The community at Wickshire South Lee not only extended a friendly, loving welcome to my mother 5 years ago but have continued to meet all of my expectations for her care and well being. The staff are more like family which is evident in her interactions with them. Fantastic communication, personal care and a warm, loving environment have helped my mother and my family transition smoothly through this critical life change for her! I am so glad she calls this home!

The staff at Wickshire has been absolutely wonderful and incredibly easy to work with. My grandmother joined the home a year ago and they have helped make her life and my life as simple and as smooth as possible. There have been a couple occasions where I have seen her as excited as I've ever seen her in my life when certain staff members arrive. Maybe it's her loss of cognitive abilities but I believe they do a wonderful job with their residents.

Wickshire feels like home to the residents and I feel so comfortable having my dad live there. He truly loves the staff and they are so good to him. They have done an incredible job keeping all of the residents safe and healthy during Covid which has been my biggest fear. I can honestly say my dad is safer there than anywhere else! Although the residents cannot leave the vicinity during Covid, they have done an outstanding job keeping them active and engaging with 6 feet apart! I would highly recommend Wickshire to any of my friend's parents or loved ones!

My Mom and Dad live at Wickshire South Lee Buford, a short distance from me, and have been there almost four years. In March 2020, our lives changed from everyday visits and family outings to Covid-19 and Governor ordered shelter-in-place. Wickshire South Lee has truly risen to the challenges of this unprecedented time. They have kept my parents and other residents safe and healthy. They work hard to keep them engaged, happy and well fed. Tracy, Toni and Monica are always coming up with fun activities to keep residents entertained to fill the void of missing their families. I get to FaceTime with my Mom who's in Memory Care at least 5 times a week - she's always smiling and loves the staff. My Dad tells me often they're doing a great job. Wickshire is a smaller community which I love. The management team, caregivers, and staff are like family. Thanks for what you do every day - Tracy, Toni the woo hoo lady, my good friend Madonica, Dayo, sweet Lauren, DeVonn, Chef Tia and the dining staff, Johnny, Berline, Claudia, Carlie, Anna - and more I haven't named. Wickshire is a close-knit, special community with a lot of heart.

I was employed by Brookdale South Lee around this time last year. I f not for having to relocate across town, I would still love to work with this team. The wellness director, Michelle, was awesome, a long with the activities director, director and the entire staff! The residents felt loved and safe!

My Gramps is currently here! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are taken care of and comfortable. Store trips, out to eat, bingo nights, and more!

My mother-in-law is a resident here, and it's lovely. The staff is excellent, the facility is clean, well cared for, and most surprisingly has none of that "urine, broccoli and sadness" smell that so many senior residences do. It's a great place.
