It is so truly hard to put a parent into assisted living, especially for Alzheimers. My mom is not an easy one to take care of. I know this. But I want to give kudos and praise to the Landings of Columbus. First of all the place is clean, and taken care of! and so pretty. The staff..... how they all can be so kind EVERY time I go in there? I know we all have bad days, but you can't tell on them. they are always so helpful and they go out of their way on everything. The activities they have for every one every day?! all I can say is wow! The cooks are phenomenal. my mom is eating again! The staff, that takes care of her on a daily basis, i will never be able to say thank you enough and them truly know the extent of what they do for us. we had our very first holiday dinner there most recently. those are very hard times. but i really enjoyed every moment and the food. it was fun and not sad at all thank you to all of the staff! Mrs. Tracey and Mrs Chantel, they are in one word AWESOMENESS! Mrs Tracey the director, there is no one better for that job!She is very understanding, caring and huggable, resourceful and well my God sent Angel! Mrs. Chantel, words can't express. She gets my mom and she truly knows my mom and cares about her! they not only help my mom but they both help me more than they will ever know. In short this is the place, if you have to do it, it's safe, clean and they truly care about the people there and the families. I love them so much for helping me with my mom.

We moved our mother from Brookdale to The Landings. From the minute we met Tracy we knew this was right. We looked at several other options and what stood out to us was this...every associate smiled and greeted us. They introduced themselves and without exception every associate was with a Resident, hands on. The staff was genuinely happy and it showed. The Residents were happy. Smell...only nice smells of good food! My only regret is that we didn't find Tracy first! She cares about the Residents and Staff and that is evident every time we visit and that is a lot!

My Mom is currently at this facility. I had to move her from another facility in Columbus because she wasn't getting the proper care. At the Landings of Columbus she is striving. She gets the care she needs. Will a facility ever do things the way I would? No! However, they come close. They listen to me and what I need for my Mom. The place is clean and staff is great. I recommend the Landings of Columbus.

We recently moved my grandmother into this community. We were so pleasantly surprised by Tracy and her staff that it made the transition a much easier decision. We feel at ease knowing our grandmother is being taken care of by people who truly care about her and the other residents. The staff have all been wonderful and it is such a nice change of pace from the community we moved her from. If you were on the fence I would recommend this community to anyone needing help for an aging family member.

All I can say is that Tracy Carr and her staff was a God send for my Mom. My Mother was treated with dignity, grace, empathy, compassion and most of all love from the first day she came through those doors till the day she passed. They care about us too..the family. I'm so grateful we had them. Making a decision to place a loved one in memory care is hard but unfortunately necessary at times. Your loved one will be in the best hands at The Landings of Columbus. I cannot thank each and everyone of them enough for all they did to care for my Sweet Mama.

My mother was here until recent when she past on. They take care of family like family hell they take care of them better then we do our own family's. They work with you, keep you updated I can not say enough. Now my mom had been at two other places one that broke her shoulder and one that tried to make her a zombie with drugs. They have always gone above and beyond. I will miss them as I miss my mother.

We would love you to come and see for yourself how the building and atmosphere has changed since Tracy Carr has been our E.D. We are a team but more importantly we are like a family.Our Maintenane Director has been working hard and giving the building the TLC it has needed. Our Activities Director is always looking for new and exciting things to do. Our dietary department works hard to ensure our residents are full and happy throughout the day. Our STATE certified medication aides are hard working and knowledgeable. Some have been caring for our residents for years.

Each room is tidy, the menu is very tasty, there is always entertainment for them...the staff is very professional and dedicated to the care of each resident and above all with love and empathy...If you want and love your loved one, the landing of Columbus is the best place for them...Mrs. Tracy (Executive Director) is very committed and friendly and will always help you with your needs..it is the best place, I assure you and I guarantee it.............. The landing of Columbus is a place of oasis of peace, empathy and with a high commitment to taking care of the dignity of each of the residents!!..it is a very welcoming place..all the CNAs are certified as well as the med tech ..if they were not certified they would not be working in that place... Mrs. Tracy Carr is very careful and makes sure that all her staff is trained and certified by the state... Mrs. Tracy Carr has created an environment of comfort and peace for all the residents she is very responsible...she is truly a director who cares about her residents and works hand in hand with the staff to do what is best for the residents...She is not one to sit in a chair all day inside from the office, she moves with the staff...just come and visit landing of Columbus she assured you that you will like it for your loved one...she will help you with everything...the food is a spectacle of flavor and variety...the Activities are endless...the place is super clean...many times we find bad comments here but I could imagine that they are from people who were fired for not doing their job and they download them here...Just come and visit and see for yourself... It is where your loved one will be best...the landing of Columbus is the perfect place for your loved one with extraordinary care and above all respecting dignity and giving love and empathy...I love this place...

First, I love the location. The Landings is located in a very quiet and serene area with nature as it's neighbor. My mom was treated with excellent and loving care by the entire staff. I want to express my sincere gratitude for nurses Ashley and Dorca. They showered my mother with so much loving care that it left a profound impression on me and my family. Thank you to Director Tracy, Angela, Lisa, Monica and the rest of the amazing staff at The Landing. Highly recommend.

My father in law was on memory unit. They do nothing with the patients. They house them and it's not a safe environment. It the day time hour they have multiple stage but on afternoon and evening it is one staff person. If the are in a pt room, no one is available or watching on the unit. They pull from assisted living to help if needed, maybe. They make big money and don't private the care they should. I will also say the working staff was very caring and did the best they could. Theses issues were admin. Problems.

i HAVE VISITED MY GRAND MOTHER AT THE LANDINGS MANY TIMES AND SHE IS VERY HAPPY , FAMILY WOULD NOT THINK ABOUT MOVING HER . MY GRANDMOTHER HAS BEEN THERE FOR TWO YEARS AND IS DOING BETTER AT THE LANDINGS THAN THE LAST PLACE WE HAD HER. ANOTHER THING I HAVE EATEN THERE AND THE FOOD IS GRATE. THANK YOU THE LANDINGS . YOU GET 10 STARS FROM ME . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.!!!!!!

Yesterday I set up as a vendor at The Landings for their Mini Health Fair & Bazaar. This was an event that was put on for the residents and their family members to learn about services available to them, have access to health and wellness products, and also get in a little Christmas Shopping. I learned about this event from the sales director, Bobbi Mosley. I have to say I am nothing short of impressed by this location, the staff, and the atmosphere for the residents. I noticed new upgrades within the common area. I witnessed how well residents were treated by the staff, and I was given such a warm reception from everyone that passed my table! I would definitely recommend any potential vendors servicing the wants or needs of seniors to reach out to Ms. Bobbi to ask about ways to be involved with the community, and I would highly recommend individuals and families looking for an assisted living to go tour the facility. I visited a friend in the facility the staff was very friendly atmosphere pleasant and the facility and his quarters were clean. My friend is enjoying his new home with round the clock assistance and people who he believes care to make him feel at home....in his new home..

My mother is in the Memory Care Unit, she has Alzheimer's. The staff is so patient with her. She needs help using the bathroom but does not know why, this is where patience comes in. The food has been great each time I have eaten with her. The only problem I have is with the Memory Care Common area - they need more comfortable seating for the residents and a few benches along the hall to the rooms would be nice for those that tire after a few steps but want to walk. I hope they pay the staff in Memory Care really well because that is a job I could not do and the ladies there do a great job as far as I'm concerned and I want them to stay.

Awesome Care: My father recently moved into the Manor House and our family is very pleased with the wonderful care he is receiving. The staff is very friendly and management is highly visible and accessible . We are most impressed with how the medical staff has supported us with his medical and diet needsl He is blind and the level of care provided for him is beyond our expectations. The Manor House is a great place for dad! He tells his friends that he is getting great care and our family agrees!
