The place itself looks out dated. It could use a lot of upgrades. Some of the staff are friendly. The rooms are small with a shared bathroom to the adjacent room. 1 bathroom for 4 patients. Strange! It's not that clean in the rooms. Now on the plus side it does have some good opportunities for the patients. Physical therapy, dialysis unit, a mini store,hair care, not to bad looking food choices, activities and I'm sure more. Those are some of the things I have observed. At times there is a lot of staff moving around and not sure what that's about. These are my observations. I suggest doing a deep research beforehand.

Ambassador healthcare has helped my grandpa in so many ways. My family and I are so grateful for all the staff has done to care for him. The admissions team was so welcoming when he arrived and the therapy team helped him get strong enough to go home. We would happily recommend this facility to anyone seeking therapy!!

Admissions answered all our questions and gave us a tour. Tammy Social Services helped me very hard to accomplish an effective room change. Physical Therapy was AMAZING!!! They didn't give up on my strength and stability so I could walk again. Occupational Therapy improved my strength in places I didn't know existed

Ambassadors rehab team helped my grandpa reach the goals he needed too! They were all so kind and very supportive towards his goals on getting home. Thank you to all nursing staff and administrative staff for communicating and taking care of him

I work with this facility very often as a social worker, and I couldn’t recommend them enough! They are responsive, accommodating, and trustworthy. I’ve never had any issues with any of my families going to this facility whether it’s for short-term respite, or long-term placement. They’ve cared for many of my patients & their families with intention, respect, & kindness.

Had an outstanding experience with all of the staff, especially the admissions department. The staff was all around professional, attentive, and compassionate. The facility itself was exceptionally clean, welcoming, and organized which made us feel valued and respected as soon as we arrived. The admissions team was very helpful! the facility was very clean and welcoming when i came in for the first time to visit. the therapy room is very big and clean, its nice seeing the residents getting up and work with the therapist

From the LPN’s , to the RN’s , , CNA’s , Sandy the unit Manager she phenomenal amazing and very loving . Patrick who’s he’s a RN he’s amazing at what he does and so so loving and caring while my mom was their for physical therapy and now she’s a permanent resident there , there’s no words to describe of the care that the staff provides . To Aimee Moss the business office manager who she’s amazing for the work that she does in helping the family members with the insurance process and information that she provides in make things more efficient .The list goes on ,I’m so happy that my mom is at this facility and under the care at Ambassador Healthcare at College Park and the wonderful staff . I would highly recommend this facility to all my friends and family . Thank you to everyone for all your hard work !

I was hesitant to bring my Mom here after reading some reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The facility was clean and quickly addressed any concerns that we had. They did have to move her room during her stay. The staff that moved her were very diligent about making sure nothing was left in her old room. The nurses answered all of our questions and kept us up to date on her care. The facility is much better in person than the hospital made it seem. I am forever grateful to them for helping her get stronger so she could come back home to us!

My Dad is based in Estero. We’ve had a heck of a year so far with his health. This time around, we needed a skilled nursing facility for him to rehab at after a surgery and some healing complications. We had dad at another rehab ( which was AWFUL) and then we found Ambassador. It’s smaller than some other facilities around. It’s older. However, the staff I met was awesome. Dad had a few lovely people taking care of him. Ryan, Brandon, cici, red, social worker Nicole. A big thank you. My only gripe is- we need facilities that reach out to the families more and communicate details of how their loved one is doing. I’m 1700 miles away and though my dad and I talked multiple times a day- his recollection of how therapy went is much different than how therapy sees things. Dad is home because insurance wouldn’t pay for him to continue but he was no where near ready to be out of rehab. Thanks for all you folks do!
