Great Tour

Thank you very very much for the welcoming, interesting, and informative tour of the facility this week. Mark took my friend and me for golf cart tour of Tropical Palms and we were fortunate to be able to see inside one of the soon-to-be-occupied homes. We were able to see a couple of the apartments, too. We toured the dining room, fitness room, and other amenities. The place is really beautiful, clean, bright and offers even more than we imagined. Mark was generous with his time and was happy to answer all our questions. If you're considering an independent or assisted living facility, I'd recommend you consider and visit Westminster Manor.

There are so many things we love about life at the Manor. One of the daily things is the wonderful food we have. We rarely go out to eat because we have such great meals every day. Its like eating at a 4 star restaurant with a family atmosphere. After church on Sundays, we dont say to our friends, Lets go to Ruby Tuesdays to eat. We say, you guys come on and eat with us at our place (the Manor). Hard to beat!

My friend recently hosted a party in the Westminster Manor private dining room for 20 of her friends. I assisted with the decor and set up, and I cant say enough great things about the entire Westminster Manor team that helped ensure that the party was a huge success!Luisa and Trenton from the dining room were exceptional in every way! Organized, personable, anticipated all of our needs, and checked back to make sure everything was set up to our satisfaction. Also the staff that delivered the food and cleaned up were so pleasant and sweet - unfortunately I didnt get their names...the food also got rave reviews from all of the invitees!And even though this was a private party, Holly the Activities Director did a great job making sure I was introduced to the right people in advance, to be sure we had the set up that we needed. She also popped in before the party started to make sure we were all set.Its no wonder my friend is so happy in her new home! We appreciate yall taking such good care of her and obviously all of your residents!

Things I love about the Manor: We're not fancy, we're family! The dining room is great. We have professional entertainment. I have lots of girlfriends. The staff is caring and wonderful, especially Marina Anderson the Director of Volunteers. We play cards about four times a week which brings friends closer together. I found my best friend here! I had rehab here after my knee surgery and believe it or not it was a wonderful experience! The Manor is a great place to spend the rest of our lives! Why don't you come and join us?!

The entire staff is very dear and makes your stay personalized and special which really helps you get better faster. Both of my parents and my wife's parents lived in a continuing care community. My wife and i decided we wanted the same thing. Over the years we searched for these extended care communities throughout Florida and Texas. We found many. One day we received an invitation to learn about Westminster Manor, and we attended. We were shown an apartment that we liked and could afford. Within two weeks, we moved in. We love the apartment, we love living here and feel lucky to have received that invitation, four years ago! We recommend it very much. Oh, and the food is great, too!

We are involved with the volunteer programs - from being a pen pal for a local school child to making cards for the health center. There are many activities available for entertainment - music programs, movie nights, social card games and exercise activities. this has been a wonderful move for us and we are completely satisfied with the Westminster Manor

I went for a visit because I am looking at independent living for a family member. The minute I walked in the door I saw the staff helping residents. I felt the community was warm and welcoming. Mark who showed me around knew the residents by name and they knew him. The residents that I saw seemed to enjoy living there.

I did not want my kids to have to care for me at my age. So I thought that it was time, and I turned myself in, so to speak, to live at Westminster Manor. It was within my budget, and that was very important to me. I found that I fit right in: All of my life, my career, has been in religious services as a missionary, a pastor and a teacher, and I found many folks of similar backgrounds, colleagues, who also live here. We can discuss our experiences and share our stories. I can also enjoy the dining, and I have the peace of mind of knowing that the Health Center is here, if I need more care. Living here is quite nice!

If there were an option for more than five stars, I would definitely give Westminster Manor more! As an employer, the Manor is hands down the best. They give so much to their employees and truly care for their well being. The incentives, awards, sign on bonuses and random thank you gifts truly show that they value their employees.It is a welcoming family atmosphere and from staff to residents, while youre at work you feel like youre at home. The best part about living here is that everything is so professional! The maintenance of our home, dinner in the dining room, the housekeeping, the classes and activities we have — everything is very professionally done. The staff are wonderful, friendly and efficient, and we enjoy being with them.Another very important factor to consider is the financial benefit of living here. If you outlive your resources after moving here, they will care for you for the rest of your life. Were very comfortable here. It isnt absolutely perfect, but its extremely good!

Excellent care for broken hip.My dad was in Westminster for 2 months. The staff is caring, attentive, qualified for their work. The permanent staff and management staff are excellent communicators. We had regular care plan conference calls to review my fathers progress. He was included in all the communications. The facility is clean. Programs and social events are diverse and well planned. Occasionally we had a few miscommunications as a result of the temporary staff but they were always quick to fix a situation. For example, getting plastic silverware isnt a crisis, but to my father, it is an offense. The staff brought metal silverware when they overheard his comment. They all made an effort to make him feel at home.

Awesome 5 star food service with a resort feel, great staff, happy residents. The Manor has a family atmosphere where residents are humbled and truly compassionate for one another. Day to day activities meet a variety of residents needs in-house as well as several excursions near from beaches, shopping, educational seminars, annual cruises. The HC is a 5 star rated facility which is measured by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The Manor staff provides services that exceed stellar expectations. I would recommend visiting and joining the lifestyle of choice WESTMINSTER MANOR.

I have been at Westminster Manor for 6 years. During that time, I have witnessed remarkable staff teamwork in times of crisis, (Hurricane Irma), renovations and increase in population. I love to call this place home. When I first walked through the front door, I knew I was at home. I looked at a lot of other communities and this is the place for me. Here, you can be by yourself or you can be with somebody, whatever you want. Plus, the food is good, day in and day out. The staff here are always open to new things. When it comes to having something to do, the resident lifestyle team goes out of their way to make sure theres something for us every day and for every interest. The staff here are dedicated -- all of them!

Moving here means stress-free, carefree living. You can live in your own house, but you dont have to take care of it! For example, two months ago, my wife was doing the laundry and suddenly the machine decided it didnt want to work. All we had to do was call for maintenance, and two hours later, we had a brand-new washing machine. We dont have to worry about our appliances, service contracts, or the costs. You can plan your expenses to the dime. And if one of us has surgery, we can stay in the Health Center for a few weeks to get back on our feet

During Irma, the staff, the volunteer’s and residents did such an amazing job. The care, concern and love they gave to their residents both in independent, assisted and in the Health Center was outstanding. It was a hugh endeavor to move their residents from Tropical Palms into the safety of the Manor and the Garden Apartments added to that to have many others being transferred from other facilities to weather out the storm at the Manor. Many put in long hours and worked tirelessly to make everyone as comfortable as possible as Irma approached. Afterwards to deal without power for over two day and see all the worry and concern showed for the wellbeing of the residents. The maintenance team worked round the clock and when the power went out they put fans in every room and brought in portable A/C units and did such an outstanding job. The Kitchen staff provided meals to the residents, and managed to do a wonderful job. All management and staff that could be there was there and others came in from the Shores and Towers to help. The CNA’s, Nursing Staff and volunteer’s in the Health Center were fantastic. Great job everyone and a special thank you to Debbie Pattinson, what a great team you have. I am so impressed and thankful, all of you at the Manor hold a special place in the hearts of the Gamrot’s. God spared us a Cat 4 or 5 and you showed with team work what can happen even in the hardest of times. God Bless each and every one of you, as we know that you are dealing with your own issues from Irma and many of you are with out power still today. Some of the things that we werent looking for is what we found at other communities. We didnt want to live somewhere that was so dressy, so formal, that we didnt feel comfortable. Westminster Manors not a formal place -- its so casual and friendly. I remember going into several communities, we looked at eight or nine, and had brochures collected on all of them. People didnt look happy! It was amazing to me that we would walk in and people were not very positive, sometimes just down in the dumps. Here, people are so happy. We picked up on it right away and it helped us make our decision. We didnt want to be somewhere people were downcast. This has been such a positive move for us.

My mom and I both love that there are so many things to do at Westminster Manor. She swims six days a week, shes in the choir, she goes to church, and she still has time to do water aerobics. At the same time, she can still have her privacy in her own home. Its an apartment with a great view of the pool, and its a secure place for her to be. She can get to the doctor on the community bus, and some of the doctors even come here. Best of all, she has so many friends here, plus her two cats. The people are very friendly. Its been a very nice experience. My daughter said to me the other day, You should move to Westminster Manor, too!
