We visited many assisted living places before deciding on Brookdale. It has turned out to be a great choice for my uncle. It’s a smaller community, close to amenities. All staff have been friendly and helpful, from Les helping me prepare my uncles room for move in, Joanne and Kerrie for all my questions and all other staff being personable and taking time and having attention for peoples personal needs here. Evening crew has been slightly less responsive, but Barbara is always there I drop in at all times and days and I hear the staff make jokes and laugh with the residents. They offer plenty activities and shuttle service to doctor visits and shopping. My uncle is happy here and feels safe and comfortable. That’s what matters most.

I admit Im biased because I work for Brookdale, but I have to share how amazing this team of experts is - the community is led by an executive director who was recently promoted, and Kerrys big heart and focus on excellence is felt throughout the community. Their director of nursing, Kelly, is among the best clinicians Ive ever met, and knows each of her residents wants, in addition to their needs. And Joanne, the sales manager, will really help you figure out whether Brookdale Ormond Beach is the right option for you. Please visit this community with confidence - youll be glad you did.

The staff is really amazing. Their director, bruce, is a very nice and caring person. Brookdale is very clean and well maintained. They really care about the residents.

The staff here are wonderful! Especially Bruce Joanna who went out of their way to make a relatives transition to the facility safe welcoming. COVID has limited a lot but kudos to the staff creativity catering to resident interests with activity club offerings, happy hour, and van rides to birdwatch. Grandma reports the food here is fresh delicious and another interesting tidbit is she says all staff greet her whenever they pass... little things that contribute to the positive culture here and truly set this place apart and make it a special place to live

Very nice place, one of my favorites. However I did not see any outdoor space except out front at the entrance. Very clean. A very active/engaged community. I like that they encourage clients to create groups for their preferred activity rather than just participate in a standard set of crafts-

This community has a family dinner every month. My aunt is becoming more active and has made friends. This is an active community and the residents I have spoken to seem to like it. This community is smaller than other communities and has a great atmosphere. The grounds are well maintained. I would recommend this community.

My mom came here at the end of May! They have treated her very well and she loves all the aides and the staff! The food too is abundant and tasty! It was a brilliant choice to choose Brookdale Ormond! Thank you all!!

My mom was laying in a hospital bed eating three meals a day on her back. I never saw her out of bed for almost two months. Within days of being at Brookdale my mom was out of bed, dressed, and eating in the dining room. I have visited at all hours and have found her exercising, in the tv room , or waiting at the door for me. The loving on all of the residents is easy to see. The care is amazing.
