Our dad resided at Arden Courts/Palm Harbor for just 7 months before he passed, but in that short time it became home for him. The staff knew him and took wonderful care of him. From the moment I knocked on the door for Arden Courts of Palm Harbor in January (to receive a tour), to present, our family could not have asked for a safer and more caring home for our 92 year old father. Hidden gem, totally a unique and remarkable place for our dad. The care is exceptional, they have taken the time to get to know my dad- his likes, dislikes, and consistently treat him with respect and true care. The Health & Wellness group for Highland Lakes has a number of opportunities to visit Arden Court. This facility is exceptional compared to other facilities that we have visited. The building is constructed in a way that provides areas of interests; as well as, programs and crafts which the residents engage. The outside gardens are calming and enjoyable. My mother was a resident there for over a year and a half. From the moment she got there, She was home. Everyone treated her with love and respect. Our family could not have asked for a better place for her. The staff there were incredible and so supportive of our family as we went on this journey with her. She passed away on January 26th of this year surrounded by family and a dedicated team of Arden Court people that made sure she was comfortable till the end. I cannot say enough and I would do it all again if faced with the same decision to find a place for her.

Our mom has been a resident at Arden Courts for over a year and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. Before moving to Arden Courts, mom lived briefly at two other local memory care facilities, and the difference in her well being cannot be over stated. The building and grounds are special and designed to maximize residents' independence while ensuring safety. However, the real difference here is the people. The nursing staff and caregivers treat mom and us like family. They take the time to know her personal routine , change when she does and always meet her "where she is." Alzheimers is a very challenging disease, yet the professional staff at Arden Courts know how best to meet those challenges and preserve their residents' quality of life with dignity and respect. The senior management there is always communicative and responsive to family, the kitchen staff is caring and makes sure mom's special dietary wants are met, and the community activities they conduct cannot be beat. You won't be disappointed if you entrust the care of your loved one to Arden Courts.

Everyone from the director Lori, Maryanne, the nurses John and Tiffany, Gitri, Ruth, and even the housekeeping staff and the cook are simply the best! My husband was under their care for 2 years. The decision to place my mother in a memory care community was not an easy one to make. Fortunately, I had a team I knew well, had observed for years, and could trust. The longevity of staff at Palm Harbor Arden Courts means the world to me as it shows me the leadership there cares about its team, showing them the respect and compassion they deserve. As all caregivers know, it isn't easy to respond 24/7 to the needs of someone losing their memory or grasp on reality. My mother is an artist and was very independent and self-reliant for years before needing help at home. As those needs grew, I kept my eye on whether her quality of life was better at home or would be better in an environment like this. Now that she is living at Arden Courts Palm Harbor, I am relieved that I can rely on her 'family' there to share the components of caregiving that were getting increasingly difficult. I feel like I can be more present and in the moment with mom, have more patience, and can spend more time with her doing something meaningful to us both. Nothing is ever perfect in the caregiving journey but I know she is safe, respected, and understood at Arden Courts. She still likes to color on her own most of the time but will participate in group activities and talk to people when she is relaxed and this is wonderful for her. The aides that work with her really care about her well-being and treat her (and every resident) with the TLC she deserves. Every member of that team has my support in this selfless work they do and my true gratitude for helping me to get moments back with my mom where she is smiling, enjoying herself, laughing, and connecting with more people than she ever saw on a regular basis living on her own. I highly recommend the philosophy of care, attention to immersive activities, and living arrangement of the community at Arden Courts. If you approach the community as an extension of your own family, then you will feel connected, supported, and like you are part of a giant caregiving team. It's worth it.

My wife developed dementia earlier this year and I needed a memory care facility to take care of her. I've seen lots of facilities being a former mobile X-ray tech. Arden Courts is the best one I've seen. It's set up like a little town and the residents can move about freely. They have an excellent staff with a nurse 24hrs. Rooms are private, semi private and furnished. All the staff does an excellent job and are very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Arden Courts

Arden Courts will forever be in my heart and considered family. When my mom received her Dementia diagnosis, I was completely lost and didn't even know where to begin. The staff at Arden Courts helped me navigate through the process and helped me make some very difficult decisions. They treat you like family and truly care about their residents. They have activities, parties, and events for family and the residents. I would show up to visit my mom and sit down and paint a picture with her and the other residents, when you are there, you make yourself at home. Arden Crt Assisted Living & Memory care provided my mother with a home away from home living atmosphere. Everyone who worked there really seemed to care about the resisdents and made the extra effort to make sure they were comfortable. If I could give Arden Courts of Palm Harbor more stars I would! They maintain a good staffing ratio with many long-term staff members that truly care about the residents and treat them like family. The staff also care about us, the extended family members. They take the time to educate us and encourage us through the journey of memory loss. I appreciate how we are included in so many special activities throughout the year, not to mention the opportunity to be part of the daily life at Arden Courts. The facility is clean and calming, with a very large well tended outside walking garden. I can't begin to express how amazing this facility is. From the top-down, this is a first class Memory Care building. If you don't have time to read this whole post, the one thing you should take away is this...when I leave the facility, I have peace of mind knowing my dad is safe and well cared. MOVE IN: Maryanne took the time to answer every question my family and I had during the process. She was so caring and understood everything we were going through. She made this difficult time, very easy. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Lori is the epitome of what you want in an executive director. Communication and transparency is what we wanted and from the very beginning she demonstrated both. She is always willing to meet and chat about any and all things. She is upfront and honest and does it with professionalism and kindness. I love that she is constantly training the staff to care for people with dementia, from ways to interact to ways to manage difficult behaviors and everything in between. PROGRAMMING: Ruth took the time to learn my dad's interests and cognitive level. She works hard to include everyone, no matter their ability level. She has been able to get my dad to participate way more than we could have ever hoped for. CAREGIVERS: They are absolutely fabulous! They are tirelessly working to take care of the residents. My dad's room is cleaned every day. His laundry is done once or twice a day. Instantly, I could tell they have been trained to work with people with dementia. When I go in there, they communicate how my dad's day has been. They care for the residents as if they were their own loved ones. That speaks volumes! FOOD SERVICE: The food service coordinator, Nancy, got to know what my dad likes and doesn't like and makes sure he has an option he will enjoy. She takes time to talk the residents and always has a smile on her face. FACILITY LAYOUT: I will be honest, when I toured the facility, I thought it seemed a little out dated. But, I learned the hard way that brand new, shiny and modern doesn't equate to good care. When we were lucky enough to get my dad a room at Arden Courts of Palm Harbor, I quickly realized, the layout and furniture actually seemed to comfort my dad. I think it reminds him of our house growing up. It's cozy and less overwhelming. My dad spends way more time outside of his room here than he did in the last (new and shiny) facility he was in. In summary, you won't find a better place to take care of your loved one.

When searching for the right place that was the right fit for my mother, Arden Court consistently appeared as the number one residential facility in my area. This ranking is well-deserved and consistently validated based on my moms care and the support the outstanding staff provides to our family. From the day-to-day routines to the unanticipated events (think COVID 19, broken hips, rehabilitation needs, and hospital stays to name a few), the staff of Arden Courts has worked diligently to ensure that my mother has the highest level of care physically, mentally, and emotionally whether at their facility or off-site. Arden Courts of Palm Harbor staff treats every resident like family and I feel so lucky and blessed to be a part of their family, too.

My sister and I had been taking turns caring for our Mom in our homes when we realized that, despite our best efforts, we could no longer continue to do so. After some research, we settled on admitting her to Arden Courts of Palm Harbor. Due to the pandemic this was a difficult decision as we were placing her into a facility sight unseen, and then being unable to visit her for an unknown length of time.Maryanne and Lori walked us through the process step by step, always helpful and encouraging, very understanding of how difficult the situation was for us. They addressed our numerous questions, including the precautions they were taking during COVID.Since her admission, Mom has adjusted beautifully. Maryanne made sure Mom has a lovely, comfortable room and sent us pictures of the end result as well as pictures of Mom in activities. It is clear that the staff considers her to be an individual, not just a room number, and they understand how difficult it is for her to be away from us. They go to great lengths to cater to her special likes, such as her love of music and of ice cream. We cannot say enough good things about the kindness, personal attention (putting her hair in rollers!) and care they give Mom every day.The nurses, caregivers and administrative staff are all readily available by phone and are willing to answer questions, give updates, and arrange phone calls and FaceTime meetings for us.Even though it remains difficult to be separated from Mom, we are truly grateful for the assurance and peace of mind we have of her well being at Arden Courts of Palm Harbor.Thank you all so much,Margaret Laukaitis and Julie Bednarski

My experience with Arden Courts of Palm Harbor has not been very good. My dad currently lives there and I hope he is being cared for well, there seems to be a lot of turnover and different people working there and some are very hard to understand and do not speak English well. The phone rarely gets answered so every time I want to talk to my dad it usually takes 10-15 times of me calling before anyone answers. When they do answer they bring my dad to the phone which is apparently in the kitchen and the workers are always talking so loudly right next to him and carrying on a conversation and laughing almost every single time I call so he cant concentrate and I cant hear him. Its been very frustrating and hard to believe this is the only area to talk on the phone. For the first few months my dad was placed at Arden courts I wasnt allowed to speak to my dad. My calls were blocked by Lori the director completely illegally. I have 3 other sisters and one was made power of attorney a few days before my dad was brought there which is also illegal because he was not in the right state of mind to pick someone to be his POA. I have no relations with these sisters because they are toxic evil beings but regardless one of the sisters who was not POA told her to not tell me anything or put my calls through and she did just that. I lost months of speaking to my dad and I had started a lawsuit against the power of attorney sister when come to find out it was a different sister Lori was taking orders from. Lori has also reported things like when I call or what I say to the other sisters which is completely illegal also. I can never get back the time I lost of being able to talk to my dad and the enormous stress and pain I went through for those months and my husband and I are going to fight for justice about this horrible experience. The way things were handled were completely illegal. I would not recommend this nursing home because of all the problems Ive dealt with Lori, theres more than what Im writing here. The difficulty I have getting a hold of my dad is terrible and then when I do they have no respect for him and yell right next to him while he is on the phone. My experience with Arden courts at Palm Harbor has been terrible.

As a healthcare provider that visits Arden Courts residents regularly, I can not say enough about the incredible atmosphere, supervision and care that the residents of Arden Courts Palm Harbor receive. You NEVER see the staff sitting around, they are always busy. It is easy to tell how much the staff cares for their residents by their knowledge and interaction. I would definitely consider having my parents live at Arden Courts of Palm Harbor if they were ever in a position to need Memory Support.

There are no words to express my gratitude to the entire staff at Arden Courts of Palm Harbor. As a Care Manager, it is a great responsibility to ensure that my clients are safe and well taken care of. The entire staff welcomed my client and cared for her as though she were family. What began as a difficult situation for my client became a true blessing. I greatly appreciate the communication and the inclusion Arden Courts allowed me throughout my clients residency there. I can not express how wonderful this facility is. When it became necessary to move my mom to a place where she would be safe, engaged and loved, Arden Courts was the perfect place. There is always something for her to do, and people who smile and say hello to her. The staff understands her needs and how to handle her confusion and memory loss. The meals are wonderful and she enjoys her table mates she eats with. The facility is always clean and cheery. I could not recommend a better place for a loved one.

Excellent facility that meets my mothers needs beyond my expectation. The Staff is caring and shows my mother the attention and love she requires. They are wonderful! The activities which are ongoing can be restful as well as fun, lively and stimulating. They encourage family participation in all their activities - you are always welcome to join in. When I first asked the question about the best time to visit my mother, the reply was...this is your mothers home and you are welcomed to visit anytime. So this is how I feel about Arden Courts - the staff make it a real home for my mother, not just a place to put her in. And.... the best part of all is when Mom leans over to me and whispers, you couldnt have picked a better place for me to live. I am happy here.

We just picked up Poppy from his stay at Arden courts and we could not be happier with the care and compassion he was shown while we were away . He said everyone was so nice to him And he had frizzled eggs ( meant scrambled!) best part is he thought people were old , funny he felt young again Thank you all for your compassion and for allowing us a much needed trip to renew and refresh . My aunt has been residing in AC of Palm Harbor for over 5 years now. Rhonda Coates and all the staff make is possible for her to deal with her condition and provide a very safe and secure community. There are several daily events and gatherings provided to help make each day a better day. I cannot thank them enough and highly suggest anyone looking for a memory care facility....... to please take a tour and meet Rhonda personally.

My 97 year old Mother lives at Arden Courts and has been there for just under 2 years now. She is very happy there and has a good quality of life.The design layout of Arden Courts is such that there are 4 separate houses each with about 14 residents. Each house has its own Family Room, Kitchen, and Dining Room. This gives a cozy feel to each house.Then there are also community areas for activities and gatherings.The entire facility is always very clean and fresh smelling too.The caregivers are excellent and genuinely seem to care about the residents.Also the grounds are like a nice park with benches, a swing and a gazebo. There lots of big old oak trees and squirrels to watch and feed. This is probably my Mothers favoritepastime. All in all a very nice place to be.

When its my time,this is definitely where I would want to live. I had the opportunity to spend 10 hours here today. The entire place was totally amazing! The staff all were perfect in every way. From the receptionist to activities this place is heaven. The caregivers were the best I have ever seen. I was truly impressed.

I have had the pleasure to work at Arden Courts of Palm Harbor for more than 7 years+ and love this community! We have the best residents, staff and family members in town. The design of the building supports the residents by providing them with a fail safe community where they thrive. We have the best programming and our outside walking areas cant be beat. Arden Courts takes care of my Mom like I would. The residents are happy there. The medication is given on time. I cant say enough good things about the staff. The building has a home like feel. Residents can go outside. The grounds are enclosed with a sidewalk and gazebo. It took a long time to find this wonderful place.
