Rates were competitive with other places in the area but what drew us in was how the staff treats us like their own family. It’s also easy to reach someone if she has questions, truly a place we can trust!

Very satisfied with our experience with Grand Villa. We were unsure of the next step for my grandmother after rehab, but Grand Villa made her transition extremely easy and comfortable for her. From the leasing team to administration to the caring staff, everyone has made us feel welcome and at home. We’re so happy to know she’s in a place that will look after her and be safer than her being home alone. She also loves the Passport dining, a new country every month - who would have thought she’d “travel” more than me!

I could not be happier with my experience at Grand Villa Ormond. The community is always very welcoming. The entire staff goes above and beyond to provide great care for their residents. I enjoy seeing the residents participate in the community with activities, dining and plenty of fun events. You can’t help but notice how nice everything looks and is always clean. The executive Director Jake Knisley is always present and interacting with residents, family, visitors and staff. I always enjoy visiting this beautiful community.

For nearly ten years, we have been paying members of this community. I trusted this assisted living community to actually assist my mother and take care of her needs. As a result of her increasing dementia, she began exhibiting some negative behaviors. I was not called in for any consultation or discussion at all. On November 2, I received a brusque, formal, uncaring phone call that informed that I must move my mother to another facility. There were no attempts to have a meeting with me to discuss the situation, to seek medical or social solutions, to call in medical professionals, to seek answers to her problems. All I received was just a dismissal notice to let me know I had to have her out of the facility by Christmas Day. Who evicts an old lady on Christmas? The aides are wonderful--overworked and underpaid. The administration is a disappointment and a shame. Do not put your loved one here.

Grand Villa quickly set up a private room for my step-mother and is allowing her to use some of their left-over furniture when she was displaced from her condo and it had to be sold as is. We are very grateful and so far she loves her new space.

July 30th, 2021. This place is nice and organized. Toni in the front desk and Keisha were the stars of the building with their great attitude, kindness and helpful spirits. Updated, on September 10th, 2021. This is my second visit to this building and I keep enjoying working with Keisha over and over. I didnt see Toni in the front desk this time. I hope she is doing well.

What a wonderful team! Everyone is friendly and they took take time to address residents as we toured the building. They truly care about the residents. So many assisted living facilities are not run that way. Grand Villa is clean, decorated nicely and seems too offer many choices for activities. I cant say enough good .things about Grand Villa. For 2 years we had our mother age 91 and father 98 (recently deceased) in the care of Grand Villa. The staff is fantastic and always know our family when we visit and what is going on with our parents. The facility is small enough to give the care and attention needed and large enough to supply the extra services they need. I would recommend Grand Villa to anyone looking for a loving and caring place that is clean and well managed. I give Grand Villa a 5 star rating! Scott Korff

My mother has lived there for several years now. She loves it. I appreciate the caring staff, the cleanliness of it, and the attention to her needs. I was especially impressed that during hurricane season, they packed up the entire place, with all the residents AND their pets, and bussed them to a safe location where they stayed for several days. My mom treated it like a great adventure!

My mom lives here and is very happy, which makes us happy! The staff are all wonderful, and during this difficult lock down time have made every effort to help, support and make mom feel good!! The food is delish- and the chef is top notch! Highly recommend this location! Talk with Alayne (awesome) and Jennifer at the front desk (fabulous!) as well as ALL the staff! It is a very clean place as well!

We brought my mom down from Illinois in a rush - as medicare and such situations occurred - and she could not live alone anymore.. (we live here in Palm Coast) ..and how lucky were we that we found Alayne and Grand Villa. Alayne was welcoming and inclusive of all our needs. The entire facility was clean and welcoming immediately. Once we brought my mom down from IL... it was flawless.... we moved mom in, everyone was fabulous to her, and to us - and meeting all our needs. We had to set up dialysis as well, and they helped us with that too. It has been 6 months - and we are more than pleased with everything. We get to see mom whenever we want... the staff is great and welcoming, Dee , Alayne and all the staff is fabulous - all good in our world. 🙂 I highly recommend Grand Villa.

Totally trust Grand Villa with my moms care. She has been here 3 years now. Mom is comfortable here and happily calls GV home. Mom can also be a challenge at times and the staff here is so patient and empathetic. Thank you GV for taking such great care of mom and Dixie.

In the midst of a search for mom and dad we found Grand Villa at our second stop. We felt a strong attraction to the welcoming and accommodating staff. As a result, we counted our blessings and searched no further. 98 year old Mr. Bill loved things immediately while mom adjusted more each day . During the adjustment central desk was always willing to offer suggestions and help. Dad has since passed peacefully and mom now considers this HOME without hesitation. Bless you all you have forever changed ours!

I have the opportunity and pleasure to visit patients and their families at Legacy House of Ogden. There is a definite feeling of "home" from the time I enter the doors that is reflected in each of the staff. The tender personalized care that they provide to the residents is beyond what would be considered as needed, they provide that extra special additional care and concern that help those living here "feel at home" My life is blessed by working alongside the wonderful staff, and for the residents. I highly recommend Legacy house and would definitely consider it for my friends and family when the need arises.

Somerford recently hosted an Easter Brunch for residents and their families. I must say it was top-notch. The food was great, decorations tasteful, and the energy & friendliness of the staff (as always) were refreshing! As a family member, I do appreciate the special events held at the facility.

My 95 year old mother-in-law finally got tired of doing her own shopping, cooking and cleaning. After looking all over Santa Barbara, Oxnard and Ventura, the Townehouse was easily the best place. Lots of activities, friendly residents, 3 meals included, weekly cleaning and bed making included, beautiful grounds and walking paths, studios, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, plus a range of a-la-carte additional services if you need them. Too many more options to describe here!

The entire staff demonstrates that they love their job. Nobody acts exasperated. The staff actually comes up to ME to let me know the latest about my mother before I can even ask them. This is the entire staff. Administration and the Medical Technicians. The administration eliminated the confusion often associated with transitioning in the process of moving into a new Facility. They handled all the potential hurdles. The maintenance crew keeps the place beautiful. The Bingo facility is of Bingo olympics caliber. My mother was apprehensive to move. Now; she feels so safe and surrounded by friends, yet can retreat to her room to nap at any time. Great staff at all levels and duties.
