I had lunch at Camelot today with a friend, Tropical turkey melts n mouth, with all the fixings.Outstanding! Not to be out done by all the staff they were actually kind and professional. It's refreshing to find an Alf were there's good food good staff and good community. I would recommend over other's in this price range such as Harbor house of Ocala and Brentwood they don't hold a candle to Camelot chateau .This is not a paid advertisement but it should be lol.

We called Camelot to inquire about care for grandma but they were quite rude on the phone, so we decided to take her someplace else. Not a good first impression. Maybe hire some people who have phone etiquette?

We were assured the kitchen would provide meals that meet my mom's dietary needs. This does not happen, we have to make sure she has food available to her when she can't eat most of their meals. They used to provide transportation to her medical appointments and they are discontinuing this service. On top of both these issues they have raised the rates they charge.

This place seems awesome. Rooms are kept clean, garbage always out, meals served in a timely fashion (and the food is good), help with showering is available, they are good with filling supplies. ALL the staff are extremely nice and helpful.

I have been here for 2 weeks. Since my husband passed I need daily help with meds and showering. I'm grieving for my spouse of 43 yrs. and the staff have been very p a tent an dc understanding. It is a small facility but a very big heart. Food is good and if ya don't like what's served...just order the alternate or something off the menu...breakfast lunch or dinner. Assisted living is all new to me...43 years I have lived with my husband...but I am an amputee and can not live alone. Camelot his like living with friends who care. The staff and residents are making this transition easier for me!

Field trips and activites are my dads favorite. He loves to mingle and I'm happy that we chose this facility. Although he says he doesn't eat enough but that's because he loves the meals. You can't go wrong here with your loved ones.KJF

While I loved the residents, there have been problems with medication and properly trained staff. Management has changed, and currently for the better, but past management has driven away many hard working, caring, employees over the years. I, however, would not let a loved one live here if they were not able to manage their own medications. Many errors have been life-threatening.

My sister in law has been here since March of 2016. While no place can possibly be perfect, especially when dealing with the elderly, all of her questions or concerns have been addressed. The staff cares and they keep people busy. Bill Ness, Lolly, Pat and everyone else have always answered our calls and helped us in many ways. You will never find perfect care unless you provide for your loved ones on your own. However, this is as close to family as possible. They encourage independence and they are a pleasure to work with.

I have visited several of the "hotel" styled assisted living facilities in the area and found the open air environment of Camelot Chateau to be a healthy and mentally stimulating place for my elderly in-laws. Why be stuck indoors all day, we all enjoy the sun and fresh air all of our lives so why stop now. I found all of the staff members to be friendly and knowledgeable when dealing with the residents at Camelot. The fact that they have only one vacancy is testimonial that with all of the available places this one is almost full.
