A lovely place, clean, attractive and full of wonderful amenities. The staff was fabulous, kind, gracious and welcoming. We were patiently given a tour, told and shown our options and offered help in assessing our needs. We had lunch there and the food, served from 7 am - 7 pm was excellent.

This property is beautiful with a huge courtyard in the middle of the campus. The two bedroom apartments have ample space with a walk-in closet, large bathroom and nice size kitchen. However, my favorite are the two balconies! Finally, the staff and residents are so friendly. It says a lot about the center leadership.

My mother has been at the retreat for close to 5 years. She is currently living in the independent building. Her apartment is cozy and she has adapted very well after leaving her home for many years after living independently. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and how they make her feel loved and welcomed. The staff takes very good care of the residents. There is an abundance of activities and my sister and I can hang out with her anytime in the beautiful well decorated common area. We especially enjoy going with her to happy hour on Wednesday and Friday. Live music on Friday and a wonderful DJ on Wednesday. The staff usually serves snacks and dance with the residents. We love all the residents and feel we are family there. We like the convenience of the salon and she enjoys getting her hair done there. The meals they serve are really good and reasonable. We love the kitchen staff and they take very good care of the residents. We are so glad our mother chose the Retreat. Fun is had by all at the Retreat!

I visited the Retreat at Conyers after my aunt moved in to the independent Living setting. My experience was amazing. The campus is beautiful, the food is great( I had lunch at the Belle Restaurant). I met the Management Staff at happy hour and they were all very friendly and interacted with the tenants and families. They answered all if my questions( i was very inquisitive) and they were patient and kind. We are thrilled with the service and all that our aunt is receiving at the Retreat. You won’t be disappointed

I’ve had such a positive experience with this senior living community. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and genuine care that the staff and residents share. The staff makes you feel at home, from the lovely housekeeper with the huge smile to the server with the colored hair that smiles and jokes with those who live there. You can tell that hiring the right people is important here. The dining experience is exceptional as well. The food is consistently delicious, well prepared, and thoughtfully presented. It’s clear that the culinary team takes pride in offering meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable. Mealtimes here feel like a highlight of the day rather than just a routine. I toured the Retreat looking for a place for my father. My experience was informative and enlightening. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and personable. I talked to current tenants and they all gave glowing feedback on their experience and living situation. The Management staff was professional and gave me good advice on my dad’s living arrangements. The food was very good. My dad was able to meet the chef. The care staff were extremely nice including the cleaning staff and landscapers. I was overly impressed and I am now sending information about the Retreat to my in-laws in Texas.

They have been caring, professional, and sensitive to every question and concern we raise. The facility is inviting, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the amenities ( including dining, organized activities, and support capabilities) are impressive. Everything we have experienced at The Retreat is first class!

The food there isn't satisfactory for my aging parents. Too many sandwiches instead of hot fulfilling meals. There are days, no food is delivered. I was there on Wed 3/27/24, my parents lunch was overlooked. I made a call, it was brought up, short of some of the food prepared.

I am very unhappy with the Retreat at Conyers. First, we were unaware of a covid outbreak, which our parents contracted, We did, as well from visiting them prior to them not having it, but their neighbors had it, two people on their hall. Second, for the amount of money we pay for services, they are limited. The few times we had meals delivered,during the covid outbreak, which again we were never notified about, no eating utensils were included in the delivery fee. We have purchased cutlery since but seriously, if meals are delivered, at a price, plastic cutlery should be included. We are aware that it is not the staffs fault, we put the blame entirely on the owners of the property. Property "management" I guess is who we are unhappy with.

My cousin is in the memory care hall. I have been a personal care nurse, with clients in Assited Living facilities for over 25 years. In all that time I have witnessed those entrusted to care for those who cannot do everything for themselves. Some have been the most horrible caregivers and others the most loving ,caring and patient. I can honestly say EVERONE here at the Retreat that I have come in contact with has been so, so compassionate, co caring for the well-being of everyone. I can see God's hand working through these precious employees. The food is good always and delicious.. on other The kitchen staff will work with the families to ensure their loved ones are eating well. I cannot give any higher rating than to say our family would never remove our beloved cousin from The Retreat of Conyers.

The facility is beautiful and clean. The staff is so friendly and always happy and smiling.. I feel if the staff is happy, they will have a good experience daily with our family. I was in need of guidance of how to best help my 92 year old mother since she had gotten to where she needed more help than I could give her. I called The Retreat at Conyers, and Leslie was so helpful in teaching me what my options were and how to proceed and what type of living situation would be best for my mom. I shared with Leslie she should teach classes on how to be prepared when your parents are at the time in their lives where you need help with them that you cannot provide at home any longer.

The Retreat is a wonderful facility, we knew our parents would feel right at home here. The staff is friendly and compassionate which was a big motivator for us. They take great care of their residents and are always doing something with them to keep them active. I love to hear about my parents field trips. I am the only child of aging parents that live 4 hours away in West Central Alabama. The time has come for my parents to relocate so that we could be closer for support and piece of mind. Needless to say that I had never done anything like this so I didn’t know where to beginso I just started calling around and visiting places. When I visited The Retreat, I knew that this was where I wanted my parents. We were totally impressed with the property, staff, programs and location. My 23 year old daughter even made the statement, I would like to live there! Still not knowing what to do next, I was put at ease by the Representative that I am dealing with there, Leslie Piper! She has been so supportive and helpful during this process! Simply putshe is the best! I highly recommend The Retreat at Conyers.

My mom and I have been at the Retreat at Conyers for almost 2 years now. The staff is warm, friendly and caring and has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable here and to ensure our safety and well-being. My mother was a resident At The Retreat at Conyers for about 6 yrs she fought Lewy Body Dementia she lost her battle on 2/25/20 She got very good care at first .2019 things changed i think because they were short staffed the quality of the food was not as good as before . some of my mothers jewelry went missing before she died she was bedridden could not walk or speak plainly Someone stole her ring right off her finger a helpless 85 yr old women i would think twice before i would use the retreat at conyers $4400.00 is alot of money per month for the little care they recieve
