Unfortunately I have had experience with 2 other memory care facilities and this is the best by far. The facility is sparkling clean. The entire staff that we have had contact with is friendly , caring and very professional! I cannot recommend or say more about how good the care is at Winsor!

My wife developed "Early Onset Alzheimer's" and has been a client since Nov. 1 of 2015.Compared to the other facility she stayed at (briefly) - Windsor Reflections was a better option. The building is freshly remodeled, it’s a convenient location and it's secure.I cannot speak as to how "expensive or inexpensive" it may be compared to others in the area. But then again - ANYTHING connected to the "medical" industry is more expensive than it should be... so...I gave Windsor Reflections 4 Stars because my wife seemed to be happy there (2016-2018)... and really, what else matters?Note: I had initially given Windsor 5 stars in 2017 ... but lately, I am beginning to wonder. The cleanliness is still there... but I think they may be experiencing staffing issues (7/2018).Note:2: Moved wife out as care level declined rapidly (4/2019) and as soon as she was moved to The Pines (also in SRQ) she showed improvement. Disappointing. Three stars for the good times ... but that was in the past.A care facility is only as good as the staff it has hired to help the clients. If a staff doesn’t really care ABOUT your loved one, how can they care FOR your loved one?

I moved my Mom in here last July, and the 9 months shes spent as a resident of the Windsor Community have been beyond perfect. I dont usually leave reviews but I have had such a positive experience with this community and want to spread the word to those with loved ones with dementia.From the quality of care, to the excellent food, the brilliant staff to the fun activities, the beautiful community spaces to the sunny courtyards: this place is truly perfect.My Mom was previously in a care home in the Phillippi Creek area of Sarasota that had good reviews online, but was completely inadequate in their level of care (my Mom actually escaped from the building not once, but twice). I ended up moving her out due to safety and serious hygiene concerns. I am so thankful I found Windsor!Windsor is like a whole different world. The staff at Windsor truly care about their residents, and it is evident in the friendliness of the staff, the spotless accommodation, the great health and wellness care, and the love and attention that goes into just about every part of Windsors dining and activity programMoving my mom in was super seamless, despite it being in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. The team at Windsor worked to get her room set up perfectly in a matter of hours and were very considerate in caring for her during the move-in processWhen my mom arrived at Windsor she was a high-flight risk and was constantly exit seeking and anxious. Now, shes like a totally different person. Comfy, settled, well groomed, participating in activities, really listened to, smiling, and most importantly—happyI currently live abroad, so total trust and confidence in the care home I picked for my mom was paramount. The folks at Windsor have gone above and beyond in every way. In an industry with a very high turn-over rate, the team here is in it for the long haulSpecial thanks to Linda Doherty, the all-star Sales Director and front of house, for being a truly amazing point of contact that brightens everyones day—and so much more. Their staff was fantastically helpful even before we selected them. They have done everything they said they would and have quickly responded to any questions or concerns. The decline for our family member had been steep prior to entering Windsor and we were unable to get her to do anything. She has adjusted to the routine and her decline isnt as rapid as before. Were so thankful there is a place like Windsor. They are providing better care than we could at home.

My father in law has been at Windsor Reflections for 2 years now. The facilities are lovely. My wife is extremely pleased with the care he is receiving. Everyone from the sweet lady who cleans the rooms, the kind resident assistants, the supervisors, receptionists and other staff members are all cheerful and kind. The activities director is great. So many appropriate activities are scheduled every day including visits from musicians and childrens groups for various events. I think my father in laws favorite activities are the art sessions , visits from puppies and the outside walks. The chef also deserves special mention for all the great meals he prepares including a monthly family night when all the residents‘ families are invited to attend a dinner with their loved one. The Director is extremely attentive to the needs of the residents and their families. We highly recommend this facility.

Our family was very blessed to have Windsor Reflections come into our lives, we had a difficult year with the loss of our mother and our dads dementia intensified after the loss. We were unable to care for him at home due to the need for 24 hr watch. Windsor is an extension of our family, I know my dad has great care and they really treat each resident with such respect and kindness. The concierge medical service groups that support the Windsor family are amazing as well. Once again, it is because of the Windsor staff and leadership by Dennis and his team including Chris (Activities Director), Matt (Head Chef), Michael (Operations), Nykiea (Nurse and Admin-Office), Mildred (Nurse) and Terrika (Resident Staff) and all the support service staff that are there to support and care for our loved ones.

Windsor Reflections has been nothing short of amazing for my mother-in-law. She was in a different facility before coming here last year and the change in her has been incredible, both physically and mentally. The staff here (every last one of them) make her feel like part of the family. They make me and my husband feel the same way when we visit. Dennis is on top of everything and if we have a question or concern regarding anything he responds immediately. Chris the activities director is a gem. Matt, the manager of the kitchen is outstanding and their jobs dont stop at their title, they pitch in and do whatever is needed. We feel so lucky to have found Windsor Reflections and recommend the place to anyone looking for memory care.

I visited Windsor Reflections as my parents are in need of a wonderful place to live so that we can all be closer together. My first impression was how clean it was upon entering and the beautiful scent of fresh cut flowers. When its time for your family to live with support and care, you wish it to be a place where you have comfort in the crew, the other residents who may live there and the leader of the group. I was greeted with a warm welcome as if I was a VIP. I was offered a tea, coffee or bottled water before our tour. I have visited a couple places and have been a care giver for both Comfort Keepers and staff member at Aegis so I was even more attune to locating a place that I felt comfortable in caring for my family. When you are in the process of searching for a place for your family, you search for the right people who truly do care, will go above and beyond, listen, advise, be attentive to answer any questions, show their empathy and concern for the welfare of your family. I was in awe of how well I saw there staff treating the residents on the tour, and very impressed with how the staff related with each other. The Director Dennis really does have high regard for the residents and crew. His respect for both remind me of how chivalrous the folks in our military are. Strong caring handshake and taking the care of your loved ones very seriously. As I place my family into the trust of others, I want them to do just that. At this point I do not need to keep searching for a place. The only place for my family is with Windsor Reflections.

A GREAT PLACE FOR MEMORY CARE WITH A CARING STAFF, CLEANFACILITIES AND HAPPY PEOPLE.. MY HUSBAND WAS TURNED DOWN BY OTHER FACILITIES BUT WINDSOR GAVE HIM A CHANCE AND FOUR MONTHS LATER HE IS MUCH IMPROVED. THEY ALSO HAVE A TERRIFICPT-OT ON STAFF WHO HELPED MY HUSBAND WALK AGAIN, AFTER BEING IN A WHEELCHAIR FOR THREE WEEKS AFTER A HOSPITALIZATION. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND WINDSOR REFLECTIONS MEMORY CARE FOR ANYONE IN NEED OF THEIR SERVICES.
