We were very blessed to have been recommended this facility for our aunt! The level of care, communication, and knowledge this facility has is impeccable! At first we were very nervous about even considering a community for her, especially with some of the less than ideal situations we have heard from some communities. But after this experience and seeing how genuinely happy our aunt is, we would recommend this community to anyone who asks! Our mother is now also at a neighboring community, "Serenades at Longwood", so we would recommend considering that location as well!

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was nothing but impressed with the Saranades! Looking for care for my father, I felt like this was the most impressive facility next to him being home. The director, Linda Mena, was amazing and answered all my questions and concerns about transitioning my father. What was also most impressive was how clean this facility was, how spacious and spotless the rooms were, and NO odors! Every detail was in mind so my dad would feel comfortable and in a home like setting. I cant say enough about the staff and this beautiful facility if you are looking to transition your loved one into an assisted living home.

I am proud to say that Serenades at West Orange extended the best care possible for my husband. This Memory Care facility provided the most wonderful homelike atmosphere for both of us. The caregivers and the administration always treated us with the kindness of a family. Rick never was ignored or wanted for anything. They also comforted me when I found his decline, overwhelming and gave me hugs (before the pandemic.) I thank everyone there for making us feel as if we were the most important family in their care.

Posting this for my Mother:We were lucky to be part of the Serenades family for 2 years.Serenades was the second facility we looked at (of many) and nothing else compared. When we narrowed our selection down to a final two, we took my Husband to see both facilities. The Serenades staff (Director, Nurses, CNAs, and even the Chef) were warm and welcoming. During our tour of the facility we met a family member of one of the residents. She also had many wonderful things to say about the staff, facility and level of care her husband received.The facility is smaller than most, which I felt was beneficial to my husband. The ambiance is warm, cheerful and immaculately kept (much like a home). My Husband was well cared for and felt at home at Serenades. Everyone was friendly, caring and compassionate to us and to our entire family, who visited often.Sadly, my Husband passed about 2 months ago from complications of his Parkinsons Disease.On behalf of myself and my family we want to thank everyone at Serenades for their kindness, compassion and love.God Bless you all.We are grateful. The staff here go out of their way to make residents feel at home here. They try to keep them active with activities and games, etc. Betty is the best! I love her sweet and fun nature and how she makes my mom feel special.

I would absolutely recommend Serenades and Sonata, their interest in helping the Guests clearly is more important that just filling rooms... Last week one of my clients asked me if I was familiar with Senior living facilities because they were looking for a place for his Mother-in-law; I immediately called Katie Wood. Now, you would think Katie would try to entice him to visit the properties that she handles solely, but what she did instead was to educate my client on what to look for in a property from staffing to amenities to operations etc. My client was absolutely blown away by her expertise and although Katies properties are about an hour further than where he would like his Mother in law to be, he told me he would seriously take a look at Serenades and Sonata solely because of Katies honesty, caring nature and expertise. Kudos to Katie Wood...

Serenades Sonata at West Orange has been the BEST memory care facility for my mother. From the Directors to the Staff, you wont find more competent, compassionate and enthusiastic care. Additionally, Serenades coordinates with the best community support team, offering everything from complete medical care, to personal care, to activities. And also notable is that the facility is laid out in small communities that create a homey and manageable environment that facilitate residents supervision. Im so much more comfortable having Mom here at Serenades West Orange than I was at a previous facility. The staff at Serenades communicates well with me and Im confident that Mom is receiving consistent, excellent care. Did I mention that my grandchildren are happy to visit their great grandma in the beautiful, playful garden with bubbling fountains... or that mom loves the food here?

My mother has been a resident for several years. I am continuously impressed by the caring staff. They learn each resident and tailor care to each one. I cant imagine my mother living in a better setting. She loves the staff and activities. I can rest comfortably knowing she is well cared for.

You better believe I recommend this place to anyone who has a loved one with memory issues . I myself worked here and know the Executive Director and the CEO , it is the State of the Art and they focus on not just care but the extending your loved ones life by enhancing their motor skills and thing you can think of these folks do! Art like no other , IPads yes ! iPads people , crafts , baking singing dancing parties activities around the clock . Family meals , it is NOT A NURSING HOME . Just check it out for yourself , cant hurt . Im only sorry I had to have surgery and could no longer work there

This is an amazing place to live. The staff here provide excellent care to the residents. They are attentive and make sure the residents needs are met. The staff from management down to the employees are very compassionate and it shows. This is a beautiful building that makes the residents feel right at home. If I had to live in a facility serenades by sonata west orange is where I would want to be!

Navigating the senior care and relocation world is not easy. After months of research and visiting facilities we settled on Sonata West and Serenades for my in-laws. After moving them in from out-of-state they immediately felt at home and settled into an active and engaging community in what I call first class senior accommodations. The team at both facilities are well trained and take excellent care of my in-laws. We visit them almost daily and have never been surprised by something being out of place or not right.

My Mother has been in their care since 2016 and I couldnt be happier. The staff is not only well trained and take care of her needs but treat her with loving respect. The facility is lovely with a comfy home feeling. They have memory related activities all thru the day seven days a week. My husband and I can come see her any time day or night and the staff is always available to address any questions or concerns that we might have. The decision to entrust the care of a loved one to someone else is never a easy one but I feel beyond blessed to have found Serenades West Orange.
