My mom & I visited 3 different Independent Living facilities. She decided on The Summit. She was waiting on one particular unit. After a couple of calls my mom still wasn’t ready to make the big move. We were invited to the Easter activities. After the ride home she told me she was ready to make the big move. Everyone has been so kind to us on all of our visits. Even though the dining room serves meals earlier than she is used to. She finally began joining in for dinner. She is enjoying the activities that she has participated in. A big thanks to Wendy for the warm welcome she always give us when she sees us.

The Summit has been an extraordinary experience. They took such amazing care of my mother-n-law. They took an interest in her from the moment she arrived til she entered into her last days. She also raved about how they took very good care of her.

The staff here is wonderful and they have had such an affection for my Mom during her stay there. The medical, culinary and administrative staff are all accessible and very accommodating. Chris and Audrey run the front desk like real champs and have such people skills that the whole experience has been fantastic. My Mom has loved every minute at the Summit thanks to the caring staff.

Finally! What a great experience! Wendy was awesome! I have visited five other communities for my aunt who lives in Casselberry, and she finally felt like she can call the Summit of Winter Garden her new home. Wendy was beyond gracious, and answered all of our questions with sincere care and concern for my aunts current needs. I finally feel relief in knowing that she will have a safe place to live and thrive at the Summit of Winter Garden.

I have lived at The Summit of Winter Garden for two years now. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I enjoy sharing all my craft skills with my friends. I teach the card-making classes. I'm glad I live here as the location is convenient to my daughter and her husband and I enjoy my life here.

My brother is not an easy person to satisfy and yet he has settled in nicely here. The place is spotless! The staff is very kind and understanding. The look of the facility is very homey and sunny. And the apartments are lovely. The food has been a challenge for my brother but they keep trying to accommodate him and this is all I can ask. As a caretaker, I will say that I am very satisfied.

I’ve been here since the community opened almost six years ago and I’m loving every moment of it. My daughter found it before it was even opened. I’ve been very happy here keeping very busy which is so important. The staff are phenomenal and friendly. The residents are all also friendly and welcoming. I have been an Ambassador since we started the program which is beneficial for new residents. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!

I have lived at Summit for over three years. The building is open, light and cheerful. The staff is truly compassionate. I have had an opportunity to meet diverse and friendly people. Each of us has a story and strong friendships are forged. If I have concerns, Edwin has been open and thoughtful in his response. I could make a list of all the supportive people who are employed but one must experience it themselves.

After touring the Summit of Winter Garden, I must confess that I was greatly impressed. The building was clean, aesthetics were beautiful, staff was extremely friendly and residents appeared very happy. Wendy the community outreach person was very friendly, helpful and provided no pressure as I have found touring other communities. I liked the fact that they had an in-house therapy company on-site that would be extremely beneficial and convenient if needed. After touring numerous communities in the Winter Garden area I must confess that this was the most impressive.

After visiting numerous Assisted Living Facilities in the area, we selected The Summit of Winter Garden for Mom. It is a beautifully decorated facility, both interior and exterior. If we are not enjoying one of the many indoor activities organized by Marie and her fun staff, then we are walking around the lake and enjoying the fresh air or sitting in the pool/courtyard area. Edwin Perez, Executive Director and Sophia Young, Wellness Director do a great job managing the facility and are communicative and caring. The chef and the dining room staff provide tasty food with a variety of choices and are attentive to every need. The Resident Assistants are patient and most have a caring attitude and go above and beyond. I rest easy knowing Mom is taken care of.

Alot of people I know, including myself, find themselves looking for assisted living as a result of a sudden realization that their loved one could use a little more assistance with everyday tasks. It's hard to know what questions to ask even after doing much research on the internet. Then factor in mom telling you she won't move. Wendy, the Community Relations Manager , toured Mom and myself. The building is beautiful and everyone we saw looked happy and healthy. Wendy showed so much compassion and was so knowledgeable . Mom is now a resident ! It is so comforting to know my Mom is safe, cared for and happy. She says she's home.

Helpful staff that really care, friendly residents, beautiful and clean facility and grounds, frequent live music, and 24/7 security are just some of what makes this a great place. The pool, fountains, and courtyard are beautiful. As a family member of a resident, I have been impressed so many times that staff truly go out of their way to get to know and help residents and visitors.

What a beautiful community! We were amazed from the moment we walked in and saw the beautiful pool and all the amenities. The first time we visited, there was someone playing the piano in the lounge area with a lot of residents enjoying and having fun. We had a good feeling that this was the right place and it has been.

Incredibly thankful for this community. It’s welcoming. It’s family. Brooke and the team put all of the families at ease while we all waited to see what path Hurricane Dorian would take. The staff really stayed calm and collected. The residents and the families received constant updated information and it was all delivered in such a calm way. I knew my mom would be safe and I knew that the Sonata West team would embrace these residents-our beloved family members-and keep them safe.

My Mom-in-law just settled in here a month ago. The employees here- from the housekeepers, wait staff to the front desk, are all so kind and friendly. The meals and activities are first-rate and best of all, the residents in the independent living section are very welcoming. I'm so glad she's close by!

My third time at the West Orlando Meetup Group at the Sonata West facility and it is great! Excellent venue with tons of amenities. I met a few residents and they seem to love the place.

My parents moved in over a year ago and they are thriving and loving every minute! They are part of Independent Living and with all their activities and projects they are kept quite busy and are very happy. Sonata West is a clean, beautiful, and inviting environment. You can feel it right when you walk in the front door. There are lots of activities and amenities to enjoy. Before she passed, my mother lived in a substandard independent living facility for 9 years in cold and gloomy Illinois where only one or two staff members really took an interest in her well-being. How I wish we had known about Sonata West and had been able to move her here where it's warm and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. They have even allowed me to use their game room for a once-monthly meeting I have with professional colleagues in the area. If you or a loved one is considering moving to Sonata West, you will really enjoy it!

Navigating the senior care and relocation world is not easy. After months of research and visiting facilities we settled on Sonata West and Serenades for my in-laws. After moving them in from out-of-state they immediately felt at home and settled into an active and engaging community in what I call first class senior accommodations. The team at both facilities are well trained and take excellent care of my in-laws. We visit them almost daily and have never been surprised by something being out of place or not right.

We recently felt the need to move my mother from her ALF. She resisted at first until we persuaded her to have a look at Sonata West. We had not been there 30 minutes and she wanted to put her deposit down for the apartment. The place is beautiful and spacious. They have thought of everything anyone could need. The dining area is spotless, beautifully set for meals, and the delicious smell of the food was an added bonus. With all of the wonderful amenities and nice setting the biggest plus would have to be the professionalism and kindness from the entire staff. Everyone has been happy and pleasant to meet and greet my mother by her name, always checking to make sure she understood where things were and how to find activities. I must add that we met Colleen the first day and she has truly been the best guide for our move in process. Communication from Colleen and Katie has helped us tremendously! As a family, we are all thrilled with the decision to move our mother to Sonata West.

Since our family found the need to move Mom from another local facility, we stumbled upon this superb environment -- Sonata West, Winter Garden. They continue to surpass our expectations & meet Mom's every need with a caring, loving approach. I am grateful to The staff at Sonata; their compassion for the elderly is apparent in every capacity; they are angels in disguise. I highly reccomend Sonata West to anyone seeking a facility for their loved one!!!

You could describe Sonata West as being beautiful, inviting, eventful and calming. But the real beauty of Sonata is their Management and Staff. This brand new Senior Resort can boast of superb surroundings filled with truly caring staff and an exciting mixture of amiable and friendly seniors. Add to that an inventive, compassionate on the scene Chef and you get a never ending parade of tasty, nutritious dishes that charm the palate. Activities are constantly being produced in a wide variety of venues so that literally there is something for everyone. The motto "At Your Service" is always on the lips of the staff and in their actions. Written by resident now living there.
