We would encourage anyone interested in an independent living community to put Coral Oaks at the top of their list. Move in sooner, not later, so that you can enjoy all the great activities, no cooking, and maintenance free living. We have now been residents of Coral Oaks for two years and are so happy with our decision to move here. The staff members are wonderful and there is a genuine sense of community among the residents.

I have had several of my clients move in to Coral Oaks over the years. When my parents were finally ready, we checked out the rooms and facility in more detail and chose to make the move. It has been several years now and we are about to move over to the assisted side soon. I’m not even considering any other place. Coral oaks is a well run, super friendly place. The management does a superior job and picks staff that really seem to enjoy their jobs. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Beautiful facility with friendly and attentive staff. I was moving my Aunt in during Hurricane Ian. The staff was very accommodating for residents coming from other facilities coming in temporarily as Coral Oaks is roughly 70ft above sea level so it was much safer there than staying in lower lying areas. Aside from that. Food is good and staff are very polite. I would recommend this facility for any family member concerned for their aged relatives.

My mom and her husband have lived here several months now. It is a beautiful facility with tons of extra perks: lovely park area, dog park, happy hour, beauty salon, church services, and movie nights. Not to mention weekly housekeeping and two delicious meals a day. We visited the pool this weekend and it was great. The maintenance men are always happy to help with hanging pictures and adjusting furnishings. I feel like they are both well-attended-to, safe, and happy at Coral Oaks. I couldn’t be happier with the facility.

This was the perfect move for my 94 year old active mom! No more cooking or cleaning and more time to join in fun activities and meeting new friends! Super clean and friendly facility!

My husband and I moved here several months ago after we sold our home. It has been quite a transition after living “on our own” for all 60 years of our marriage. But, at this time in our life, Coral Oaks is the place to be. Our apartment is lovely and we feel at home. I especially enjoy the pool and other activities planned by the staff. My husband is fortunate that physical therapy is available right here at Coral Oaks in the well-equipped gym. Sometimes I miss cooking but not very often . The meals here are enjoyable and, most of the time, are very good. We appreciate the staff all the way from administration, maintenance and dining to our housekeepers and how hard they all work to make Coral Oaks the place to be. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the activities staff. What a great job they do! Happy Hour with live music! (With a special shout out to Rush!) Bottom line I give Coral Oaks 4 stars. There are a few areas that need improvement but they are aware and are working hard to make things better. I expect to move the rating up to 5 stars very soon.

Researched several independent living facilities in the Tampa area. After several comparisons Coral Oaks always came out on top. Since moving here I find that it was a good decision. The people are friendly and the staff is very courteous and efficient. Many activities to help you keep active. Great place to retire to.

Words cannot even express the gratitude my family and I have for the amazing care that Coral Oaks staff are providing to ensure the safety and health of the residents. My mother has resided on the independent living side for several years now and has always had positive things to say. Both of my aunts followed her there. And now going through COVID-19, the staff at Coral Oaks have taken exceptional measures to ensure our loved ones are safe and secure. The transparency is amazing. They are quick to provide family members with updates. The administration staff are always quick to return phone calls. They were even quick to accommodate us for a drive by birthday celebration for my mother. Thank you Coral Oaks for taking such good care of my mother and keeping all the residents safe.

They do a great job with my grandfather. They did a fantastic job with my grandmother until she unfortunately passed. Piece of mind that my grandfather is here.Edit- grandfather passed 7, 2, 19 very accommodating and understanding and checking on the well being of especially my dad. Kim over in assisted living is wonderful. Will always be grateful the last years of my grandparents lives were spent here.

My Mother in Law has been an independent resident at Coral Oaks for about 4 years. Words cant express how thankful we are that she is there. Coral Oaks has the most incredible staff. Management, food servers, housekeepers, support staff, etc, are all the most pleasant, helpful, caring, patient, kind people Ive ever seen. My Mother in Law truly loves each and every one of them, to me, that speaks volumes. Coral Oaks provides wonderful meals, parties, activities and church services. Since Covid-19 has become part of our daily lives I cannot say enough about Coral Oaks attention to keeping every resident safe. I was concerned going into the shut down how it would affect Mom being isolated from almost everything. Coral Oaks has made this entire experience as pleasant as it could be. Mom is in great spirits, healthy, happy and most importantly safe. Every staff member has sacrificed in their own lives happily to keep their residents as safe as they can be, that is how wonderful Coral Oaks is. If there was a 10 star button to push, we would.

I was lucky enough to visit Coral Oaks for the first time with my grandma when she was deciding on an assisted living home. What sticks out the most is how many of their employees had been there for many years! I believe a place that treats their employees well will also treat their residents, customers well. It seems like a wonderful place to work and its definitely a wonderful place to live. My grandma is thriving and enjoys all the social activities. Theyre doing an excellent job with the Covid19 outbreak and are taking precautions to keep their residents safe and happy. I couldnt ask for a better place to take care of my grandma. We always enjoy visiting there when were in town. It feels like a nice hotel when you enter the building! They really care about their residents and go above and beyond to help!

We just moved my mom in here. I cant say enough about the process and the staff. Everyone has been so helpful and supportive at a challenging time. Its a beautiful facility. My mom loves her new apartment. The food is excellent. I think the people are the best part though. Every single staff member weve dealt with has been absolutely wonderful.

Nice place for older people to live. They have the dining room set up so everyone can eat together if they choose too. Clean pool area great location easy accessible.

IRMA - I know you put a lot of effort into caring for your residents during the storm and I think that is wonderful. I am glad the 10-15 foot storm surge for the Tampa area didnt materialize and it all turned out well. In future, it might help to have more information about evacuation zones and regular updates on the website for worried family, like other places do. CBS was posting dire predictions specifically about Palm Harbor.

Great place to live and to work. All staff are polite and helpful. Management is awesome ! Im a former employee and miss working with everyone. They make you feel at home. Each department is on the ball all the time.
