I have a family member who currently is a resident of Gold Choice Ormond Beach. The administrative staff who are now running this facility are responsive, professional and understand the importance of 2-way communication to support the best interests of those who can no longer live independently. They have been patient and kind and flexible in handling some challenges as a result of my family member’s medical/cognitive issues. I appreciate them!

I have been here for a month and it's a excellent place and the food is really good so I have no complaints. I was at Avante for rehab for 4 months after a car reck and it was a horrible experience so I'm very happy and lucky that I found Gold Choice .

I work here and our Residents are happy and well fed! The food is great staff is loving and caring. It is awesome to see that they care for the residents as if they were their own grandparents. What a difference a little love makes!

Gold Choice has a loving homelike atmosphere. When you first walk in you might not see it immediately but stay a bit, see the residents and the people who care for them and you will feel it. The food is amazing also. You cant do better!!!

This place is just like the mission on the wall Dignity Value and Comfort not a bunch of fancy stuff like the expresso machines and stuff. The people are super kind all the residents we saw on the tour shared how much they love it there they all seemed so very happy. Debbie gave a great tour and was so imformative about how to use community resources to get our mom on Medicaid. (Not crazy about the lobby furniture could be updated and the TV room furniture was very worn needed replaced) But for the value it will be our pick in a year or so when we get all our ducks in a row.

My Grandmother was unhappy living in another assisted living facility. She complained about the food and also about pests in her room (not her roommate). She told the family she was willing to part with her friends just to try another place. We went looking but place after place turned her away based on her income. Gold Choice was the first place that offered to help connect her with some government benefits to help supplement the money she already had and she moved in. Now she tells us she likes the the food and she says the place is kept clean. Also, she says they always seem to be improving or renovating something. We do see a lot of work being done on our visits. Staff is super friendly too, but mostly, my Grammy is happy...for now ; )

I feel that the food here is good, the staff is very cooperative and qualified. I have my own parking space near the front door and the location is central to everything you may need in the community. I feel safe and secure at all times. The interior and remodeling choices are very cheerful and the artwork is tasteful. I recommend anyone should come visit and see for themselves.
