First of all - the food is great! This is/was very important for both me and my father (resident). We met with sales manager a few years ago and was impressed, but timing wasn't right for our situation. When timing was right and after additional evaluation of other properties, we met with the same sales manager (she's been there for a number of years and knows the property and seemed to know every single resident) and secured an apartment in assisted living care. After 4 months, my father has really settled in and is happy. He came to Atria from another facility in another state where he wasn't content. While acclimating to a new facility is difficult for a person with alzheimers, Atria recommended some solutions to making the transition smooth and the adjustment pleasant. It has been just that - smooth and pleasant. The majority of Atria is independent senior living and as such - there are plenty of activities and amenities for all seniors at any level. The facility does a great job of integrating the new residents into daily activities and we now rarely find my dad to be in his apartment. He really enjoys the assisted living activities and still can't stop telling us how good the food is. He also is amazed at how everyone knows his name. Life with alzheimers is quite the challenge and knowing there is another level of care (memory care) at Atria is comforting should it become necessary. We visit with my dad fairly frequently and take him out for family activities - so he has a sense for his community beyond the complex. It's a great location - convenient to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Very safe - is gated after 8pm. We are thankful for the staff and company culture.

I'm an entertainer/self contractor and I work for over 60 retirement communities, so I get a front row seat to a lot of what goes on. I'm very friendly with many of the residents at Atria North Point as I've been going there for many years. I'm impressed with the staff, they are really good, caring people. The activity program is strong and the residents seem very happy. The happy vibe is genuine and starts with upper level management down to the Cna's who often walk by and dance for the residents. It's one of my favorite communities and I would recommend it!

I currently work in Hospice Marketing. Every time I visit Atria at Northpoint I always have a wonderful experience! Pereze is always kind, efficient with information as it pertains to her residents who need our service and professional. Natasha and Sam always provide a warm welcome as well. The residence are always having a great time and appear to be in great hands! I would highly recommend Atria Northpoint if you have a loved one in the Assistant Living Market!

Atria was recommended to us by a former Executive Director of an Assisted Living facility in North Atlanta. Prior to moving my father from a location whose service and attention to detail was diminishing, we conducted very thorough due diligence narrowing from 10 facilities to 3 and ultimately to North Point Atria. My father has now been there more than 3 months. Staff are educated and caring, not just people who show up. Food is exceptional and in a restaurant environment complete with staff and menus. Facilities and amenities are top notch. Services are great and they have great attention to detail and cleanliness. This is a GOOD place for my dad. The residents seem to rally for each other and help each other out. Its really nice and speaks volumes to management how that's been fostered in their community. My dad and mom were married for 57 years before she passed. He has dementia and the first place he was at left too much to be desired. He's blossomed here. Atria NorthPoint was an answer to prayers. Top level management has been in place for over a decade and this place has its act together. Just go there. You'll see.

January 2023
Since becoming a resident at Atria North Point, my Dad has become engaged, enjoys being with others and enjoys the activities offered. He is much more content and doesn't spend all that much time in his apartment, which is great.
January 2023
I toured this facility a couple of weeks ago with my parents. It was my 3rd facility of the month and my expectations remained rather low after the previous 2. I figured it would turn out to be just the same but I still had to check out obligations and all. Turns out it was better than I thought. The place was clean which was a great start. It didn't give off that retirement home setup instead felt like apartments. They had all the tentative services offered at such facilities and I want to address the fact that the assitant executive director Rajae Idir, took more than five minutes to sit down and have a chat with my parents and I. It meant alot and felt welcoming and not just another room waiting to be filled. That alone was reason enough to have me consider the place as a potential home for my parents.
December 2022
Highly recommended community for your loved ones. Although Atria is one of the larger buildings in the area the staff make it their goal to get to personally know the residents. From the marketing team, dietary team, to the nursing teams you will always be greeted with a smile and care. Working in the industry for years this is extremely difficult to find. The residents are the number one priority in this building. It is clean with wonderful amenities. They also have wonderful daily activities on the schedule. Move in process is seamless, just overall 10/10 community for your family member!

Mom has been in the Life Guidance Memory Care Unit of Atria North Point's facility for almost three years suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The Executive Director (Pereze) has brought outstanding leadership to the Life Guidance Unit and her staff have shown tremendous loving care for our Mom. Pereze and her staff have continuous ongoing programs for the residents which engage them on a daily basis. The Life Guidance environment is always happy and inviting and Pereze and her team do an excellent job of keeping us updated on our Mom's care. We are very pleased with the leadership of the Life Guidance Unit at Atria North Point and highly recommend them.

My parents really like living here for several reasons BUT they have been informed that their rent will be increasing HUNDREDS of dollars per MONTH as of January 2022. They haven't even lived there an entire year yet. There needs to be a revised policy with full transparency to all residents and families BEFORE they move into this place. They state the reasoning is due to increased COVID-related expenses. YES, these places should and deserve to make a profit but there must be a rent increase policy that is fair. $500 per MONTH increase or 10% is outrageous. Of course, increases are not going to be welcome by residents but this amount must be reviewed immediately because it is excessive.
August 2021
In September 2020 my wife and I became residents at Atria North Point (ANP). We chose Atria because we felt it was the right place for us. But before committing to living at ANP you should know that there are several issues you should be aware of and that marketing and sales won't tell you about. First ANP is woefully understaffed in all departments. This of course affects all services. Second the Executive Director doesn't seem to understand his job. Yes, he must of course abide by Headquarters guide lines, but he must also be sensitive to his staffs and resident's needs. Our ED doesn't exhibit these qualities. Hence, staff and resident turnover appears inordinately high, particularly among the department heads. Staff turnover of course affects the quality of service residents receive. Finally the rental adjustments for inflation appear to be excessive (somewhere between 5% and 10% per year). It's difficult to be specific on the turnover and rent increases because I'm not privy to the statistical data but the issues appear to be true.

June 2021
I moved to Atria Northpoint last year due to water damage at my other place. Atria is a lovely place with good amenities such as food, gym, indoor-swimming pool, and truly nice residents. If you are considering moving to Atria there are several problems that you should know about and that Sales and Marketing will not tell you. 1. Atria is woefully understaffed in both the staff and department directors. This will directly impact your living conditions. 2. Everyone who is considering moving in is offered a deal, however, be advised that after a year they raise the rent 5% - 12%. And there are no negotiations. 3. The biggest drawback is Management. They do not respect our opinion or listen to our needs. The Executive Director (ED) has his hands tied by Corporate and does nothing without Corporates approval. This makes it very hard to discuss problems with the ED since he cant or wont make decisions on his own. Should you still come to Atria make sure before you sign a contract you get what you agree to written into the contract. Most importantly, on your tour of Atria talk to a few residents without a member of the sales force present then you can evaluate Atria for yourself.

Great place. We visited a friend and they cannot say enough good things about the facility, staff and care.
April 2021
I thought this was going to be a good place for my parents, but I was wrong. My Mom is in the memory care section and the staff turns over so often it's hard to get any continuity in care. She's been there for four months and I have not been allowed to visit her because they can't come up with a suitable COVID protection protocol. My Dad is in the independent living section and probably once a week they forget to deliver his meal to him. Atria also announced a rate increase just 60 days after my parents moved in. We were suppose to have price protection for the first year, but they reneged on that and raised the price 5%. Moving my parents to Atria North Point has not been a good experience.

Mom is relatively new to this facility, so they are on the learning curve right now, that being said, the facility itself is gorgeous and appears to be well maintained. She loves her big spaceous room! We have have encountered some issue with her dietary needs-restrictions recently, but the staff I have dealt with have all been helpful and easy to work with. Some staff are not as easy to contact, which can be a bit frustrating, however I understand the need for each team member to wear many hats at this critical time. An open line of communication is imperative to family members who DO wish to take an interest and part in their families care. There is no shortage of communication from the executive director, just some of the middle management. While there is always room for improvement, they are doing a great job of working towards that goal. They do have an app that makes some of this easier, but, as I say, still on the learning curve with them...

My mother stayed at this facility for several months after suffering a broken hip-surgery. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained. There were a wide range of activities for seniors. The physical therapists on-site were excellent, which enabled my mom to regain her ability to walk without assistance. The director, Greg Carrie, is an asset to this facility and the residents.

We are extremely pleased with Somerby of Alpharetta. Having a person you love with dementia can be overwhelming and at times an emotional roller coaster. Their safety and daily care becomes top priority for care givers. Ron and Julie has helped me to embrace this dificult journey by showing me that mom is safe and well cared for; as well as finding ways for mom to maintain her independence for as along as dementia will allow. Somerby also has Assisted Living and Independent Living housing which includes many great amenities.

We visited with our neighbor and her mother for a seminar and community tour. They gave us a free dinner too. Very impressed with this high quality community. The independent living has everything one would need. Love the amenities.
