The training of new caregivers staff is thorough and excellent. The coordination from the chain of command is great since residents are always centered care of entire management and all applies to different department within Aspen village.

The Culinary Department has a great group of people that work extremely well together and who really works hard to ensure the happiness in each resident. The New Culinary Director, Chef Kevin Dash, in the Culinary department has made drastic changes for the better. With his help he has changed a lot to make things easier and organized, food tastes great and Looks so appealing. With every meal having all the different food groups and a ALL DAY MENU which means if you do not like whatever is on the menu you can choose from all sorts of different food choices plus homemade desert at each lunch and dinner meal as well. He has improved the way that the serving staff can better serve the residents in a more elegant dinning establishment. Breakfast is always my favorite because you can choose whichever egg you like from cheese omelette, over medium, over easy, fried eggs, scrambled, boiled not too mention the oatmeal, grits, french toast, pancakes, biscuit/gravy, bacon,pork sausage, turkey sausage, and I honestly could keep going, but I would be here for a long time. You actually get interacting cooks as well. They come out asking you how your day is going so far and if there is anything else they could get you. I mean I honestly can't be more excited for the way this facility has made changes that's improving the way those residents are cared for and acknowledged. The general manager, Dorothy, always shows her face to not only the staff, but the residents reassuring them that she is there if she is ever needed. She is not scared to work side by side with her staff to ensure that the residents get what is needed at any time of the day. I am grateful to be a part of such a well maintained and fine establishment. I give Aspen Village Retirement Home,,⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5 stars. ..great job, to all employees that go over and beyond each and everyday and to all the management team for all your hard work in maintaining such a highly respected establishment and hiring people that want the best for each resident .

One of the most important decisions you can make is with a family member! Making the right choice for them is our responsibility and one I don’t take lightly. My Mom is a precious soul and she needs people who care for her well-being and make sure she gets to her meals. The staff does a wonderful job of making sure of both. I know if I ever had any questions or concerns, they would be addressed. I also love the friendly reminders when Mom needs something in her personal care or if there is an event. Her room is so perfect for her with a large private bathroom and a refrigerator! If you have someone who needs respite care or assistance in daily living, you would be wise to tour and consider Aspen!

This facility has been the best decision that I had to make in a short period of time to place my mother after her acute illness. My mother is well cared for as well as her meeting new friends. The staff is fantastic to my mother. I would recommend The Lodge at Aspen Village for your loves.

My sister moved into Aspen Lodge in December. She had been in a nursing home due to a fall, and we needed to place her somewhere quickly, rather than sending her back to her apartment alone. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that Aspen Village was in our price range. The facility is lovely, the staff are kind and helpful, and the food is good. My sister is thriving here! She has her own bedroom and bathroom in a suite she shared with another resident. She hardly spends any time in it though, because she thoroughly enjoys the other residents and all the activities. She is healthier - both physically and emotionally - than she has been in years, and I couldnt be more pleased!

By far, the best assisted living facility that Ive ever visited! The staff was friendly, the grounds were maintained perfectly, and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. My family is pleased with this Aspen Village for our father.

This place feels more like home than most other senior living homes I have seen. You kind of feel like you are in a ski lodge. Very cozy and everyone seemed happy. I think they were having an Italian dish for dinner and it smelled really good.

Mr. MacArthur has everything so organized, food taste great with every meal having 2 hot food choices plus homemade desert as well as having improved the way that serving staff can better serve the residents in a more stressfree environment. The general manager, Dorothy, always shows her face to not only the staff, but the residents reassuring them that she is there if she is ever needed. She is not scared to work side by side with her staff to ensure that residents get what is needed at anytime of the day. I am grateful to be apart of such a well maintained establishment. I give Aspen 5 stars. ..great job, Mrs. Dorothy, for all your hardwork in maintaining such a highly respected establishment.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome that my aunt received upon admission 2 weeks ago! The new management team has certainly implemented a strong plan to overcome prior mishaps. Staff seem happy and it shows in their interactions with the residents.

Upon touring the facility, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff. My mother initially started the adult daycare, which we both loved. Mom had a stroke in March resulting in her having to go to a rehab facility. After the stay at the rehab, she returned to Aspen Village as a full time resident. Everyone fell in love with my mother as did she fall in love with them. They treated us like we were family. Unfortunately, she recently passed away. All the staff embraced us like it was their immediate family. I have never received the care and love that was displayed through this facility. I really appreciate the care my mom received and the treatment that was extended to my family at a time that was most needed. I highly recommend this facility.

Recently placed elderly parent at this facility. The staff seems nice, building is clean , food is acceptable . The monthly cost is high ( $3000 range). Our families complaint is that owners recently changed policy and all new residents have to pay for their own cable TV Service. Existing residents were allowed to keep their free cable. For the rate that is charged a basic cable should the provided for all residents equally.

I cannot begin to express how the staff at Aspen Village has made me feel regarding my mother residing there. The care giving team is exactly that - a "TEAM". They work together to make sure everyone is comfortable and if not, their priority is to make it happen. My mother (who turned 90 in March), was going to the Adult Daycare at Aspen 3 days per week, for over a year and loved it. She got sick shortly after her birthday and had to be hospitalized for 6 days and was sent to a rehab center. Upon hearing of her rehabilitation, 2 of the staff members went to visit her, took a card from some of the ladies my mother dined with and a bouquet of purple and white lilies. Talk about tears flowing! To know my mother was cared about that much is truly heartwarming. This is truly a place that cares about their residents and their families. Thank you ALL for your astounding work. May God reward you for the compassion you exhibit.

We visited this friendly community and it was a very nice experience. Gerald, marketing manager took us for a nice tour around it and we saw the future memory care unit and we really liked it. It is going to be very spacious and surrounded by green areas. Nice staff, providing a loving care to the residents. We have to mention Jessica, General Manager very accommodating to our needs for my mother. Thanks to all.

I visited several assisted living facilities before selecting Aspen Village for my mother. Some cost less and some more. However, from the time I enter Aspen Village I could see the difference. The staff is super friendly and attentive to residents. You can find fancier places but in my experience you won't find better care. I find it to be very clean and the food is excellent, I have eaten there. My mother has had to transfer to memory care and Aspen took care of everything to move her from assisted living to memory care, I didn't have to do anything. I feel she is receiving excellent care. I have dropped in at many different times and have always found professional and friendly staff every time. If I were to need assisted living I could move there.

My Mom has been at Aspen Village for about 3 years now. She loves it and so do I. It is clean and the staff really cares. It is her home and they care for her like family. The very few minor issues I have had to discuss with management have been met with an eagerness to make it right and have been remedied immediately.
