My mother moved here from another Brookdale center because her dementia got worse. The time she was there was hard on our family as her dementia progressed, but all the Brookdale staff cared for her and us like we were family. Thanks Brookdale!

I dont typically write reviews, but I work with this community professionally and feel that Brookdale Ormond Beach West deserves recognition. This is a wonderful memory care community where the staff members engage their residents and treat each like family in a warm and homey atmosphere.Led by Todd, Executive Director, the entire team is so kind and considerate to the needs of the residents that live there and are always friendly and smiling. Elise, Health and Wellness Director, is always calm, caring, and takes wonderful care of the residents. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimers Disease and Dementia Care Trainer. Brittney, Sales and Marketing Manager, is as sweet as they come. She will help give you peace of mind when contemplating memory care for a loved one as well as making sure you have the necessary information to make an informed decision.Although I dont know other team members as well, they are equally as friendly, caring, and engaging with residents. As a healthcare professional, I am always treated with respect and greeted with a smiling and friendly faceimpressive is the way the management team goes above and beyond to show appreciation to the employees. It is obvious when you step inside that it is a great place to live and work. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale Ormond Beach West.

Brookdale Ormond Beach West is an amazing facility. I have witnessed several times how caring and wonderful they are. They pride themselves on Patient Care, Elise the Nurse Manager has great way to be a leader and motivator to her team with expertise training in memory care patients. Todd is the executive Director he wonderful to work and has been in the business of caring for patients for decades. Brittany is one of the nicest young ladies I have met. She is willing to help you make the difficult decision easy. I highly recommend Brookdale Ormond Beach west!

BOBW really tries to keep the residents engaged, and provides activities and entertainment (yay, Matt!)! My brother and I both live out of state, but try to visit a few times a year, and my sister who is local is there several times a week, so we have had time to observe the care my Mom has received over the past year. My brother, sister and I would like to thank all of the excellent and caring staff at this facility. They have a difficult job, and do exceptional work.
