My 88 and 89-year-old parents were unable to live in their home by themselves. We began to look for an assisted living facility. We met Athena and Heather at Brookdale. They made the move very easy and my parents love it here! I highly recommend Brookdale Chambrel at Pine Castle. The staff here really cares about the residents!

I visited Brookdale Chambrel Pinecastle after contacting Suzanne from out of state. I was looking for a family member. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for independent living with an option for a-la-carte assistance. Suzanne was awesome. She answered my email promptly, was knowledgeable, courteous and genuine. My schedule was erratic, and Suzanne accommodated it cheerfully. When I was onsite to see the model, Suzanne was prepared for my incessant questions. The apartment was spacious and the grounds are lovely. The follow-up was impressive. Suzanne will help customize the assistance and ensures that you have complete understanding of what they do and do not offer as well as what is included in basic pricing and what is extra. She never gives the impression that she is in a hurry.

Brookdale has a fabulous, caring staff. They make sure each resident feels special and that they matter. The way that they have handled the pandemic and their approach to safety has proven to protect their community yet still allow the residents to participate in activities and meals following protocols. I feel good that my mom is there and happy.

My mother has been a resident here for four years. I have been very pleased with her care and the staff. This facility offers the residents many opportunities for gathering and promotes social interaction. Ive lived here for a little over a year. This is my first experience in a retirement living facility. Im not sure exactly what I expected, but Brookdale has far exceeded it. My apartment is roomy and comfortable. It is thoroughly cleaned each week. The staff here are wonderful. I have my favorites of course. Just to mention a few; Athena, Tim, Doreen, Nancy, Theresa, JR, and all the restaurant staff. The food is excellent. I never expected to have menu choices. I fully expect to spend the rest of my twilight years here.

My mother is a resident and we have been very pleased with this location. They have some amazing staff. Everyone is friendly, and helpful. If you are want the best, you will have to speak to Athena in admissions, she is truly a treat! Her endless kindness and is refreshing. I am so thankful that my mother is able to call this place home and we can feel comfortable knowing she is safe and happy.

David took residence during the beginning of Covid-19. We were very blessed to have the facility accommodate our needs during this trying time. His needs are increasing more rapidly than I expected but the staff at Brookdale Chambrel Pinecastle (BCP) have been there to ensure all his needs are met expeditiously. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is due to the fact that Davids medications are still not being ordered through the VA. The VA will provide all of Davids medications without charge due to his diagnosis from his service in Vietnam. However, I have been assured this will be resolved soon. I am forever grateful to BCP and staff for taking care of David in such a professional way and providing a peaceful, calm and clean environment for him. Thank you BCP!

Athena has been an angel in disguise helping us to traverse the placing of our dad in this wonderful assistant care facility. Staff is amazing. Everyone shows compassion and empathy to the residents. The memory care unit...Clare Bridge is like a home environment. Warm and friendly, the staff is so very caring. Thank you for caring for sweet Dora, she lived several years here and passed in her own bed with the wonderful added care from Hospice.

My mother lived at Pinecastle for a few years before she passed away. The Director Tim Smith has improved all aspects of the facility and is extremely professional and caring. The dining room has improved and the food is great, but more important the incredible staff in the dining room is amazing working with the aging community. My mother made close friends and had a quality of life at 96, I can only hope for. The facility's cleanliness improved under this director and housekeeping did a good job. Thank you Tim Smith and staff for giving my mother such a wounderful quality of life in the winter of her life.
