faces say it all. I highly recommend The Phoenix at Braselton for you or your loved one.unequivocally!!

We stopped in last week to visit family and had such a great experience! The bartender Jeremy was so personable and made sure we were well taken care of. My grandmother had nothing but good things to say about the facility and the staff. She said Jeremy is one of her favorites and never fails to brighten her day. I love knowing that she’s happy and feels safe at Phoenix.

March 2024
When I decided to move from North Carolina to this area, I visited about twenty senior living facilities. All are different. When Phoenix announced their opening, I visited and found the place for me. I moved in three months after the opening, so I have been here approximately three years. The apartment floorplan is perfect for me, especially the spacious deck. More activities are offered than I can accommodate, and the staff is friendly and professional. I feel very safe here, my needs are being met, and I am glad to call the Phoenix at Braselton home.
March 2024
The Phoenix at Braselton is very personable, which is very important to me. The food is very good. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and the Facility is alway clean. The activities are accommodating to those who participate. There are a lot of things to do, if you choose to do them

My parents are residents at the Phoenix and I could not be more pleased with this facility. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The amenities are awesome, with something to do for everyone! I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a wonderful, safe place to spend the later years of life.. I could not be happier for my parents and the decision we made to move them here!
March 2024
I was conflicted with letting my mother live somewhere beside with family. Family First she taught me. I eventually brought my mother down here from Michigan. There was an adjustment period(which I learned was normal) but after a few months she has flourished within this amazing community of residents and staff. I have to say after experiencing this with both grandparents, The Pheonix of Brasselton has been an amazing surprise. The facility is clean and updated constantly, the amenities (hair salon, multiple restaurants/bars, and exercise/physical therapy room . There are constant activities and day trips. Not to mention the out door facilities. My mother could not be any happier which makes me happy. The staff at all levels are the same. Nice, friendly, and supportive.
January 2024
This community is nothing but professional and caring. The management and staff are always so polite and helpful. They are caring to all residents and families. I would highly recommend The Phoenix at Braselton to everyone.
January 2024
My mom resided at Phoenx for almost 3 years until she passed away. The friends she made and the activities she became involved in were wonderful and she really enjoyed herself. From weekly Bible study to songs of faith, happy hour entertainment every Friday and games of Rummikub in between mom stayed busy. We had great experiences with the activities folks as well as care staff and med techs. The only part of this review that might be 4 star is the food service (although I think they're working on that part). All said would I do it all over again for mom, absolutely!
November 2023
August 2023
My in-laws live here and the facility is lovely. The staff are attentive and kind. The Activity personnel do a great job in keeping residents busy and having fun.
August 2023
Would highly recommend The Phoenix at Brasslton to anyone who is looking for a community for their loved one. My grandparents live here and they have loved every aspect of the community. There are lots of wonderful activities for them to do every day, I’ve heard the food is great, and the apartments they live in are beautiful! I’ve met some of the staff and they are all very kind and caring people. I feel like my grandparents are in wonderful hands and are very happy where they are at. Couldn’t recommend more!
July 2023
Save your money and look elsewhere. This place is unprofessional and do not care about your love ones even the staff turnover rate is ridiculous from management down to regular employees.
September 2022
Everything we need is here, which includes housekeeping and our meals as well as an in-house salon, exercise facility, physical therapy, heated pool, outdoor activity areas etc. There's also a fully licensed Pub in-house. Shops, restaurants, grocery, gas stations, Doctors, hospital, churches, are all close by. The option to adjust our residency to other care levels, such as moving from independent living to assisted living or memory care while staying at the same address is attractive. We like it here and feel fortunate that Phoenix found us.

I moved to Phoenix at Braselton when they opened in October, 2020. I love living at the community because it has so much to offer. I enjoy activities, especially the Bible study, crocheting, and diamond dotz, The staff is always very kind and very helpful.
February 2022
My name is Linda Reuter. I have been here since Braselton’s opening in October. It is a beautiful facility, with all the accommodations of home. The residents and staff are wonderful. Phoenix is facing the same problems of the Covid and Covid induced shortages that are faced everywhere. However, the facility makes reasonable decisions under the circumstances.
February 2022
My wife and I are enjoying living at the Phoenix at Braselton, since moving here in June 2021. We enjoy the activities and the dinning. We realize Phoenix being a new community, there will be growing pains. However, the management team are always open to suggestions. The staff are very friendly and always eager to help.
