Staff has always been very nice. Well that was a year ago. My parents place has roaches that they complain about but no one does anything. Many times staff in the parking lot screaming at each other and on phones. So bad I've had people watch while I went to my car. Food service sucks takes 2 hrs sometimes longer for lunch. Parents are moving out.

This is a full service Retirment home and assisted living facility. Anyone that has the opportunity to use this place should be considered privileged as its first class all the way. Dining area run by inhouse chef Dave, and his souse chef and their immaculate cooks are skilled at preparing mouthwatering edibles! all aspects of this area is top notch. Staff and administration are resort like well worth visiting and evaluation for elderly care.

We were very pleased with Rick McPhillips presentation and information packet along with a video explaining Marion Woods and everything that it has to offer.. I have forwarded all the info to the Couple from up north so that they have the full picture...thank you for all your help.... If they are interested they will contact him personally in the future...

My mom was in Marion Woods for two years until she passed away. Staff were wonderful - compassionate and competent - and the facility was very spacious, clean and well-kept. Lots of activities for the residents and the food was very good. My mom and I looked at all of the assisted living facilities in Ocala, Marion County area and this was by far the best. I also appreciated the fact that if I had any questions or concerns, I could call the management and if they were not available, I always got a call back within a short time. Very happy with our experience at Marion Woods.

Who wouldnt want to live there! Its clean, beautiful, and offers everything you want. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The residents were all talkative and seemed very happy. Rick, the resident care specialist goes above and beyond.

Staff friendly and caring. Great place for those not needing continual care. Families encouraged to be as involved as they can. This people are fun and outgoing. We go over and play Euchre on Monday evenings! Lol

Cruise ship dining is a feature of this home for active seniors. Service is excellent for maintenance needs and cable television connections. Rooms are accessible, and there are areas for laundry, library, television, exercise bicycles and outdoor walking. Rick is a terrific host and manager, adaptable for those with disabilities. This location is even better than the Montgomery, AL one with which we are also familiar.

Was there moving my wifes grandfather out as he needs more care than they provided. Great place every resident as well as my wifes grandfather love it there. It was very clean, staff was friendly. My wifes only complaint and I will agree was that the cleaning staff that cleans the residents rooms dont do a very good job. But that could be due to my wife grandfather Im not sure.

I Love Marion Woods A L F Every time we come to see my Dad he is happy. I couldnt ask for a better A L F from the minute we trun in to the Driver Way I feel at peace. The landscapers do a fabulous job. I walk into the building and I am so happy to be there. I know my Dad of 85 Is getting the best care. My Sister chose a wonderful home. His Apt is just what he needs and he likes it. The staff are very helpful with anything I needed or that my Dad needs as far as I can tell. Dad loves the dinning room and food. The culinary staff was wonderful to us my father and his son-in-law didnt alert them that they had 5 other guests on a Sunday morning. They were so wonderful they accommodated us it was Christmas it was our last day with him. Thank you so much Marion Woods Julie Goodbrand-McMurran
