My mom has been at Brookdale for a week and already calls it home. This is because of the AWESOME staff there. We looked at many places and knew this was the place for our Mom. The staff are extremely caring and always ready to help. My mom said, on the second day there, she would like to stay at Brookdale forever. We are so happy that she loves Brookdale as much as we did! We are thrilled for Mom.

My mother was a very demanding person and this Community did a great job of meeting her needs. Christina and Crystal always go way over and above to find solutions, and they deeply cared for her well-being which was a relief. My mom attended activities, social hours and even went on a couple of outings, which was huge for her. They are diligent on keeping the place up and cleaning up after residents on a consistent basis, laundry and housekeeping are consistent as well. Any obstacles ever face, were solved graciously. I would highly recommend this community. My mother would say, its the next best thing to being at home, and for myself and siblings, gave us the freedom to enjoy our own personal time without worry for my mom.

The reviews on Brookdale Port Charlotte really didnt give justice to our experience. Knowing nothing about assisted living and being faced with a difficult decision to move our loved one, their sales counselor took a huge weight off of our shoulders. Compassion, patience and consistency is what we have experienced from beginning to end. They care about their residents and want to make a difference in their lives. If something isnt working, I guarantee, theyll make it work. Our loved one has been living there for months and is doing better than we ever hoped, and that is solely because of their staff.

We made the difficult decision to move my ma into assisted living, and visited Brookdale Port Charlotte 3 times. We had meals and attended an activity. We were very impressed. This staff demonstrated what we want for ma. We spoke to other residence (some that came from other communities) and all had good things to say. Management seems to listen and act on their requests, involve them in meals, activity/outing plans. They even started activities that residents requested. Flexibly is what we saw! The attention to care was evident. We met with their sales manager, who was always responsive and helped us with va benefits and bridge loan options. No pressure, all compasssion and assistance, which the entire family appreciate. We did not experience that at other places. There is so much to consider when making this leap, and we must have looked every where. I can say without reservation Brookdale Port Charlotte it unique. Smaller single story, very clean, well manicured, and peaceful. You can tell these peopl genuinely care for their residents.

Just got off the phone with my Great Aunt who is a resident at Brookdale. She had just had her lunch and was raving about the food, she just loves the biscuits with butter and all of the delicious meals. She says that she enjoys how relaxed it is there and is very cosy just like home. The staff are kind and she feels well taken care of. Thank you Brookdale 😉
