After interviewing several home care facilities to help me care for my husband who had cancer, I went with Amada Senior Care mostly due to the solid 5 star rating on Google reviews. Now, after having used them, I can certainly see why they have earned that rating. I had a few reliability issues with my initial primary caregiver and she ended up leaving the company to go back to school. But when she was here, she was here pretty awesome and even stayed 45 minutes after her shift one day to help me get everything cleaned up when my husband got sick unexpectedly. After she left the company, I can't say enough about Oliviane, who was kind and compassionate, as well as qualified and reliable, and became like a part of our family. She could make my husband smile even on the darkest of days. The owner, Anthony, is incredibly knowledgeable about LTC policies and helped me understand what should and should not be covered, as well as helping me fight an uphill battle with the company about waiving the 3 month elimination period since my husband was already on hospice by the time I needed the care. Even after my husband passed away, Anthony continued to stay involved and fight this battle with them for 5 more months until it was resolved! I highly recommend Amada Senior Care without reservation for your home care needs. I felt they genuinely cared for me and my husband like their own family and exceeded any and all expectations.

I’ve been a client of Amada for three years and have been pleased with the service I’ve received. More than once they have gone above and beyond my expectations. When I’ve needed an emergency pharmacy run and a CNA wasn’t available, someone from the office (including the CEO Anthony), made the run for me. I don’t believe you’ll find better customer service than that. Both CNAs I’ve had have felt more like family as oppose to workers on a job. I definitely recommend Amada for your care.

Just two weeks after we moved into our new home, my husband suffered a devastating fall which left him in need of 24-hour home care. Advice from neighbors and a bit of searching helped us find Amada. Amada sent Ariana to us, and we were amazed at her level of expertise. She is smart, and wise, as well. She extends her care to our entire family from a heart filled with compassion and love. Ariana always arrives several minutes before scheduled and often misses her "quitting time" if she is not at a proper place to leave. She does household chores (without my asking) if and when they need to be done, but the attention she gives to my husband is given with warmth and caring about his comfort and well-being. We feel that we are very blessed to have this young lady to share our concerns and aid in the resolution of the many problems we encounter almost daily. Thank you to the entire Amada team for the great support of both my parents! Our family appreciates the talent of each person. But I want to highlight CARLA SHOWMAN, whose support of our mother was extraordinary. Carla displayed many successful traits beyond our expectations. One was Carla's empathetic support. At times, expressions of empathy can be re-assuring yet also enhance our sorrow. However, Carla has the skill to express empathetic support in a way that actually helped us feel a little better about mom's condition.....not an easy task! Carla's generosity and patience were constantly on display. As mom lost interest in eating, Carla was quick to provide food and drink from her own meals if mom thought Carla's items looked more appealing. At times, Carla called newly assigned aides to brief them on mom's condition. Another key successful trait involves Carla's strong initiative to take actions that comforted mom and the entire family. Just one example was, as mom's condition worsened, Carla would not hesitate to contact us to provide details that certainly helped shape mom's medical care. Also, once mom was unable to use her phone, Carla routinely initiated calls to keep mom connected to all mom's family and friends. Carla's flexible style enabled her to effectively communicate to everyone, despite the many personality types of the family, friends and medical support team. Carla knew how to effectively navigate through all of us as mom's health declined and she passed away. Certainly, Carla's experience and wisdom helped extend mom's life which gave us more time to love on her. All of us felt so much more comfortable knowing Carla had her eyes on our most precious prize....our mom!

Anthony has been a lifesaver for us, stepping in when my Mom suddenly needed more care! We got immediate help at the house with flexible hours and Anthony assisted in talking to her long term care provider. So wonderful!! We were so blessed to have Amada Caregivers helping us with our mom in her last few days of hospice. We were planning to use their services for a few months, but mom only lasted a few days in hospice. But the Amada staff was a lifesaver during that time. I have been using Liz a carer from Amada for two months to care for my husband. She has been working 11-7. My husband is in memory care with a diagnosed Brain tumor. Some nights he does not sleep and she has been wonderful to keep him calm, dry and comfortable. She bathes him and gives him wonderful morning care. She is priceless and I appreciate her very much.
