My friend lives there now! Her husband said that there is no hot water this morning. Something is always breaking down. The meals are a big problem there. Inadequate people working in the kitchen. You wonder if the information given to the Public is accurate or current.

I understand Laura Politz is now working at Hampton Manor Deerwood ALF. You are so fortunate to have an amazing woman working for you. Laura was the Executive Director at Brentwood at Fore Ranch when my father was living there. She knew the residents, took care of all their needs and stayed in touch with families like ours that were out of town. My Dad had a stroke and Laura saved his life with being right on top of everything in the short window we had to reverse the stroke. Once Laura left Brentwood the facility went down hill very quickly including my Dad who has now passed. We have know Laura for the past 4 years. She is very talented and organized. We wish her the best with her new position with Hampton Manor.

When placing a parent in an ALF, quality of care is of the utmost importance. But if that care is not accompanied by honesty and integrity then it can be uncertain. I placed my mom at Hampton Manor Deerwood earlier this year because she fell in love with the people and facility. She was initiially resistant to leaving her home but after a couple of visits she began telling her neighbors that she was excited about her move.After her last visit she realized that she had misplaced her opal ring, a family heirloom that was quite valuable. We looked everywhere to no avail. Realizing the last time she wore it was at Hampton Manor, we called to ask if it had been found. The receptionist said she would look and ask around. We had little hope that it would be found. After all, a small ring is easy to conceal and pawn later.The next day we received a call from the administrator saying the ring had been found by one of the nursing assistants and returned to the front desk. Realizing we were dealing with honest folks, there was no other choice but to move her immediately into Hampton Manor Deerwood (HMD).Although she only ended up staying for about a month (before moving to long-term care), the care and attention she received was outstanding.The final thing that sealed our love for HMD had to do with the initial down payment we paid to secure a room for her. Because she only stayed a month, Peter was very kind to refund a large portion. He didnt have to. There was no requirement in the agreement to do so. In fact, we were pretty sure that the deposit was lost. But the ownership of HMD did the right thing and provided a refund.This is a quality operation, folks. They provide quality care, are cheerful and helpful in doing it, and they operate under the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would want them to do to you.Thank you, Peter and staff...

From the moment you are greeted it feels like family. Warm hellos and smiling faces are everywhere.As you walk through this community you will see colored hallways with decorated residence front doors, that just add to the charm.The dining room is beautiful, clean and spacious, with lots of room for walkers and wheelchairs to maneuver without disturbing the residents that are seated. The menu would rival any restaurant.The staff is pleasant, professional and caring to their residents. At the top sits Laura who has a heart bigger than herself. My mother has been a resident since 2017, she moved to one of the apartments in the new section, and I was happy to find a place that we could fit so many of her cherished belongs into to make her feel at home. It was a hard decision to make, and the staff made the transition as smooth as possible. Im comforted knowing that my mother is well cared for, and safe under their care. We have managed to iron out a few communication wrinkles along the way, as we all adjust to this. I did tour all the other facilities in the area, and this was the best fit for my mom. I have the option to eat holiday meals there, and the food is good. Ive been able to attend some of the family functions also. I highly recommend Hampton Manor for anyone that needs that next level of care for their family members.

My father-in-law has been a resident for over a year. Our experience has been wonderful. The management has been very accommodating to our needs. The staff is always very pleasant and patient. Most importantly, we are immediately notified of any items regarding dads health, supplies, and medications. The Hampton Manor staff welcomes our frequent visits, and always stops to speak with us. Dad has lots of opportunities to participate in resident activities. We highly recommend Hampton Manor at Deerwood.

Living at Hampton Manor Deerwood greatly improved my moms life in a matter of a couple of days. When living at home with me she always looked so depressed, most of time she sat in the same chair and she slept a lot. Now that she lives at Hampton Manor she looks happy and vibrant. At mealtimes she sits with a nice group of peers and has made many friends. She also loves the activities. Her favorites are the live entertainment, bus tour outings, and bingo. Jermaine and the rest of the dining staff prepare the most delicious meals so I know my moms nutritional needs are being met every day. Since she turned 80 her balance is off. I was very concerned about her falling whenever we left the house. Now I dont worry because she is in an environment that encourages mobility in safe surroundings. This move has been a blessing for my mom and I have peace of mind knowing that when I am out working that she is happy and safe. I visit my mom often and Im greeted warmly as soon as I enter the building.I want to send out a special thank you to Janet and the rest of the team for all they do for my mom. I am forever grateful.

My mother has been at Hampton for a year and a half. I have only experienced positive reactions every time I have a question about Moms care. The manager, Janet, always returns all calls and emails almost immediately. I have had several questions emailed to Debbie, the nurse, and have always gotten action and an answer. Mom has made good friends there , not only with some of the other residents, but with a lot of the day staff who always stop and hug her when they see her coming. I have been to several of their holiday parties with Mom in the upstairs activity room. There is wonderful food, music, and great punch. I go over to see Mom at least once a week and have always found it to be pleasant, and clean and the front desk is staffed with two of the most pleasant ladies, Suzanne and Marsha. I know that Mom does have concerns about the meals at times, but she says that is improving somewhat. Any establishment is always going to have those few employees whom for some reason or other are not quite up to par. But for the most part, Hampton is on task and helpful to Mom when she has really needed it. When faced with a recent cost of living rent increase, my Mom grew very upset that perhaps she would have to leave Hampton. She did not want to have to move and leave Hampton, her friends, sense of security and well being that she experiences there. I have told some friends to check it out for their loved ones. In closing, I would just like to say the peace of mind that I have knowing Mom is secure and loving where she is cannot be downplayed. I cant say enough good things about Hampton Manor. My mother lived at the Deerwood facility until her passing in early August. Everyone is extremely professional and kind including office staff, receptionists, nursing staff, kitchen, housekeeping. They all care very much for the residents and treat them like family. The place is spic and span clean. You would be beyond lucky to live there or have a loved one living there.

My Grammie moved in last Spring and has made great friends since then. She loves to show off her apartment and really enjoys attending the craft classes offered by the Activities Dept. Her apartment is always clean, and Karen does an excellent job with her laundry. I really feel like the staff at Hampton Manor truly cares for my grandmother and wants the best for her.

Mom has been there over a year and a half. The things she enjoys best are the in-house activities - especially the activities director. Lots of craft projects, live entertainment, exercise program and (usually) good food. It is a beautiful setting with lots of caring staff who go above and beyond the call of duty. This is a very nice looking establishment residents always seem happy there is a ton of activities for the residents to do a lot of places to explore and people to meet. Staff that I have met are always willing to go above and beyond. Would highly recommend

My mamma has been affectionately taken attention at Hampton Manor Assisted Living for the previous 3 months. She is respected and be concerned at what time I am not exist near. I extremely recommend this retirement community in Ocala, Florida to all who want a best inspiring atmosphere. My mamma continuously speaks how decent the foodstuff is and I joint her for dinner at any rate one time a week.

Hampton Manor Assisted Living ROCKS! This is the great retirement community in Ocala, FL. My husbands grandma has been living here since 4 years and she loves it! They do many activities & organize different kind of exciting events. The staff is wonderful and we are always fascinated that they know Grandmothers name and also they are so caring and kindhearted. I always think this the best place for grandma than any other.

Hampton Manor Assisted Living is a beautiful & loving assisted living community in Ocala, FL. There is a good atmosphere of family & friends like a home. The building is very neat, Clean & fabulous. Also they have the best care staff. They treat everyone like they treat their own mother or father. This is the best place I have ever seen.
