My husband and I moved to St. George Village in December 2023 from southwest Georgia. We wanted to live in a Catholic community where we would also have better access to medical care as well as the Atlanta airport. Our move was flawless because of the wonderful support we had from the marketing team throughout our time on the waitlist and on our actual move in date. We have met so many interesting people in the other residents and the care partners here are just what they are called--very caring. We are so pleased we chose St. George Village!

There were many people in St. George Village involved with my move from New York several months ago. The first is Dawn Zawoysky, the Sales Manager, who helped my daughter and me from the very beginning - meeting with my daughter many times in Roswell and then following through when I was able to visit St. George Village. With much appreciation I had my first new friend and she is delightful. As is the practice for new people moving into an apartment, my apartment was gutted before my move. With Dawn and my daughters' help, I was able to select wall colors and flooring for all rooms, have new kitchen appliances, chandeliers, bathroom fixtures and much more! The day after the movers left, I was fortunate enough to have two important women visit me. We talked for a few minutes and then they proceeded to empty and remove most of my huge boxes, hang many of my pictures, and put my lamps and decorations on my tables. These women were professionals. Now it has been several more months since I have lived in my new home and I absolutely love it. The residents here are very friendly and the employees are ready to help you whenever needed. Some employees have even been here almost 20 years! The perfect place for me to live was definitely St. George Village. I truly have been blessed. Dawn made sure I had all the information I would need to get involved in the activities, answered all my questions and introduced me to my lovely mentor. When I first arrived at St. George Village, I was immediately impressed with the landscaping. This landscaping crew works daily to maintain St. George Village taking care of the flowers, bushes, trees, lawns... It is always picture-perfect. The beautiful courtyard in St. George Village can be seen from all of the main floor hallways. It has many wooden benches ready for the residents and their friends so they can enjoy one another's company. There is a great walking trail from the courtyard which follows the spectacular lake. On this walking trail residents with their friends can stop and play Bocce Ball on a regulation size court. I have enjoyed playing this with my grandchildren. A few feet beyond is a putting green which my grandson has enjoyed many times. Following the walking trail, you will pass the individual gardens where residents have planted vegetables and/or flowers. Then it's on to a well designed wooden gazebo. This is complete with a wooden bench where you can sit and relax and appreciate the view. Of course enjoying the fresh air and meeting and exchanging stories with other residents is always a plus. I have taken this walking trail many times and will continue. I love the outdoors! Now a little about a few of the many indoor opportunities that I have enjoyed. There is a wonderful Fitness Center with new State-Of-The-Art Fitness Machines and a terrific Coordinator. Twice a week Tai Chi is offered with additional time for both Healthy Heart Chair Cardio and Strengthening using Therabands. The instructor is a Tai Chi Master. In the auditorium there is Line Dancing with a lovely qualified instructor. Friday night is movie night with many good and new movies. In the auditorium there are also concerts, fashion shows... even a Singalong with a professional pianist. A weekly calendar is placed in all residential mailboxes informing residents of the activities scheduled including date, time and location. St. George Village is a well organized up-scale senior retirement community in an absolutely beautiful location. I am very proud and delighted that I am a resident here.

We moved into St. George a little over 3 months ago. We made our decision after visiting other highly rated senior homes near our residence in Dunwoody Georgia. The other homes were nice but St. George seemed to fit our needs better. We wanted a facility where we could enjoy life while healthy but also a place that could take care of us when/if we needed assisted living and/or memory care. The buy-in was expensive but 75% of it will be returned to our family estate when we pass on. Also St. George management staff were open to making the renovations we sought in our new apartment. We also liked the small chapel that is available 24 hours a day with daily mass and services. The menus in the dining room were very attractive and the many facility plusses included a large indoor heated swimming pool with scheduled water aerobics and related balance training, a hot tub, spacious grounds with well-maintained gardens and a small lake to walk around, a library, resident transportation, indoor parking, a well stocked gym for workouts, and available coaching and physical therapy services. After 3 months we are well pleased with our decision and I am constantly amazed by how happy our neighbors are and by the total lack of complaining. It was a great decision to come here! We were not looking for a Senior Living community, but a friend suggested that we visit St. George Village. We had visited friends and relatives in other facilities and were curious to see how SGV was different. From the moment we entered St. George Village we knew it was a very special place. It was warm, welcoming, and just the right size. Our tour of SGV changed our minds about senior livings facilities. It is situated on the most beautiful grounds. Peaceful gardens surround the buildings complete with a lake, putting green, walking trails, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature. The public areas are bright and comfortable with abundant room for activities. An indoor pool anchors a state of the art fitness facility. There is also a chapel where mass is held daily for those who care to attend. The apartments are very thoughtfully planned out. From the smallest to the largest they are well appointed and maintained. We also liked that it was a CCRC [continuous care retirement community] that starts with independent living and continues to assisted living and skilled nursing; as well as memory care if needed. We then decided to visit and tour other facilities with similar business plans. Although we visited many other places we kept comparing all of them to SGV. We also found the food was the best of all the places we visited. We soon realized it was the place for us. We were delighted when an apartment we wanted came available. We have now been living in SGV for three months. We found that the real magic of SGV is the people. Everyone from residents, business staff, food services, fitness instructors, household, maintenance, ground crew and caregivers are warm friendly and helpful. There is definitely a Spirit here that makes this a very special place for Senior Living.

From our first phone call Dawn Zawoysky was extremely knowledgable about the life plans, the community and the spirit of St. George Village. She was patient and kind to schedule a visit within our time frame. It was no surprise that when we toured she was exceptional at what she does. She quickly removed all of our objections and barriers and met us where we were in this stage of life. We were extremely impressed with her professionalism. The community is beautiful and the lake is postcard worthy. The residents were welcoming. My in-laws immediately knew they had found a place they wanted to call home. We are grateful for Dawns authenticity, her ability to engage, and her compassion for others. Her passion in making us understand the difference in St. George Village sets this community apart.

I have been blessed to be a resident of St George Village for the past three years. I was able to bring my beloved pet, Lulu, with me when I moved here. It has been wonderful to maintain my independence in a place where support is always available if I need it. The staff here is warm and helpful. They are like family. After almost 2years here number one is still the interesting, caring residents. Our visit to St.George was an exceptional experience. Making life altering decisions like this is not ever easy. Our discernment experience have been punctuated with kindness, thoughtfulness, full discovery, and immense knowledge and mastery. At the center of this experience is Dawn Zawoysky. From an outside looking in you’d think this complex is up to par but do NOT be fooled. There are people at the leasing office that are just as nasty as the bugs they have outside! They charge for pest control monthly but will have mosquitos attacking you outside by 5pm! Make sure you have a car wash membership before you consider living here because the trees WILL dirty up your car every other day and that’s a promise. Of course the hot tub is never working and they are know to have financial errors on your account so be mindful and careful. Seems like they’re more money hungry than fixing actual problems and concerns in the complex. Need I not forget to mention the gym is nice and spacious until kids get let in by a cracked door to be intimate. CRAZY! Don’t let a 10 minute golf course ride convince you to stay at a poor service place like this. Moreover the maintenance does not speak English and broke the bath pipe even more than when he can to fix it and this was a month ago! (Is it still broken? YES!) Long story short do your research! Good luck.

A beautiful community. Spectacular grounds with walking trails, community gardens, dog park, putting green and bocce ball. Apartments are spacious with lots of light. Beautiful facility but they pushed the Covid vaccines very hard! I would not trust them from a medical standpoint. The CDC is not reliable. My grandmother had a stroke around 10 years ago. Around 4 years ago we brought her into St. George. They have always been so kind and diligent making sure all her needs were met. She is in their hospice care now and they have been so comforting and understanding of the situation. If your loved one needs extra care, I highly recommend here. They will treat them like their own.

St George Village has operated for almost 20 years serving as the home to a dear sweet friend. A continuum care facility that meets all the needs over 200 residence. Independent living, assisted living, memory care and nursing care. We have been blessed with excellent care in all divisions. Leadership is respected for their commitment and communication. SGV is clean, safe and maintains a good staffed of caring professionals. Highly recommend for your loved ones.

Moving into St George Village was like lifting a weight off my shoulders.. Free of all the responsibilities that come with living in a home. Coming here, joining different activities, helped in making new friends, All the people who work here at SGV couldn't be better, they certainly make our life easier and pleasant. My children are all happy for me and enjoy visiting. They know I made a good decision. I feel safe and comfortable. Being able to attend Mass in the Chapel and the Pool, helped me to make my decision to come here. Come join us!!

I am not from the area and do not know anyone who has lived at St. George Village but I speak at retirement communities across the country, including St. George Village. I was very impressed with the physical community but even more so with the staff. The Executive Director made a point to come and meet me personally prior to my presentation and I was very impressed by his enthusiasm for putting residents and staff first. The culture and mindset of management has a tremendous impact on the overall resident experience.
