As a hospice provider, I am in this community at least weekly. You can always tell quality of care by how the residents interact when you walk into a community. The residents at the Phoenix of lake Lanier are always smiling, busy with activities or social outings, and just generally joyful! Ashley makes sure that everyone from residents, to families, 3rd party providers, and staff, have a positive experience every day! She wears many hats but strives for excellence in all she does! The Pearl community (memory care) is also vibrant and active. Many memory care communities are forgotten, but not this one! There’s always something engaging for the residents going on, and the staff knows each one personally and are incredibly attentive to their needs. I love spending time with all of the residents during activities and events, and the staff always greets me with a smile! The building is beautiful and well kept, and there are so many amenities! I would feel 100% confident in bringing a loved one here!

I am so glad to have my parents out of here! It is so poorly managed. While there are some great people like Aaron and Molly, the management is terrible. The food is awful! The residents are regularly served high sodium, canned vegetables, and high carb meals. My mom ordered a BLT sandwich and as served a BL sandwich on white bread with nothing else on it. This was very typical. My Dad was taken to the hospital and I was not called . The reason given was that they did not provide care for my parents. We have moved to a new facility that is fabulous at less the cost. Beware of this place!

I had a friend whose mother lives there and the care and staff are delightful, the front desk concierge is very welcoming. The building is very nice could use some outside cleaning. THE NEW MANAGEMENT that my friend has had to deal with is horrible! The new DIRECTOR which they constantly recycle through is very disrespectful and has a very bad attitude she’s not welcoming at all. The attitude she gave my friend about her mother was not professional. She looks at her staff as if she’s on a pedestal and those ladies I meet are everything you could ask for when it comes to care. This building needs someone who is compassionate and understanding all around NOT JUST FOR BUSINESS.

We have had two parents and a dear friend at Phoenix and if you can afford private care in conjunction with staff, that is the only way I would recommend this facility. Care from a hygiene perspective is less than acceptable, especially in memory care. It appears that there must be an issue internally because there has been a large continual turnover in management over the past several years.

There is a Medtech/caregiver by the name of Angela L who is highly disrespectful, one day while visiting she undermined my conversation with one of the other care aids when I asked the caregiver was she the supervisor she said no she is always rude and starting trouble with them, having her around will bring your business straight to the ground. Other then that all the other staff is wonderful and pleasant, I am a frequent visitor of a friend of the family who loves it there.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place, the residents, and the staff! We could not have been happier at The Phoenix at Lake Lanier. The facility is beautiful, and the staff so friendly and caring. It all starts at the top with Katrina, and trickles down through the staff.......so many wonderful caregivers that have now become like family. The Phoenix at Lake Lanier is a very beautiful Community with great views of the lake. I came in this weekend to visit with one of my church members and everyone was kind, appeared happy and greeted me with a friendly smile. It was the weekend so I was not expecting to see anyone from management but the Excutive Director, Ms. Katrina was there. She was walking around and interacting with the residents and even sat to chat with us for a few moments. You can feel her compassion and can tell that she really cares for the geriatric population. There were activities taking place, which again was impressive because it was the weekend. Ellen was energetic and very engaging with the residents. My visit was cut short because my church member was excited to join in the activity and play a game of Dirty Dogs! Keep up the good work Katrina and Team. It's important for our seniors to have purpose and good people that genuinely care.

This is a beautiful community. My family and I completed a tour with Heather during the tour she introduced us to Lakita Who offered for us a table to have lunch. We also met with the executive director Katrina. She took out the time to give me extra details and introduce us to the board of directors of their community, These ladies were sassy!!! Seem like something my Mother would definitely want to join. The people were very friendly and it seemed like they really cared for the people. They are definitely my top pick and we hope to move in very soon.

Very beautiful community. I had lunch while visiting a family friend it was fried chicken Wednesday and it was great. The Food and beverage director was out in the dining area with all the residents and the Executive Director I believe her name was Katrina was having lunch with some of the residents. Everyone seem to be enjoying their lunch and my friend said he was very happy and pleased with this place. Thanks to everyone for all that they do.

There are many caring individuals there, and the environment is nice and peaceful and on the lake. The facilities are nice enough. Once the money was paid and our loved one moved in, the food quality decreased and staffing issues Increased. The Food services director is wonderful, however, I believe much of it may have had to do with budgeting. Subsequently, the number of fluctuations in the organization itself, and the difficulty in communicating and getting information , issues with reaching people onsite, and other circumstances we had during our loved ones almost six months in residence resulted in an unwanted move to another community. I would be happy to share my experience privately with anyone who is interested.

This place is first class all the way. If you care about how your parents are treated and the quality of their environment then you should definitely give this facility a look. Good food, quality facility and caring staff. Plus they have a great dock so if your a lake Lanier boater you can visit from the water.
