I was admitted to Parkside nursing/rehab Ellijay for a torn tendon from my hip. The nursing/ and all of the ada's were so efficient and helped any way they could for my comfort and always had a smile on their face. Karen and Janet were mostly at the top of the list although I don't remember names mostly faces. Brandi was very helpful also along with the therapists PT and OT. Everyone was awesome. Thank you!!!

I just spent a month at Parkside Rehabilitation with a fractured pelvis. I had never spent that long in a hospital or a facility for rehabilitation. Parkside was an excellent choice by my family. The employees there were friendly and went out of their way to make an unpleasant experience tolerable. The physical therapist there were amazing, while the nurses and the nurse assistants were so helpful making my stay there much better than I expected. The place was extremely clean too. I would recommend Parkside to anyone needing their service's. Marilyn Shosey

While we have had some not as great experiences here, I can say that in spite of those situations, there are also some really great people who work here. One of those is Lori M., a CNA. She is such a caring person. She has been so good to my mom. She goes the extra mile and my mom is comforted whenever she sees her. We appreciate that very much.

I have been here for 45 days as a patient and believe that parkside ellijy is a first class facility. The staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I would like to point out how much I enjoyed 2 of the staff in particular each of whom made my stay here wonderful : Cynthia Burger and Crystal Shubin I looked forward to interacting with them each day and I know they each went the extra mile to help me and cheerfully take care of my needs. Having been in Parkside two different times, I feel I can judge the changes. Great improvements have been made in almost every area . The staff seems to be much more professional and responsive. The quality of food has improved greatly. The facility is clean and well maintained. In all it is a great place for rehab. I would be remiss if i didnt mention someone who stood above all others as far as dedication and professionalism to their job. That person is Cynthia Burger who is a asset to the facility.

Lori Minatree is honestly the best, most caring CNA at Parkside. She has gone above and beyond for the patients in her care on a daily basis. Her kind and friendly demeanor does not go unnoticed. Parkside is lucky to have Lori caring for their residents.

They took fantastic care of my wife there while she recovered from a massive infection and surgery. And my wife can be a pickle. They made sure she had her medications and all of her appointments were met. Wound care was phenomenal. All of the CNAs made sure she wanted for nothing. Her room was kept very sanitary and was actually very nice. I'm VERY please with the level of care they provided. Again, thank you very much. And a special thanks to Lori M., Nurse Kerri, Nurse Karen and Crystal!

Dr Odom and Ken are both outstanding employees and go above and beyond with questions and answers.In addition they have a nurse, Lori M, who goes way beyond. You never really have to ask for anything she just automatically sees something and takes care of it. Parkside is lucky to have her as an employee.

My mom received wonderful care at Parkside. In total, she spent almost two months there (two separate stays). We heard horror stories about other facilities, so I was full of anxiety as we navigated the transition from hospital to rehab. I felt relief within minutes of visiting Parkside for the first time. The inside of the facility is clean and nicely decorated. The staff here is amazing, and I could go on and on about several individuals who made my mom's stay more comfortable. The first time I met Lori M, she was so warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I were comfortable. I was so touched and impressed by her care and compassion- she is the type of person you would hope is caring for your loved one at a facility like this. Kerry was also so sweet and patient, and was willing to take the time to sit down with me and go over my mom's list of medications, one by one, when she came back for her second stay. I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Hardy when my mom returned to Parkside, and was completely blown away by his bedside manner. He was so patient and compassionate, and we felt like he was genuinely invested in my mom's well-being. I observed a few OT/PT sessions, and all of the therapists were wonderful. Clearly, I was very pleased with Parkside and I am so thankful we found this facility to help us through what was a very difficult time for our family.

Parkside has been a positive experience for my family. The entire floor staff and conceriege folks have been excellent and take time to give him as well as all other residents individual attention. He seems content, smiles often and enjoys the interactions.
