Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Rude and unprofessional. Staff answer the phone but then hang up on your when you try and call back. I wouldn't trust my loved ones in these hands...

My 93 year old mother has been a resident of Angels Senior Living for the past year and a half. My family couldn't be happier with the care, love and attention the facility gives to her. Suzy and her staff are incredible not only with caring for their residents, but also working with the families to solve everyday and long term issues. The facility is beautiful and clean. The food is delicious ( I have eaten many times with mom) and the staff is highly professional and friendly. Mom has lived in 2 other assisted living centers and has had problems at each of them. I highly recommend this facility to any family member in need. Thanks Suzy!!!

If you love your loved ones do not send them here!! [Name Removed], the ED does not care about the residents. If the residents complain to staff she tells them they lie. The care is terrible, employees sit around on their phones while residents need help, sitting in wet depends, sometime with 2 on..whattt..and it's not a big deal to her. If you speak up as an employee, your gone. I do not know why this company keeps this woman as an employee. If upper management would just listen to the residents they would learn how horrible it is. They cant keep good help because of her. The residents are afraid of her. If [Name Removed] was gone, this place would be wonderful. They need someone that has empathy for our elderly, not ignore them.

Angels Senior Living at Sarasota has wonderfully personable administrators and staff that are all "Angels" in the love and care they bestow upon their residents and families! They really do practice their stance of not taking care of your loved one till the end of their days BUT rather they celebrate your loved one everyday and strive to make each day the most enjoyable experience for your loved one. They go well out of their way to make life wonderful for you and your loved one! They are wonderfully magical in helping and supporting your loved one and you while navigating the changes and emotions that come with transitioning from individual home to the family community they have. They have a variety of activities every day and encourage residents and family members to get involved but even for those that do not wish to become involved they encourage them to observe (which helps with dementia) or will make sure their interests are respected and will spend one on one time with them to listen to their thoughts or look at photo albums with them and are truly good interactive listeners of the retelling of the events of their lives. Our Dad is a retired Marine and administrator and staff alike will sit and visit with him as he goes through his photo album and recounts the events in the pictures. They are truly interested and wish to become a confidant and loved one of your loved one as they truly love them. They have a wonderfully appointed facility, take expert and loving care of all residents and strive hard to accommodate every resident and family members' personal request to make their lives as enjoyable and comfortable with it personalized to their tastes and let the residence retain some control and in charge of their lives. i.e Our Dad was use to ice cream every night after dinner and they make that happen., our Dad does not like disposable eating/drinking utensils and they make sure no matter what the event that he has washable utensils. Does not matter how big or small the preference is they bend over backwards to accommodate them. They really get to know their residents and families and interact with them addressing their needs and concerns every time they see you. Your loved one not only becomes part of the community but you do as well and your family grows with the loving team members and fellow community and members of their families. They become part of your family and give you your sense of comfort that your loved one is being loved, respected, taken care of and celebrated as you yourself would do could you be there all the time. May God bless them all always as they have blessed all of us! Our family is very pleased with the care given our mom at Angels Senior Living. She has been a resident since Feb 2020; first in the assisted living section and now over the last 5 months in the memory care section. The staff truly does seem to care about her well being. The nursing, home health, and activities staff are all excellent. They do a good job of keeping the place clean and we are also pleased with the food quality. Director Lee and her staff are very responsive to all our questions and concerns. Our family is very thankful for having our mom at Angels Senior Living.

We knew we needed better care for mom after repeated falls at another ALF. We moved mom into Angels memory care a month ago. Moving a parent from one facility to another is not easy, particularly with dimentia. Angels has shown us a strong feeling of safety and loving care. Every member of the staff displays friendliness & sincerity in what they do. The facility is BEAUTIFUL and SPACIOUS. They notice little details and really seem to know their residents. I attribute this to the management of the facility and corporation over all. A few examples include the Director, Lee Paradise coming in on a weekend day off to facilitate moms move from rehab; Sue & Synara, internal RNs are always available to review details about mom to ensure proper care inhouse & with doctors, coordinating & communicating on PT, OT & more. The day to day staff so calmly handles every residents needs. Carol the activities director makes everything seem so easy! Shout out to Erick, the inhouse maintenance man who takes care of this facility & even hung moms TV & cabinet in bathroom. (In the past, we had to pay for outside help.) If youre looking for a great place for someone to live, THIS IS IT! Thank you Angels Senior Living for setting your bar so high in running a great facility!

Angels is indeed a home for my 98 year old mother. The staff is so friendly and competent. Mother is pleased with her care. We are impressed with how quickly they respond tp the call button when she needs them. The facility itself is so fresh and lovely. It is a pleasure for mother as well as the visiting family. Angels is a great home!

My father is over 100 years old and has struggled to find purpose and joy in life. Due to the fact, that most of his friends and family have passed away. Angels has provided him a new friend group and dinner conversations that he enjoys. My father has found comfort and companionship at Angels with the residents and compassionate staff. Upon our first visit at Angels we were impressed with the large and spacious rooms. The staff treated us kindly and we did not feel pressured but were given the information we needed to make the right decision for our family.

My mom lives at Angels Senior Living and Im very happy. I love the care they provide and the location of the community. I love that Angels is locally owned and operated. In fact, I met the owner of Angels, Bobby Bennet. He took the time to meet with me and my family. I also sat down with Al Segui, the Community Executive Director and AnnMarie, the Wellness Cordinator and they are all really nice. The communication is great. They call me back quickly if I have any concerns. I feel very confident with my mother living there.

My father has lived at Angels Senior Living for more than a year and we love it here. My dad lived at home and had medical emergency and was unable to care for himself. I found Angels Senior Living and it has been and great experience. I am very relieved to have great care. The facility has kind people and newly constructed. Im very thankful my dad is there during this pandemic because I know hes safe. Instead of being isolated at home by himself, hes surrounded with friends, good meals and things to do. Thank you Angels for all you do!!

My father lost his wife and we were nervous when he moved into the community but his transition went very well. He has a new life at Angels. He has care 24 hours a day. Hes made friends and a new life at Angels. He likes the ice cream social and other events they have there. We are very happy at Angels

My mother is one of the first residents to move into Angels and I have to say she really enjoys it there. It was perfect for us because it was close to home and they offer a locked-in rate so we dont have to pay more money for an increase level of care. We love the activities there. Liana has a good heart and the devotionals are wonderful. Staff is very caring and work are to develop relationships. Were very thankful

I moved my mom here a year ago this month and she loves it here. The building is brand new and spacious rooms. Amenities are great too. Right now shes getting physical therapy to prevent mom from declining. Its close to our church which for us is a big plus. My mom loves socializing with residents and the team there is awesome!

My mom loves it there. Shes the President of the Resident Council. Whenever there are issues its resolved quickly. Angels is a brand new facility and her room looks great! The staff is kind and meets moms needs. I love the cleanliness of the building. The activities are great too. Theres always something for mom to do. We are very happy at Angels.

When I first came here I did not want to be here and I had a bad outlook but things improved as I started going to activities and through socializing things became great! I met a special person, the Activities Director Liana who is also from New Jersey and she made me feel at home. She has gone out of her way and took me and the residents thrifting which I love. I have collected some amazing paintings and so grateful for that. Maria at the front desk is very nice and helpful. I love the dance parties and entertainers that come here. May wife is getting very good care. The therapy dog is very pleasant and fun to be with. He sits on my lap and he is easy going.

I enjoy going to the classes and I like learning about history. It gives us an idea of what life is about. I like it because I learn a lot about things I dont have time to learn about before. I like all the people here. The staff is very good. They pay attention and dont mind talking to you. Its very comforting that there are people who care for you. I can go to different places. I paint and it has given me a new look on life. I can do anything and love the new friends I have made. I especially love the therapy dog that is here everyday. He makes it easier on me because I miss my dog.

My family and I wish to thank all of the team at Angels Senior Living for all of the love, care, and respect They gave Dad during the nine months he spent at Angels in Memory Care before he passed away there under the care of hospice. We found Angels to be a very cheerful, upbeat environment. The Activities Director was terrific. She always had something fun planned for all the residents, parties for every holiday, live music, games, happy hour on Fridays, movies in the large screen theater, visitation by kids from the local elementary school, and her own therapy dog she brought in every day for the residents to cuddle. The head nurse was outstanding. She quickly caught every change in Dads condition, and arranged the proper treatment immediately. If the Doctor ordered a new medication , she would go pick it up herself if we couldnt get there right away. Amazing dedication! The aides in Memory Care were thoughtful, and always made a effort to accommodate Dads needs and wishes. The last week before Dad passed, even though he was very weak, he badly wanted to get out of bed. So hospice sent over a special chair for him, and the aides got him out of bed. The nurse sent me a picture of him with the biggest smile on his face! A picture I will always treasure. One more thing we would like to mention, a day before Dad passed, on our daily visit, we found the Angels executive director sitting with him. He told me he didnt want Dad to be alone. That meant so much to us and we wont ever forget all of these acts of kindness shown by All the staff at Angels. Thank you all so much.

I am a resident in the facility. The staff is responsive. The food is very good, activities are interesting and fun. We go to interesting places. The activities range from painting, to learning about the states. The staff is respectful and friendly and try to help one another.

Searching for the right place for your loved one is a very difficult task! You search high and low and pray that you make the right choice for them! From the moment I walked into Angels and was greeted by Maria, with her welcoming smile to Lori showing me around but not being pushy about it! The nurse AnnMarie being very attentive to the residents and not faltering to answer questions from the families to make them feel at ease! The cook, Jeff, always has a smile, and makes delicious meals! With my father having dementia, I need to make sure I felt that it was a safe, clean, caring, open environment for him! I wanted some place that he would enjoy! Liana and Paige, the activites ladies, do a wonderful job with great ideas so that the residents dont get bored! Things from having music, paint, coloring pictures, horse shoes, and bringing animals in for pet therapy! All this is important for the quality of life! The CNA make sure my dad is clean, and wash his bedding regularly! They talk with him and try to understand where he is at in his head and world! They redirect when any issues arise without being aggressive! I have never found a staff member here that did not care! I would highly recommend Angels if you are looking for a great memory unit for your loved one, or even just a assisted living! Thumbs up to you Angels for caring!
