Cameron Hall is going through a lot of changes and a lot of staff changes. It got bought out by Terra Bella. I am praying the great changes is coming sooner than later. I wanted to talk about this man. Vitto is an angel sent down from Heaven. He is the "Activity Director". That was not his first position there. He got moved up and he definitely is a perfect person for this job. Vitto is amazing with all the elderly residents. The memory care individuals follow him around like he is a Pied Piper. They line up and follow him for walks outside. If he bends down to smell a flower, you see them line up and they all bend over to smell the flower. This is carefully thought out. It keeps them mobile. He plays the cutest games with them. They use a pool noodle and they take swings at him. He dodges them and they all laugh through this. Again, finding ways to keep them moving. He has singing days. He picks songs from their era and he has them to sing. His voice is beautiful. Now on to the other residents. They play bingo, trivia and have special guest to come in with animals, singing guest, etc. They have ice cream socials. They win bingo dollar bills to buy from their small shop. Cookies, crackers, etc. They are always laughing. My mother loves him and so do I. He will go to my moms apartment and get her if she is not at the social. Yes, she follows him also. He is one of the best staff members there. There is plenty of people I love there but Vitto stands out.

We met and took a tour with Greg recently. We were a few minutes early and were greeted warmly by Jackie who told us about her love of the residents, families, staff, and the community. While we were chatting one of the residents walked by and said, I love it here! Look around and you won’t find any other place better. Needless to say, we were quite impressed and really enjoyed our time. Each one of the staff members was polite, courteous, and friendly. We were greeted with smiles all around. We loved the quiet, peaceful, and serene wooded area while being so close to all of the conveniences. Seems like a wonderful and caring group!

Placing a loved one in memory care is never an easy decision, but Cameron Hall has made it one we are truly grateful for. My mother-in-law is thriving there. She loves gardening, going on outings, and playing cornhole and board games with her fellow residents. Seeing her smile and enjoy life has been such a relief. Nicole goes above and beyond, sending us pictures regularly so we always know she is happy and well cared for. The entire staff, including Nicole, Jamie, Tonya, Crystal, and Kevin, treat her with so much warmth and kindness. They have not just given her care; they have given her a home. If you are facing this difficult decision for someone you love, I cannot recommend Cameron Hall enough. They are simply wonderful.

We are in the process of moving my Dad into the memory care center at Cameron Hall of Canton. My experience thus far has exceeded my expectations in every way. Every member of the staff I have interacted with has been very pleasant and Dr. Glory and Director Greg Lawrence have gone above and beyond to accommodate my Dad’s specific needs to make sure he’s as comfortable as possible! Not to mention, they have been a huge help to me as I navigate this process for the first timevery knowledgeable, and quick to answer questions, offer suggestions and assist in anyway they can given my Dad is coming from out of state (so we have a lot of moving parts). This is a very emotional time and if you’ve not been through something like this before there’s a lot to learn I am so thankful to have kind, compassionate advocates not only for my Dad but for the family as well. My 94-year-old grandmother had been living independently in her home until just a couple of weeks ago, when it became clear she could no longer do so safely. Our family faced the difficult decision of finding an assisted living and memory care community in Canton. After touring several facilities, we ultimately chose Cameron Hall”and we are so grateful we did. From our very first conversation with Greg and the rest of the staff, we knew this was the right place for her. Greg was an absolute pleasure to work with”friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive no matter the day or time. He answered every question thoroughly and helped us feel completely at ease during what was an emotional and overwhelming process. What truly stood out to us about Cameron Hall is the atmosphere. It feels intimate, warm, and genuinely family-oriented. That sense of comfort and care made all the difference in helping us make such a difficult decision. We are confident that our grandmother is in a place where she will be well cared for and treated with kindness and respect.

She welcomes every family member by name and always goes above and beyond. She represents how the rest of the care staff is. I’m always greeted and smiled at while walking down the hallway and you can really tell they care about their residents. Cameron Hall is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Canton.

I wanted to express our appreciation of the genuine care and hospitality that we received from Cameron Hall. We had a very close friend that recently passed away who was a resident there. Although he had only been there for nine months, he was treated with unbelievable love and care from everyone at the assisted living home. The staff and administration team at Cameron Hall provided their facilities and help for his memorial. When our friend was in the hospital, two of their care givers (Lindsey & Tiffany ) even visited him late one evening to check on him. I cannot express enough what that meant to his friends and family. I believe the love and care culture with this facility starts with the director Keith and his leadership. On many of my visits with my friend, I would observe Keith sitting down and just mingling with the residents. He made everyone feel like family. I had never seen this culture and care from other assisted living facilities that we had visited. On my first visit at Cameron Hall, I asked the lady at the front desk (Dasha) if it was possible to have lunch with my friend and how to pay for the meal. She said not to worry and to just let her know when I would like to have lunch with him. She would take care of everything. Dasha always makes a point of remembering and greeting every visitor by their first name. I would also like to mention Tuesdi for her help with making the transition with our friends passing. It was just an awesome experience from everyone at Cameron Hall during a difficult time. We also would like to thank the hospice care company, Golden Rule, for the refreshments and their unbelievable generosity of time for the memorial of our friend. Joe, Lindsay, and Matthew provided our friend with the ceremony and veterans honors with short notice. It should be noted that our friend was not a hospice patient under their care, and that they did this from their love of others. Jeff

We found this facility online as my uncle needed somewhere where he could be around people his own age and have socialization. He doesn't need a lot of assistance but he needs some. Overall, the staff and management are very good. Keith Ayers the Director goes above and beyond the call of duty and he genuinely cares about the residents. He has been a huge help to our family as we navigate senior care and the issues we have faced. The front staff are always so helpful as well and when we visit, the staff all smile and speak. They also call each patient by name and have kind words to say. Again, overall very pleased with our experience at the facility. Would recommend it if you are looking for a place for your loved one.

My Mom is a resident at Cameron Hall of Canton and has been for about a year and a half. She is so very happy there. The staff are loving, wonderful to her and to us the family. To name a few of the best - Shirma, Santana, Erica, T, Morgan, Lindsey, May and that is to just name a few. The PT staff is wonderful too - Lisa, Tony, Alina and of course Ringo. There are always multiple choices for meals and if the resident doesn't like what is served there are other choices that can be had, not just cheese sandwiches. There are activities many times a week and special ones for certain days of the month. My Mom is in BTR so things are a little less than for the AL but there are still many things for them to do. I do not understand some of the negative reviews, especially recently because they have worked hard to make this a loving and caring environment. If you check out their Facebook page you can see some of the activities they do with the residents both AL and BTR.

Deciding to place a loved one in a care facility is a stressful decision. Many emotions come to the surface when these life changes take place. The staff at Cameron Hall of Canton understand this and work above and beyond to help families with their individual transition. My mom has received personalized care. The professional and support staff there are caring folks who do a wonderful job of providing that same level of care to all the residents. Medical issues are promptly taken care of. And the people there are great at addressing the emotional needs my mom has. It’s a pleasant and home like atmosphere. A lot of the staff have been there multiple years and that’s so important in this industry. Days are full of activities, good food, peaceful places for them to sit and visit. Plenty of smiles, pats on the arm and people asking How are you? I’m glad my mom is there and doing so well.

After months of agonizing and then an unplanned hospital stay, my Mom and I made the difficult decision to pursue an Assisted Living environment. To be honest ..I dreaded it, as Mom has always been fiercely independent and did not want to leave her home. My fears were put to rest when I met Kristina and April, who jumped in and did everything under the sun to help my Mom with what was a challenging transition for her. They handled us with love and an abundance of kindness from day one, as have the rest of this wonderful team. This sweet place is managed and cared for by an AMAZING army of women who care deeply about the residents and their quality of life. They are often overworked and understaffed (as so many businesses are today) yet somehow they manage to get it all done with patience and smiles. I am forever grateful to have found and become a part of the Cameron Hall family

Cameron Hall Assisted Living in Canton is truly one if the best. Not only is the staff caring and compassionate, but the memory care community is one of the best I've seen. Lexie, the memory care coordinator is approachable, knowledgeable and easy to talk to about any questions or concerns a family has about their loved one. Lexie and her staff go out of their way to try to keep the residents entertained and engaged. The entire community has a cozy, homey atmosphere and is not all about fancy decor or chandeliers. Resident care is truly at the top of their list and it shows. It always smells fresh and feels inviting.

Anyone seeking the right place for assisted care for their loved one knows it is an emotional and important decision. So far, the help from the Community Relations Director, Irene Mullin, has been caring, attentive, and prompt. She has answered our questions from our first phone call and tour to presently guiding our steps as we approach the day our mother will move in. The community is lovely, but we chose it because the staff is truly amazing and all we know so far tells us we've found a great place.

My husband's mother moved to Cameron Hall of Canton memory care unit in October of 2017. The staff is truly amazing. Their care is top notch and they truly care about the well being of every resident. The facility is spotless, the meals are really well done and nice to look at as well. Laundry is also done with care and consideration for each resident. I can't recommend this facility enough. Their price is so reasonable and every staff member from administration to housekeeping truly cares about each and every resident.

My beautiful wife of 49 years "Sweet Doris" was diagnosed with dementia some time back. We kept her home as long as we felt safe in doing so. Our daughter Michelle & I looked for a nice assisted living facility that also had memory care. We stop by Cameron Hall in Canton, Georgia, we looked no further. After arriving we met Irene a very nice lady that answered all our questions. She went over the over all operation cost etc. She showed us the facility & rooms available. Michelle & I was very impressed with the facility & staff. After a short stay in the memory care section Doris had improved to a point where she was moved to the general population. I honestly don't think we could have found a better caring place for sweet Doris. The staff is wonderful. I give it a full 5 star rating. Doris is happy & we have piece of mind knowing she is well taking care of.

The place is one of the older assisted living in the county but has been well maintained. The building isn't what is important though. You can have a nice facility but if the staff isn't passionate about what they do it translates to how they treat your loved ones. The staff at Cameron Hall are wonderful. I'm there almost daily and they are consistently caring and loving towards my Dad. He loves it there and we love that he is well cared for. Tons of activities (he loves the Bingo!) and the daily exercise is great for his continued mobility. He especially loves the field trips that Connie takes him on frequently. He and Harold think that Connie could be driving a semi truck as she is such a great driver. She is fantastic! All the staff from April to Irene to Helen to Rico and Samantha, just to mention a few, are good to my Dad and that means the world to my family.
