It is a privilege to share my appreciation for Natasha Narain, whose care and compassion have made a lasting difference for my mother during her time in Memory Care. From the very beginning”just the second day after my mom moved in”Natasha demonstrated an extraordinary level of kindness and attentiveness. She graciously shared her personal cell phone number with me, offering reassurance that I could reach out if I ever had questions or concerns. That simple gesture spoke volumes about her dedication and the genuine care she has for the residents and their families. More than a year later, Natasha continues to exemplify what it means to be a truly compassionate Med Tech. She treats each resident with patience, dignity, and warmth, and it is clear that she views her work not simply as a job, but as a calling. Watching the way she interacts with residents in Memory Care”always gentle, attentive, and respectful”brings tremendous comfort to families like mine who trust others to care for someone we love so deeply. Natasha’s consistent compassion, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond do not go unnoticed. She is a tremendous asset to the memory care team, and our family is deeply grateful for the kindness and dedication she continues to show my mother and the entire community.

We placed my wife - who suffers from advancing Dementia & seizures - at this facility following her release from the hospital. She was hospitalized due a unknown fall 3 weeks ago related to what we now believe was most likely a seizure. Please know Ivy Springs is the WORST facility to care for your family member. Concern #1. My wife was denied all her prescribed medications for 2+ weeks. Concern #2. My wife is prohibited from taking OTC heartburn medications & now suffers from extreme indigestion concerns. Concern #3. We were provided no check-in/check-out procedures; no visiting hours information; or any new patient rules/procedures. I was only ordered to provide the office staff with a blank check - to which they filled in several thousand dollars without notification to client. Concern #4. The meal staff are mostly from the islands & often communicate in their native parlance. Concern #4. I join my wife for lunch several times each week and observe one meal server sitting in the dining area fixated on her phone vs. assisting the 'patients'. Concern #5. I have learned that my wife receives 2 showers (sit down) a week and upon inspection I find her diaper is dirty more often than not. In short, Ivy Springs is an awful place a loved family member! We will be leaving when the next opportunity at another vetted facility is available!

Words alone cannot express my gratitude for this facility. It was such a sweet landing spot for my Daddy, Joseph S. Parker. The care and compassion was beyond incredible. The Admin and Nurses were attentive and provided the absolute best care and encouragement. The facility is beautiful, well maintained. They offer many resident activities and delicious meals. Thank you to Michelle, Anita and team!

Although it's taken a little time for dad to adjust, he seems to be pretty happy here. New admin are working hard to accomodate their residents and are upbeat and professional. All of the staff seem to be very caring people.

Ivy Springs is truly a special community. We have recently moved in our loved one, and from the first encounter to move in day, until present daythey have been phenomenal! Management has been very receptive and easily accessible to families and have made the move in process so seamless. Thank you for your caring hearts and love for the community you serve.

My dad has been living there for a few months now. We are very happy with our decision. The management team is knowledgeable, helpful and caring. My Dad talks about the caregivers as his friends. I would highly recommend this place for any senior that needs an assisted living environment .

What a great experience! From the beginning, every interaction has been fantastic. Rachel Wilson has been amazing to work with. The service I and Dad have experienced from all of the staff is far above what we expected, and their pricing is lower than other assisted living facilities in the area. The property is lovely and looks very new. I'm grateful that Ivy Springs is where Dad now calls home!

First I want to acknowledge all the staff at The Retreat at Buford! You are unbelievable in your attention to detail and your heartfelt approach to making your residents feel cared for and loved! We were in need of finding a place for my mother in law rather quickly and found The Retreat! They, Sabrina, worked with us to expedite the paper work and get my MIL moved in flawlessly. They made the move in process even easy! The residence is like a hotel! Spotless and beautiful! The staff is above and beyond helpful and attentive. They made us and more importantly my MIL feel like she was HOME! She's only been there less then a week and I've already heard from them that she doing well and watching Football, her favorite pastime. From the daily ice cream socials to the weekly outings this place is a perfect fit for her and I know we made the right decision moving her here! I can not thank you all for everything you did and I know will continue to do to make her new home wonderful! I hold heartedly give The Retreat 5 + stars for all that they do!
