Another update: Now I have been here over 2 years things are going downhill again. New management company has taken over. Top 2 managers are basically MIA. Another new resident that's a lot less handicapped than she pretends to be has moved in with a really nasty non-resident friend who is a nasty piece of work. The new resident evidently really an entitled personality. A little back story so this will make sense to the non-informed person looking to move in. My friends and I fought for a decent, safe smoking area with shade and after a year, we finally got one. This new resident was actively trying to physically hurt us. Her non-resident friend last weekend came to our smoking area and started screaming at us. Accusing us of all kinds of things we didn't do. She then complain s to management. Without even checking with us about what happened; management added 3 nasty, old chairs to our smoking area. Now my friends and I are definitely not safe and the only choice they left us was to go anywhere BUT the smoking area we fought so hard for. My 84 year old friend is totally paralyzed on her right side and recently almost died. She can not afford to be hurt again by some crazy, entitled new person. I'm not exactly in the best of health or I wouldn't be here. With the new management company, we were informed the new rent raises could and probably be 18%. BUT they are supposedly going to put 6 million $ into "upgrades" Guess who's going to have to pay for all of that. So, the bottom line is: I'm dropping my rating to a 2. New, potential residents beware.

Holiday Ormond in the Pines is a very worthwhile clean and comfortable senior living facility with warm friendly residents and a very responsive staff that are more than willing "and capable" of providing residents with any need that might occur. I have been living here now for six months and am very comfortable. I have made many friends and my lifestyle has significantly improved over my previous living situation. If you are in need of a senior living facility for yourself or a family member you can't go wrong choosing Holiday Ormond in the Pines. Come join us.

Seems to be a nice place to live. Our 95 year old family friend has a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, livingroom, dining area and full bath. Cook in the apartment or eat in the cafeteria dining room. Do your own laundry or use the facility laundry service. Weekly apartment cleaning service is convenient. The whole place seems neat as can be. The swimming pool looks inviting. Quiet pets of the residents are welcome. There are shuttles to shopping, Dr appointments, activities and lunch excursions. There are different levels of retirement living according to resident's needs. Our friend is independent, but she has help in house if she should ever need it.

We brought my mother in law here after she finished rehab for breaking both hips. She had been living at home and wanted to continue to do so as soon as she was strong enough. We felt she needed a little more time after discharge, so she went, reluctantly. It was a wonderful experience for her!! The staff treated her like family, she made so many friends, and she thoroughly enjoyed the activities they offer! (Not only in house, but they go places every day on their bus!) They also have Physical and Occupational therapies offered, in house, through an outside company, which she still needed, and have since transitioned her to her home. The food was good, the facilities are clean and lovely, and the staff was fabulous! Honestly, as reluctant as she was to start, in the end, she didn't want to leave! Undoubtedly, there will come a day when she can not live alone, and she definitely won't fight us on that point because she already knows she loves it here! I highly recommend Ormond in the Pines!

I have come here decades ago when my grandmother needed more care after moving out of her two story house. About two years ago I was looking to move my parents North from West Palm Beach to be closer to family. We came back and visited the place and was very impressed. With that my parents moved in and have a nice one bedroom overlooking the pool. We recently visited as we were driving north. Charlie the director there has always been super friendly and accommodating. My mom loves the fact that the property is pet friendly. She goes out everyday and feeds the squirrels. There are plenty of activities at the property if the residents are interested in participating. I am very impressed with the property and the staff here.

From the moment we walked into the lobby, not only did staff greet us but residents did also. Very cheerful, happy and comforting atmosphere everywhere we went. The food is great with several selections at every meal. The kitchen staff can make your mouth water and stomach growl when they prepare and serve meals. All of the community's staff are so wonderfully friendly and supportive to residents and visitors. They keep the community clean, safe, healthy and homey. To say the least our family is very happy with our Ormond In The Pines experiences. I can relax knowing my Mom is in caring hands.

My heart is broken & I'm so sad. I never met my half brother Frankie, but we talked many times on the phone in the past 1 1/2 years. We exchanged photos from childhood and current years. He filled in family history & medical info that I am forever grateful. I feel Blessed that I got to know him, if only by telephone conversations. He shared lots of information about his Dad, Frank Sr, my Godfather (My biological father). My Mother, RIP & Frank Sr were in the band The Tune Spinner's in 1950s & 60s. Planned to visit him in spring of 2023, but it was not meant to be. Foreverr Grateful, Rose Rowland Rogers, ROSIE as Frankie called me.

I found Ormond In The Pines for my Mom after having visited a few other facilities. The minute Mom entered the facility she felt very comfortable. Charlie , (Charles Dellaria, the Executive Director), was amazing at making mom feel comfortable Immediately and showing us the facility. And to this day they are still very helpful! the Director, the front desk, Nurses, Aids, Maintenance Manager, and right down to the Cleaning lady 🙂 have shown patience, and helpfulness in every situation that arises! I would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for an excellent place for their parent!

I am very grateful for the care my uncle received at Ormond in the Pines. Everyone is super friendly. My uncle moved in June 2019 and really enjoyed the trips and activities. He made friends and was well known. I want to thank his nurses for the care and attention he received. It made all the difference in the world. Many thanks to Charlie and Barbara for all of their help as well. You made a difference in helping me get things done in a timely manner. Keep up the care and commitment for the residents, it eases families more than you know.

WONDERFUL STAFF AND FACILITY.From the first meeting with John, the experience was great. John gave us the tour and understood the needs of my spouse and why we had made the decision to move there. We then met Charlie the Manager an upbeat person with a positive outlook, you can find him working all over the facility and helping out in the dining room, etc..The food is wonderful and coming from a person that likes to cook, this is a major compliment.My spouse only after a short time is walking better and gaining some weight which makes my life much easier and happier as I still have to workLastly I would like to send a special thank you to Barbara at the front desk. My neighbor has moved into Ormond in the Pines a few months ago. She is very happy with the facility and she likes the meals a lot. She has an elderly Poodle and she was allowed to bring Charlie with her. Shes happy and healthy.

My Grandma has lived here for 7 or 8 years now. She loves it. She enjoys walking around the courtyard and around the parking lot. Before the virus hit with a lockdown I would randomly show up at different times just to make sure things are good. I saw her at dinner (good food), see her perform in the kitchen band, I know she watches Skipbo being played, they have concerts with outside people that come in. They have lots of different events for the residents to participate in. Of course they dont have to, but if you are looking for your loved ones to be in an active place... This is it. Its great. Staff is nice, residents are nice, grandma loves it. That is top priority. She has to live there, not me. Highly recommend.

This assisted living facility is very open and it feels like it is out in the country while being right in town. People are always up and down the hall coming and going. The residence seem to always be smiling and happy to greet you when you come in.

Recently was sent a guest meal pass for Ormond in the Pines and I must say what a delightful experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and the wait staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. The food was outstanding and well presented delicious redfish meal. thanks to all for a wonderful experience.
