The memory care was recently renovated, with bright colors, large spacious activity and dining area. One my favorite spots was the secure patio area with an inviting gazebo, large umbrellas and elevated planters for gardening! The assisted living area was just as spacious with multiple areas for activities and lounging. I loved seeing the residents play life-sized scrabble, where they had huge tile letter they put on the floor! The energy in the room was contagious - to everyone - staff, residents and visitors!

I have nothing but great things to say about the Colonnade of Northdale. I have been in many buildings in my profession and the team of people in this building are OUTSTANDING! The empathy, care, compassion is something I truly appreciate as I have a mother in memory care elsewhere. I often think if I had the opportunity to move my mom to Florida - Colonnade of Northdale Memory Care would be her new home. Attentive, caring and knowledgeable staff - all of them. Caregiver to patient ratio is excellent. Experienced specialized therapy available. Colonnade Northdale staff excels at open communication with compassion and understanding, particularly in the face of difficult decision making. Grateful our Mom is home with such wonderful care.

What an incredible experience I had with the Sales Team and Executive Director at a true hour of need. Michelle, Alberta and Lisa made the transition from one ALF to the Colonnade @ Northdale seamless. My parent loves being at The Colonnade. All the staff have made him feel more than welcomed, they have made him feel at home, as if he has been there forever. Liz and Sonja have been wonderful. There are more staff to recognize, but not enough time. Suffice to say, your loved one will be well cared for at The Colonnade @ Northdale. Thank you everyone.

Everyone was welcoming except one person at the front desk "N" She looked like she was sucking on lemons and was very unhelpful. Someone should give her some PR lessons or at least not put her at the front desk.

I recall visiting this place several years ago with both my folks and it was my memorable. Fast forward a few years later and it was the best choice ever. The facility as a whole is very family oriented and they care deeply about the residents, family members, and work together as a team. They literally go above and beyond in various circumstances and learn each resident well with clear communication across the board. Unlike previous communities, the one thing that strikes me the most with this community is the access to the executive director-Lisa Marie. She is a text away for questions, concerns, comments, compliments, complaints, or anything. My mother has been in memory care for over a year and she had adjusted well with the amazing supportive encouraging staff who have learned my mom well and left me in comforting, supportive ways. The recent renovation in memory care makes it feel very modern and a touch of class. Thank you for the super experience and supportive and safe environment!

This community is a blessing. The staff provide great care and genuine love for their residents. I always appreciated their contact over my mother's needs so I was able to address them quickly. The facility is well maintained, kept very clean, and doesn't smell like a clinic. They also have a ton of unique activities every day for the residents to enjoy. In my mother's time there, they even went through a major hurricane! The staff and management were stellar throughout. I'm truly thankful for the friendship and experiences they gave my mother. If you need an Assisted Living Facility, look no further.

This review is long overdue. My 85 year old mother moved in to The Colonnade at Northdale in February. Her move there was extremely stressful in that she was being released from the hospital with literally a few hours notice. Nothing had been discussed in advance. We were extremely fortune to find The Colonnade, and even more so to work with Michelle who helped us get all of the necessary paperwork completed, and guided us through everything. For the first couple of weeks, Michelle was our "go to" person for everything. And although her job is specific to sales, she was always accessible and always made sure we were talking to right person. She remained available to us until we learned who our contacts were there for a number of different services. The facility is nice, clean and very well maintained. The meals are nutritious and there are numerous activities available to the residents. Lisa Marie is in charge of all operations there, and even as "the boss", she never hesitates to step in and help with even the smallest of things. "Hands-on" specific to Lisa Marie is an understatement. My mother has become particularly close to Liz and Emily who seem to consistently go above and beyond in their attention and care of her. My guess is that both are that way with every resident, but my mother feels safe and taken care of by them. I too have a strong comfort level with them. They are always accessible to me and have often called to provide updates about whatever my mom might be doing, or how she's feeling on any given day. They (and really all of the staff I've interacted with) provide me with peace of mind that my mother is being cared for and in good hands. While the facility is upscale with many amenities, it's the staff that really makes this experience a good one for my mom. We got lucky with The Colonnade at Northdale.

I was here a few weeks back to provide Notary services to a resident and I was very impressed! It was dinner time, the food smelled great and I the place was nicely decorated. The atmosphere had a warm, cozy, homely feel to it. Everything was clean and the few residents I had the pleasure of speaking with all stated they were very happy there!

The Colonnade at Northdale has been so helpful to our family. My mother was perfectly fine 5 months ago and then she started having severe anxiety and rapid onset dementia. My sister and I struggled with what we should do as her care was too much for us to handle. We visited quite a few Assisted Living Facilities and ultimately decided on The Colonnade at Northdale. We knew from our first meeting with Diane Pagano (Director of Sales) that this was the perfect place for our mother. The decision was not easy as our mother struggled with being placed in an Assisted Living Facility. The care and concern that the ENTIRE staff has shown our family has been top notch. We are frequently communicated with about her needs and she has felt their love and support to help her with her transition. We are very fortunate that we have our mom here. I 100% recommend this community!

The environment at the Colonnade is tranquil, the decor is beautiful, and the staff is warm and attentive. The other residents are are friendly and welcoming. The food is also very good. As a younger resident I wasn’t sure if this would be a good fit, but I am so happy I chose to come to The Colonnade at Northdale. Laci, the sales director, was wonderful. She answered all my questions and made my transition smooth.

My mom has been here for 3 years. We really love this place. Lots of activities, great food, bus takes the residents shopping, restaurants, and on sightseeing rides. Mom really enjoys being here and the staff has been wonderful to her.

I’ve been living here for the past seven months. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live. The staff is very helpful and caring. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Meals are provided three times a day and the food is very good thanks to Chef Moss. There are different activities every hour throughout the day from Bingo to games and to music. There are also church services every Sunday. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that needs assisted living.

Brookdale Northdale is a wonderful facility. The leadership is outstanding in all areas. They are so caring and capable in all areas. They want to make your stay here a warm and happy stay. They are knowledgeable with a sense of warmth for you. Each resident is treated on a individual basis, making sure that their needs are for filled. This facility is run by Ms Lisa. I had been looking into an ALF down the street for my father and was getting the run around trying to get questions answered. I drove by Brookdale Northdale and decided to stop in unannounced. They were very kind and offered me a tour right then. I was impressed right away. The dining room is beautiful and the food smelled great. The entire place had a very warm cozy homey feel to it. Not like an institution where everything feels sterile. Everything was very clean and the whole place smelled nice. My father had been there over a month now and I'm still very happy with the care he's recieving. Gets his medication on time and everyone is so helpful. He's happy to call Brookdale Northdale home.

Not enough good things can be said about Brookdale Northdale. The accommodations, the food, the activities, the care programs are all top notch. Even more important, the staff is professional, caring, dedicated and kind. After a very short time, residents truly feel that they are home with their extended family. My Dad was in memory care for a brief period before returning to his home town of NY. Without question, Brookdale's warm and comforting environment prepared him and ensured a smooth transition. Our family could not be more grateful and the entire Brookdale family remains forever in our prayers.
