Charter Senior Living is doing a very solid job of taking care of my loved ones. We came from a different facility and charter is so very much better and I have to attribute it to the executive staff leadership. Their hearts are in it and when there are issues, we always have the opportunity to share, express our needs, and they listen and implement and execute changes. It is a difficult decision to have a loved one placed in a facility, but I have to say I would rather have them here at charter where we feel like a family than anywhere else. I trust them and they help make the transition with kindness, compassion and caring hearts.

My mother has been a resident at Charter for 2 years and there has been a lot of changes in management, but with every change has been improvement. I have seen the biggest improvement since Maryam has come on board. She and her team do an amazing job in this high-demand environment. My mom receives care and compassion from all of the staff. I don’t worry about her because I know she’s safe and being treated with dignity. When issues arise, Maryam is always accessible and responsive. I’m looking forward to seeing Charter getting better and better.

Each one is pleasant and will go beyond the requirements of her job in order to make me ,the resident feel safe and cared for. Thanks to Charter Vinings Dining and Life Enrichment Staff for the TV Dinner and Show Night last night! That was the best food and the best TV dinner we ever had! Thanks to Chef Darrion Mitchell and staff for planning and producing the great dining experience. The baked chicken, mac and cheese, and key lime pie were delicious. We loved the TV dinner containers, "As Seen on TV." Thanks to Larry! We heard he was in the kitchen working hard! Each time Charter Vinings hosts such evenings, it is always an " All hands on deck" environment. We enjoy seeing so many staff members and getting a chance to visit. We love the upbeat environment and the chance to get our Mom out of Memory Care for such grand festivities. She enjoys the party. We like the 70's music. Very Cool! Kenisha in Activities is always enriching the residents and family members lives! The decor was wonderful. It's like a cruise ship environment It was exciting and humbling to see the senior staff serve the residents, family members, and friends. We loved seeing Julian Browning, Eugenia Mims, Kellie Harper, Maryam Mullens and Catrina Stevenson on the floor and speaking to all of us and making sure we had what we needed. I moved my mother to Charter in early 2024. She has complex care needs and requires the highest level of support, which many assisted living communities cannot accommodate. Charter was able to provide the level of care she needs while still offering a warm, community atmosphere that you don’t typically find in nursing homes. We’ve experienced a few nursing homes and assisted living facilities since 2017, and Charter is by far the most consistent and caring place my mom has lived. The staff truly feels like family. Special thanks to Mrs. T, Bernice, Quinn, Martae, Britney, Bri, Gigi, Courtney, Kellie, and the entire front desk team”they go above and beyond every day to make my mom feel loved and cared for. No place is perfect, but Charter is always responsive and quick to address any concerns. I highly recommend Charter Senior Living of Vinings. It’s a special place, with caring people and modern, updated surroundings.

Our family is very grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown by the staff at Charter Senior Living of Vinings. When our family member arrived from the rehabilitation facility, the entire team was present to welcome him. Unfortunately, the nursing staff quickly recognized that he needed immediate hospice care and recommended that he be taken to the hospital. Their honesty and concern for his well-being meant a great deal to our family. Cedric Bowler, Maryam Mullen and Kellie Harper played instrumental parts in the transition from rehabilitation to the senior living facility. Even though our family member was only there briefly, the staff treated us with kindness, empathy, and respect. We truly appreciate the integrity and compassion they showed our family.

Thanks to Rasheda, the Med Tech in Memory Care. She keeps us informed about our mother's medications and daily activities and lets us know when she may be acting differently than usual. She is very pleasant to our mother. We are so grateful for her. Alzheimer's is a devastating and overwhelming disease to witness. We look forward to seeing Rasheda on the floor. She is quite the bright light for us!

Normally I'm very happy with the care my mom receives from Raven, Kayshaun, Quin, Kelly, Emma, Kadasha and Ms. T. Also the med techs Sara, Ambelly, Phreedum and Kaneaha. However, when these individuals are not working the level of care is low. My mom has called about being soiled for too long or not being properly cleaned, which can lead to infection. The evening seems understaffed which I fear will wear out the great staff. I like this place but I have seen a decline in the functioning in the last month or so. Please hold on and treat the long time staff you have with care. I would hate to see them go due to overwork. UPDATE 4/15 My mom moved in October 2024 and I loved all of her caregivers and med-techs, the actual people that take care of her, are now gone for one reason or the other. 2 people in particular I know the administration was out of find a reason to release them or force them to quit. It's sad because they were also Very New to managing the place and had to going off personal opinions from others that only do sales and do not work with the residents. Now I'm pretty upset that most of those people got fed up with the treatment of constantly being watched for any mistake. It was so obvious that the other residents would talk about it while eating. I'm there to hear it for myself. If the owner reads this, please don't tell me to contact Gina or Letty. I have done both and only get what sounds like rehearsed responses and nothing changes. In fact, somethings are worse from the high sodium processed dinners to complete disregard for the once a week room cleaning the residents are supposed to get. On two resent occasions my mom almost got the wrong meds due to agency hires. I've talked to employees that no longer work there and each time the same reference to why they left is made. Not enough help and someone with a personal agenda against them had the power to influence the E.D. who according to them (at least 4 past employees) reprimands before asking questions or hearing both sides. Mom is only still here because the location is great for me and my family to see her daily and I haven't had the opportunity to truly vet another place. We pay too much money for mediocre care. I keep praying it gets better sooner than later. I would hate to move my mother so soon when so much has already changed in her life in a short time. 3/7 I have lots of updates, but I will keep this one positive. I am at this place everyday because my mother is there. I see this as a place that helps me take care of my mom. With that being said, there are employees that I know I can trust with my mom's care. Caregivers Beauti, Amaari, Quinn, and Lisa make it easy for me to come in late or take that rare day off from going to see my mom. With them I know my mom will get what she needs.If it wasn't for the people that take direct care of the residents on the third floor, this time in my life would be more difficult. The MedTech Embelly is the only MedTech that has been with my mother since she came to the facility in 2024. When she is on duty, I can sleep peacefully because I know my mother will be safe.

I have been at Charlotte you live in for four years, This coming April. One of the most pleasant aspects of my stay here Has been being cared for by some truly outstanding caregivers. They have been several who have made me feel welcome and cared for, but I’d like to express my Sincere appreciation to Mrs. Jekyll and Brooks. She is not only a Med Tech, but she will immediately respond to my care needs. She questioned me each day, after delivering my medicine, as to whether I need anything else. She does this without fail. And many times when I have responded with yes I need you To do this or that , She will help me with whatever it is I need. Even if she has to come back after distributing medicine to other residence She has helped me by contacting doctors and pharmacies concerning problems with a prescription Sometimes she rolls me down to the dining room, when other caregiver was a tied up She is always punctual and pleasant. I appreciate checking so much!

I moved into my apartment in November 2024. It was nice and the staff was friendly. Over time, it has grown better and better. The management team changed to the delight of many. Since the change, we have better food, more activities with exercise, games involving mind and fun, health education, and outings to restaurants and shopping. We have social and fun Wednesdays with plans for museum, park, and movie outings. I am excited about the future of where I live. The friendly professional staff continues to make life easier for all. Our monthly community meetings with managers keep us updated and gives opportunity to air concerns. So you can find CHARTER SENIOR LIVING OF VININGS a wonderful place to reside. Since posting this review, the leadership has added more staff and is still training others to the enjoyment of the residents. Our enrichment program has really taken hold as you see in pictures. I see more joy and excitement for all our residents.

Having worked with many ALF's during the duration of my career. I can say with confidence that Charter has by far the most accommodating, caring and supportive staff I have encountered. They truly love their residents. They go above and beyond to bring the feeling of "home". The Executive Director is truly all about the residents. If a resident needs anything, she will make it happen. There isn't any other ALF that I would allow to take care of my parents. Thank you Charter staff for all you do.

This place really needs to hire better trained caregivers there are several that don't have any training to use a lift that some of the residents require to get out of their beds they are getting some residents cleaned and up when they are asked to so they miss the pt because they don't know how to use the lifts seriously do they have any training requirements or do they even care I over heard the sales manager discussing how many millions of dollars she had made for the company but they run out of food supplies that are supposed to be available at any time for the residents these residents pay over 7000 dollars every month to get quality care period don't get me wrong there are some employees that care about the residents but they don't get recognition they deserve because management is to busy worrying about appearances than the issue if you have a family member in this facility visit them as often as you can and you will see what really goes on when they think no one is watching

Went to Atlanta to visit with my cousin at Charter Senior Care of Vinnings. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. The facility was clean and surrounding areas made you want to sit awhile. Since I’m in SC they had no idea we were visiting so it seems that’s who and what they are; friendly,, professional and taking care of the ones who may not be able care for themselves.

The staff at China findings is wonderful. They are caring and attentive, and there isn’t a single thing I can complain about as far as the personnel is concerned. However, their institutional PHARMACY will not file Medicare. So we are billed a full cost of the prescriptions, and it’s up to us to file Medicare. Since we are billed monthly, it means filing Medicare monthly. It would seem that a facility, whose overwhelming population is Medicare eligible would want to use a pharmacy that files Medicare.

Courteous employees & facility is clean & friendly. Unfortunately , the fire alarm went off while there & the noise in Mrs Sheetz room was unbearable. No one was able to stop it until maintenance could be notified, although it had been determined that the cause was a false alarm. I had to leave the premises after more than 5 minutes of painful noise.

The staff on memory on The Weeknd was excellent! I’m a CNA myself and worked on memory care over 25 years and they were excellent with the residents! The dining staff in assisted living were excellent and the food was appetizing at lunch! The people that I visited on both sides the rooms were nice! The front desk woman very helpful and friendly they say 1st expression is the last expression and she left a good one!

The Social at Vinings is a warm and happy place. The residents are treated with kindness & loving care. The community is a busy place with lots of fun activities every day. With spring coming we will have more outdoor events like cookouts and patio chats with wine, ice cream socials and other refreshments. We are located on a hill with a beautiful view of the Atlanta skyline and have lovely outdoor spaces with flowers and new patio furniture that the residents enjoy on nice days. We are veryfriendly and welcoming to everyone.

I could not be happier that my mom is so happy. She as well as my brother and I were nervous about this move, but I have talked to my mom every day and she is the happiest I have seen her in some time. She says the staff takes very good care of everyone and the cooks are excellent. She says she is going to get fat from all the wonderful food. I am very thankful to have such a great place for my mom!
