I am a chaplain and cover about 15 facilities visiting patients in the Alpharetta, Roswell and Sandy Springs area. This is by far one of the best places I visit. The staff is caring and the building itself is designed with a homey feel! And, Colleen at the front desk and Toni in activities as well as Dawn in memory care are some of the nicest and most welcoming people you will ever meet. No facility is perfect but this one is like a home away from home.

My company Angel Hearts Care has been providing private care services at Arbor Terrace at Crabapple for the last decade. As one of Angel Hearts' many caregivers, I have had the privilege of being sent to many different facilities where ever our services are needed. Of all the places my job takes me, Arbor Terrace is my absolute favorite place to report on duty. Our clients there are so well taken care of, it makes our work so much easier and the general atmosphere is simply inviting. The entire Arbor team from management, department heads, housekeeping and floor staff are so engaged, they are always at hand to assist, whenever we need them, and though we are third parties in the community, we have always been accorded access, dignity and respect, like members of their staff. My step father, Ray Williams, has been a resident at Arbor Terrace for a year. He has difficulty communicating......both hearing and speaking. A large component of Ray's daily happiness is Toby the Director's Dog. Toby doesn't care if Ray can't hear. Toby doesn't care if Ray can't speak clearly. Toby gives Ray 100% pure joy!! Seriously, Ray "loves on" and interacts with Toby throughout the day. I personally feel that Toby is a huge asset.

I visited this community recently and had a fantastic experience! When I walked in the door I was greeted by the community dog Toby, who is very friendly On my visit I met with Dorie, the sales director she was very knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel at home! I also had the opportunity to meet the I met the Executive Director Tricia, she has a very upbeat and friendly personality and you feel the warmth as you walk in the doors!! If you are in the Crabapple area and looking for assisted living or memory care I would highly Recommend giving them a visit!

I was just touring with Dori their sales person and she was very honest, straight forward for my needs. They have a 4.8 rating because they are know for their quality of care that others can not provide, even new facilities. I do think that more regular cleaning of the floors and elevators are needed, but in the end the care is most important.

When we were looking for a place for and with our dad, we had several requirements. We wanted a small community in a nice, convenient location with a great, caring staff. Arbor Terrace has met our expectations and more! The staff is super, which is unbelievable considering the pandemic and the shortage in staffing we have all endured. They are so nice to my dad and all of my family. They genually care! There are activities happening every day, such as movie nights, exercise classes, games, entertainment, etc. My dad really enjoys sitting out in the beautiful courtyard. My mom moved in as an assisted living resident a couple years ago then moved to their memory care community a few months ago. The move was seamless. All the employees there are simply amazing! The level of care is exceptional with tender, gentle attention to meet all her needs. The team communicates daily via text; frequently via email, and by phone as needed for more urgent concerns. Mom's care is far superior to any we could provide! The staff and caregivers continually impress with their professionalism, compassion, and sensitivity and attention to her needs. This isn't a bad review just ways to improve. I know everyone is struggling and all Healthcare workers are burned out. I thank all the workers for all their hard work. That being said our loved one contracted COVID in the facility which can happen anywhere. But what shouldn't happen is the delay in treatment. Also, the lack of accessibility to water for patients that can't easily get up and down and risk falling. Cats and dogs are required to have access to water. It goes without saying this should apply to humans. I have had family members in facilities that kept hospital mugs next to them and made sure it was filled at all time. It cuts down on simple things like chapped lips and more serious things like kidney infections. If you send a family member here know that there are some great, devoted workers and programs that were really beneficial. Nowhere is perfect and everywhere and everyone can find improvement from input. Just check on your loved one and make sure they are getting all the assistance they need. I grew up here and want people I love who end up here to have as much information as possible. (Also, I didn't appreciate being asked to take down a review on FB because it wasn't a glowing review. I think it was fair and there are some situational issues I didn't mention.)

Written in reference to the Mothers Day Celebration... ...And it was something else! We were issued formal invitations (a dress code: your Sunday best) and I dont know how in the world they pulled it off but they did! We each had a tray table outside our door covered with spring colored plastic tablecloths and set with the most beautiful paper party plates, cups and saucers, napkins, even silver colored spoons and forks, that I have ever seen! And there was a small white vase with real red rosebuds (which we got to keep!) The food was finger sandwiches, scones, mints, etc. on one of the activity tables used in the activity room and there were even tea pots with hot water after you selected your tea bag! The staff served us and then entertained us with singing and the results a questionnaire about what your mother always said to you that one of them had gotten together. It was absolutely a production. And, where, but here, would such have happened? I am so glad to be here. Emma

Its rare for me to write a review, but our experience with Arbor Terrace at Crabapple warrants the exception. I was hesitant to move my mom into an assisted living setting, for a lot of reasons. As a son, I wanted the best for my mom. I felt there were so many unknowns in taking this step, and this certainly delayed the our decision. Frankly, I also wanted to allow my mom to remain in her own home as long as possible, thinking it was emotionally best for her and the best way we could provide her support. Looking back, we waited too long! When we finally made a decision to take this step, my wife researched everything in the area and visited the top 20 options. Narrowing down from there, we took a deep dive into the finalists. Every step of the way, Arbor Terrace at Crabapple stood out as the best option. We acted on that sense, and we were so happy with the decision. Mom truly was treated as family, with the opportunity to interact with people on a daily basis, make friends, get involved with activities and receive a level of care that frankly we could not provide. In many ways, it also allowed me to be a son instead of a caregiver. It also allowed her to no longer feel alone. In all of this, I think its also important to compliment the staff. First, in terms of my moms basic needs, we always felt the staff was right on top of things. From daily medications, and responding to any changes, to the unique issues that often needed to be met in my moms care plan, the staff was always responsive. Further, they were proactive in calling us with questions and concerns. Even in the covid environment, the staff worked to keep us involved. That also extended to the staff going over and above to make sure we could visit when allowed, helping to facilitate FaceTime calls, and otherwise keeping us informed. That was especially important as my moms health, and needs, started to change. Despite what everyone calls these unprecedented times Arbor Terrace so effectively became our eyes, ears, hands and feet for her care and provided us connectivity that we cannot overstate. Call it an extension of her family, or a team of professionals that show by their actions that they love what they do - and understand that their residents are truly their highest priority - either way, my mom could not have been in better care, and I could not have had better confidence that she was being treated well.

After visiting MANY Assisted Living communities in the area, I was very drawn to Arbor Terrace Crabapple (ATC), first by the up-to-date decor and furnishings in the common areas, numerous beautiful fresh flower arrangements, the outdoor garden area and screened in porch with rocking chairs. It felt much more like a warm and welcoming home than a facility. I was then impressed by the Arbor Standards printed out and framed, which described the Arbor Family values, their culture, the employees and family, resident care given. After 15 months of my mother-in-law living at ATC, I can say these standards are truly lived out in their service and not just words in a frame hanging on the wall. In time, I learned the best part of ATC is the staff. Many of them became like extended family to my mother-in-law and myself. They found the fun and laughter still to be had in her life. ATC staff understood the challenges we faced and were so patient when we needed help, advise or just someone to talk to about our concerns. If you happen to be on hold when calling the community, you will hear... Service is our whole communitys philosophy. We celebrate each life through unique experiences. We create delightful surprises and meaningful moments in a safe and caring place. Arbor Terrace. We listen. We respond. We Care. This past Spring, due to Covid restrictions, my mother-in-law was unable to attend our sons wedding. She was beyond disappointed. ATC went over and above to give her a very special memory and make the day the best it could be. Again, their actions spoke louder than mere words and they truly created a delightful surprise that gave her a meaningful moment on a day she had been looking forward to for a lifetime. On my first visit to Arbor Terrace Crabapple, a total stranger stopped me on the sidewalk that day and said it had been the best experience for her own mother living there, and that I couldnt go wrong choosing this community. Then after a year, my mother-in-law transitioned to the memory-care side of the community. On that same day, another person I had never met said her father was currently on the memory-care side and they were so wonderful in caring for him. Im writing this review so that as you are making the difficult decision on where to move your loved one, I would tell you the same... you can have confidence and assurance in choosing ATC!

My mother has been at Arbor Terrace Crabapple for almost 3 years now. She started in assisted living and eventually needed to transition to memory care. The staff and management at this facility have gone above and beyond to meet her needs on a daily basis from the beginning. The staff is kind, respectful and well trained on how to assist and speak to residents with memory impairments. They offer many activities throughout the day to keep residents busy and moving. During COVID, management quickly put into place stringent guidelines and safety procedures to keep the residents safe. They communicated the steps they were taking to the families immediately. Obviously they had to stop visitation to the residents to keep them safe from the virus so they took extra care to offer FaceTime or Zoom calls for the residents so the families could stay in touch with their loved ones. The Director sends weekly videos to the families with updates on all aspects of the community to keep us informed. When we had to transition my mother to memory care the staff took care of everything and made the transition smooth for mom and us. When we call or visit the facility everyone is so kind and respectful to the residents and family members and it appears to me that all staff members know the residents personally. My family has a great level of comfort knowing that our mother is well taken care of at Arbor Terrace.

My name is Sylvia and I moved to Arbor Terrace Crabapple just over six months ago. I lived in upstate New York for years until moving to Florida with my husband who has now passed. My sons wanted me to move closer to them and after touring many communities they decided Arbor Terrace Crabapple was the best. I like living close to them and Im happy they chose this community for me; though Id like to be living at home in New York I know that it isnt safe anymore. I love the people here. People like Pat in engagement and the other residents are all extremely friendly. The tall blonde manager is very sweet. I think the community is decorated beautifully! I feel like Im living in a nice hotel with housekeeping and all of my meals delivered to me. My sons liked that it was established with a great reputation. I know my sons liked that the staff had been here for years and the turnover was low. My favorite part of the community is the courtyard. I walk there every day to look at the flowers and the food is also nice. I hope this helps anyone else looking to move to arbor terrace. I would definitely recommend it!

As a husband of one of their residents, i have spent many hours daily, at Evergreen, as a matter of fact, i honestly believe that they wished i would miss a day. During those many days and hours i observed, intermingled and associated with staff and residents. Additionally i have held many positions in many parts of the country and have had two tours of active duty in the Navy during my ninety plus years on this earth.
