My mom has been at Somerset House for one month, and our family could not be more grateful for the care she receives. From the very first day, our initial impression of the facility was wonderful. Gretchen, Linda, and Nurse Tracy were our first points of contact, and they immediately put our hearts at ease. Over the course of the month, we have come to know Nurse Tracy and Nurse Lynn even better, and both are truly lovely, attentive, and caring. We have also come to know the caregivers, all of whom show compassion, patience, and genuine concern for Mom’s comfort and dignity. Every administrator, nurse, caregiver, cleaner, launderer, meal‘prep team member, and chef has played a part in relieving my heart and bringing our family comfort. The first couple of weeks were the hardest for me, as I had always been the one making sure Mom was cared for. But Somerset House has shown me, day after day, that she is in the safest and very best place she can be. For those you love, this is never an easy decision, but I am thankful to God every day that we found Mom’s safe place at Somerset House.

Can't say enough about the level of care provided to my Dad during a very difficult time. Everyone was genuine, sincere and focused on making sure he was taken care of. This depth of quality and care extended through the clinical (nurses and aides), dining, cleaning and administrative staff. We visited and saw a lot of places and nothing came close to Somerset House.

So grateful for how kind and attentive staff was the minute I walked in. Good cleanliness and during the holidays I love how intentional they are with activities and outings and making it such a festive place. The floor staff is so intentional and loving towards the residents and the food has been super yummy. Beyond grateful for somerset house and all that they are doing within the community!!

I am here for just over a week, while my wife is getting a break from looking after me. I am partially disabled and she is my usual care giver. All the staff have been very helpful in getting used to me, so I feel very comfortable here. Also the food is very well done - high quality, and interesting. I thank all for my time here. Stewart.

Everyone there was friendly and professional. We met with Ronda who spent quite a bit of time with us answering all our questions and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. My mother liked everyone and this place is at the top of her list!

Ronda and Somerset House really came through for my family at an emotionally challenging time. My father had just suffered a stroke and my mom was also in need of care. Ronda calmed us down and came up with an amazing solution for both of my parents. We are forever grateful! The facility is bright and cheerful and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Rhonda was wonderful in working with our urgent needs to have my FIL accepted and moved in to his room. The staff was attentive with each of the residents. The room is a beautiful space with room for a living space not just a bed room.

It's with great pleasure that I write this review for this exceptional, stellar, and absolutely wonderful facility! If I could give them 10 stars..I certainly would! My mom, who is in the late stages of Alzheimers disease, was transferred here from a local skilled nursing facility last month. Within the first 8 hours I noticed a discernable difference in my mom's affect. She became more responsive, awake, and cooperative. The Somerset House staff are absolutely amazing.. accommodating,attentive gracious, and welcoming, not only for the patient, but the family as well.The CNA to patient ratios are absolutely outstanding ,feasible, appropriate and allowing for attentive care for my mother...and half the ratio of what her previous skilled nursing facility allocated..The Somerset House staff's attention to detail is certainly stellar and second to no other skilled nursing facility that I know of. I know, as I am a retired Registered Nurse, who worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Cleveland Clinic hospital for 15 years. The facility is clean, warm, and welcoming. For the past several months I have visited a friend at Somerset House, and I've been impressed with the facility, but more importantly, the employees I've had the opportunity to know. People and caring make the place, not a pretty foyer or great wallpaper, and three individuals I'd like to recognize are: Gabby, Shaina, and Shawn ... professional and personable, and caring!

Somerset House has a great staff dedicaded to the health care of their patiences. I know several of their employees and I can guarantee they do their job with professionalism, passion and dedication. If you need a place where someone can take care of your love one, do not doubt to talk to the General Manager and set the perfect care for your relative. We all are growing old and one day, we will need those hands to help us with our daily activities. I definitively recommend Somerset because they try very hard to improve every day.

After suffering a stroke, our father moved to Somerset House in January. Our family could not be more pleased with our experience there. First and foremost, the staff is remarkable. They are fun, respectful, professional, creative and loving. Dad enjoys the food immensely, his room and the living areas are clean, and the staff works hard to keep the residents active. They have fun trivia mornings, exercise class, bowling, painting, and the ever popular, bingo. The residents win "Somerset money" to purchase fun items at the auction held every few months. Family members are invited to join the residents for meals, they offer brunches for everyone, and a monthly cocktail reception to address concerns. Recently under new management, Somerset House, and the exceptional staff, have greatly impressed our family. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing facility and staff in our community. With a Administrator like Jennifer Courtney and her awesome team by her side Anteria and Caitlyn your family members would be in good hands. This facility is a clean friendly environment for your loved ones. They have great cooks an amazing staff of nurses and CNAs. Who will love your loved ones like their very own.
