The nurses and CNAs work very hard to provide good care to the residents. All of the departments pull together to arrive at a good working unit. All of the employees seem to truly care for the well being of the residents. Westminster Point Pleasant is one of the cleanest facilities in Manatee county. The residents express how they are quite pleased with the treatment and care they receive.

I have been a patient at Westminster Point Pleasant in the health center four times now and I wouldnt go anywhere else. They have a first class occupational and physical therapy department that go all out to help get you well. I wanted to learn how to accomplish specific tasks and they eagerly assisted. Thank you Megan and Mark! The entire nursing staff were all very pleasant and checked in on me often to make sure I had everything I needed or wanted. The food was great and the presentation appealing! My favorite was the baked chicken with a baked potato and peas - wonderful!If you ever need physical rehabilitation I would highly recommend Westminster Point Pleasant as the only place to go.Frank Castelvecchi

The care I received here at Westminster Point Pleasant was great. I was welcomed with love by Sunrise with a beautiful smile and warm welcome. The therapy staff was helpful and made sure I got the skills down pat. The room was spacious and the care I received just was outstanding. I would recommend this rehab facility to my family and friends. Should I need care again I would return back here. Thank you all for your services.

My experience there was over and above my expectations. I was greeted with a smile by a beautiful lady named Sunrise; I call her Sunshine! She brought Sunshine in my room every day! Then my other two were Edna, and Kerri. Edna was there to help when I needed help. Kerri came and made sure I had my meds on time. Overall experience was Great!!! I will miss them but will never forget them! Great staff with team work! The passion for helping others in need!

My experience here at Westminister Point Pleasant Rehabilitation was great! I was informed on how I should and was treated by the nice Concierge Sunrise. Sunrise explained how therapy and staff work together at all times. My therapists Ellen and Roger gave me all the time and support to get me in a better place. My mother who passed recently was a resident of the long term care part of this facility. She had been there almost a year. There are not enough words to describe how WONDERFUL Westminster was to my mother. She had previously been at a assisted living and memory care facility and the care was not what we had hope for. When it was decided she needed to go to a long term care I was so hesitant about moving her to another place.From the minute the tour started with Sarry I knew my mom would be in good hands. First, it is just beautiful. Modern, clean and right on the water. The views are stunning.My mom was on the second floor and the staff was always so welcoming. Thank to Holly, Lisa and Rosie for always being patient and kind to my mom, my brother and myself. I relied on you and you never failed me or my family. My dad has been a resident of Westminster Point Pleasant for almost four years. He began in independent living and as his condition declined, he moved to the assisted living area and finally the health center. We are near the end of his life.It seemed appropriate at this time to offer my perspective on the care that he received while a resident. Quite simply, it has been amazing. The facility is first class but it is the staff that has made his time there absolutely wonderful. From the managers and supervisors all the way to the individuals that have provided the hands on care, these people are among the most caring that I have ever met. I stopped in frequently and my dad was always clean and well protected. Even as his mental cognition was failing, I could see his recognition of staff members and the huge smile on his face that accompanied their arrival. had two worries about my dad and his time in a continuing care facility. The first was that he not be in pain and the second was that he would not be afraid. Neither was ever an issue due to the professionalism and more than that, the genuine human concern that he received full time from the employees of Westminster Point Pleasant. If you are looking for a transitional care environment for a loved one, and we looked all of them in west central Florida, look no further than Westminster Point Pleasant.

I have worked here for 7 years. Our Nursing and Therapy departments work well together. We have a very caring and compassionate team. I would reccomend my family to go here for rehab and, or LTC. I have never been more impressed with a company before! They go the extra mile for staff and residents.

Westminster Point Pleasant more than lives up to its name. I spent 3 weeks in the Health Center there. The Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing care were outstanding. There are so many caring staff here. Even my visitors were impressed.

I came in on December 19. The young lady that greeted me was named Sunrise. She greeted me with a beautiful smile and let me know that I was in the best facilityand I would get the best care as I did. My aides were Marie and Victoria ,and Carleta. Marie and Victoria and Carleta were ALWAYS JOHNNY ON THE SPOT! They made may stay feel like home. Therapy was fantastic and well planned. The food was great and hot and tasty. Overall my stay was wonderful. I would recommend my family and friends to come here for care. After my next surgery I will be back; thats just how much I love this facility. Thanks to all the great teamwork they put in everyday.

My Grandmother has been in the rehab for 4 days now after breaking her wrist and hip. They have been amazing with her!!! Shes 96 with dementia, so not an easy rehab. But the staff, nurses, PT, OT everyone has been amazing!! Thank you!!!

My husband and I moved here after he had back surgery. Our home had a galley kitchen, and it wasnt convenient for him to get around in. Here, he could fend for himself in our huge new kitchen, and make himself breakfast and lunch. Jim was so happy here. I didnt even realize the joy, in fact. When he passed, last year, I found paintings that he had done on his own. What a pleasant surprise it was to find. There was so much joy in the pictures!We were really surprised by the tax benefits of moving to a CCRC, too. That was very big, because I am an accountant. It was thousands of dollars! We chose to take half one year, and half the other year.I get so much assurance from knowing that this is it. This is more than likely my last move. Its a really wonderful place to live.

When I first moved to Westminster Point Pleasant, I believed that I would find a group of unhappy, grouchy people in pain. Not so! This is a group who has acknowledged that theyre old, that they need a little extra assistance, and that theyre happy with the accommodation that they made.What I particularly like here is the relationships, not only among the residents but also between the staff and the residents. Its a phenomenon that is rare. I dont like to use the word ‘family, because I think family is different. But theres a respect and an enjoyment that comes from staff and resident interactions.So Im very happy here. I didnt expect to be happy. But, to the contrary, I have been happy here

Carol and I moved here from Sarasota and it has felt like home to us since the first visit. The view of the Manatee River is absolutely gorgeous and were right next to great bars, restaurants, the river walk and the gym. Weve made friends with other veterans and lovely couples. Our lovely two bedroom apartment had the upgrades we asked for and theres much wall space for my art. I enjoy the creative writing class, the book club and the dance socials we have. What assures us most is that we can graduate to any level of care and still keep our friends. This place is warm, pleasant, comfortable and so convenient. Its something you must experience for yourself.

I moved into this beautiful culture four years ago when my wife Jeannine, was ill. We were impressed by the amenities, the exercise program and the general congeniality of the people here. I like the faith-based nature, the company of other seniors, and the enthusiastic staff. I have been so happy here and I have written extensively in local publications about it. If you need help, comfort, understanding and empathy, this is the place to be.

This is the first year my husband and I have lived at this community and we are glad we came. After we served in the church for more than 40 years in Manatee County, we knew about this place and had friends and doctors who recommended it to us. Weve found many things we enjoy. Our neighbors really respect each others privacy. Weve made many friends with interesting stories. The access and close proximity to medical care, hospitals, downtown attractions and the water is also very assuring. We also appreciate the myriad of activities scheduled every day, allowing us to stay as busy as we desire. Were able to visit our home in the Tennessee mountains for the fall and spring with no worries when we return to Florida in the summer. Weve been really happy here. Everything is provided, including all the maintenance and housekeeping we need. Its wonderful!

My wife Lola and I moved here 13 years ago into a completely new villa and we love it. It was important for us to move from a house to a house and not an apartment. We enjoy the company of our neighbors and there is so much to do everyday. Ive spent a lot of time in the woodworking shop. In previous years, Ive served on the resident council as president and the scholarship committee. My wife has served on the dining service committee and country store. Weve traveled outside the country several times and also enjoy going on Westminster cruises to the Caribbean. We are close to our sons in St. Pete, we have options to transfer to other Westminster communities, and we know Westminster will take care of us if we run out of funds. This is a great place!
