I frequent Sodalis a lot visiting my love one. I was very skeptical when the big change that happened in the building, however, I must say the new ED is amazing. I’ve witnessed her interaction with residents and staff and I must say, I was thoroughly surprised. The atmosphere has shifted and is beyond noticeable. I can say it finally felt good in there. Since Michelle Goodreau’s arrival in January 2025, Sodalis“Tampa has become a warm, vibrant community with so much to offer. She has built a strong and supportive team dedicated to enhancing residents’ daily lives. The calendar is full of engaging activities, including Bingo, poker, Friday Happy Hours, biweekly shopping and lunch outings, and special events like a Father’s Day Car Show, Chinese New Year dancing, and BBQs. The inner courtyard, with its putting green and shaded seating, provides a peaceful retreat for residents to enjoy. Under Michelle’s leadership, the staff has become well-trained, attentive, and genuinely caring. I’ve observed them checking in with residents to ensure no one misses the activities they enjoy. Esther, Orlando, Z, Tiffani, and Rochelle are always friendly and helpful. The med techs, too many to name, are consistently respectful, patient, and compassionate. Despite their busy schedules, they still take time to listen to residents (their needs and their stories from the past). The common areas are bright and clean without feeling sterile, while resident spaces are maintained regularly and laundry is done on time. Nick, the current chef, is unfortunately leaving, but I trust that Michelle and the Resident Council’s Food Committee will find a talented replacement who will continue offering simple favorites”like sandwiches, eggs, or hot dogs on request”alongside the posted menu. I’m grateful my parents are able to live in the Sodalis“Tampa community.

Oh my goodness...where do I start! Right from the beginning...Rochelle...Michelle...and the entire Soldalis family...and I mean they are family...has made my mom feel at home and welcomed! Mom even said she is already in love with the staff! Mom came from her home state...where she lived at least a good 60+ years in...to Florida...84 years young traveling...they took her under their wing...and has been doting on her. You can definitely see it in the other residents that live there also! The love they show these folks is amazing...and They truly listens to families and also to their "family" the residents! When I was under pressure in Arizona as my brother’s POA and he was in Florida, Sodalis Senior Living was the perfect assisted living housing for him and for me. Their responses to communications and any help I asked for my brother took a weight off my shoulders from 3000 miles away. After going through months of poor communication with 2 different short term care facilities, Sodalis became the ONLY facility I could trust in their caring for and helping my brother. They are a God send to me!!!

I highly recommend Sodalis and can attest that it is probably one of the best Assisted Living Facility in the Tampa area. It’s warm and inviting environment, friendly and professional staff, and offers a wide range of activities and social events not only for the residents but their families as well. When we were actively looking for an assisted living for Michelle she came along to see the facilities. We were looking for a place that would Michelle go WOW. We found that feeling at Sodalis. From the Welcome at the front desk to the tour, the interview and evaluation by the Staff we were treated great. Bottom line the staff sold us on Sodalis. That was near the beginning of February and that WOW feeling is still with us. No regrets.

Our family looked at many places before selecting Sodalis. The studio apartment is very nice and has proved a safe place for a dementia patient. I would love to thank all the staff and care providers in the Memory Care. Five months ago I needed a happy place for a dear friend. I had already checked on 4 other local providers and just was not happy with the staff, the facility, and location. Finally, I contacted Sodalis on Bearss in Tampa. I went for the initial visit and signed my dear friend up that day. I found the staff to be kind, attentive, and aware of all my needs. I found the facility clean, with a large room that would make it easy for me to set up her room so that it was familiar. I have not regretted the placement. She has progressed in the disease of Alzheimer's since her arrival, but now I feel she is safe in a secure location with the loving arms of caretaker's surrounding her.

I have nothing bad to say about this place, after countless efforts of my family and I trying to find my great grand pappy a forever home he can spend his last days, we found Sodalis. I knew from my first visit that this was the place I wanted him to go. He ended up passing away early in 2023. I wish I could of helped him move in here because the cafeteria was the best place I have ever been on this earth, I mean the OJ alone I had for breakfast I still am convinced they picked and hand squeezed themselves. Not only that but it wasn’t any BS microwaveable food we were having restaurant quality food for every meal, I mean they even had ice cream and I dare to say it was the best ice cream I have ever had. One morning we had eggs and my great grandpappy ate 2 plates! (A miracle to get him to eat two bites let alone two plates.) If there’s anyway to go back to this place just to eat even id do it and it’s about 5 hours away round trip. I mean seriously if I could have my great grand pappy back or their recipe book I’d say it’s a head scratcher of a decision. I’d just like to thank this incredible facility for their hard work and persistence to make a damn good dining hall. When dads old enough I told him we’re going here right away and when that day comes I will finally be reunited with my own personal heaven on earth.

This is one of the most enchanting facilities I’ve ever been too. Everyone I’ve shaken hands with has met me with a smile and everyone seems to love what they do here, it’s refreshing to see. It’s spotless, it smells amazing, they’re pet friendly but also very cautious of others and their allergies by allowing the pets solely inside the unit. Family night brings the community together and it’s a breath of fresh air. I would 10/10 recommend this facility to anyone who deems fit for the community, you won’t be disappointed!

When I first moved into Elmcroft almost 4 years ago, I really liked it. There were lots of activities, entertainment, trips to stores and restaurants, and long-time employees. Covid-19 hit the world hard, and Elmcroft did a good job of keeping its residents safe. They have, however, been having a hard time recovering since mandatory quarantine finally ended. On November 1, 2021, their management company, Eclipse, was bought out by a Texas company called Sodalis. Since then, things have continued to go downhill.. I had high hopes for the new management company’s promises to improve conditions but am quickly loosing hope. They have already broken promises and several good caring staff have left.
