I have been visiting this beautiful and immaculate property for almost 3 years with my family. I moved my uncle in under prior ownership, and my father was there under current ownership. What an amazing team of people! Hope is absolutely THE BEST Executive Director! Brandee, Cindy, Diane, Kiera, Fred, and ALL the caregivers are kind, compassionate, and patient. They understand the needs of the resident and of the family members. I consider this the "Taj Mahal" of memory care in our area. You can't go wrong trusting this amazing group of people with your loved one. Highly recommend.

Diane and her staff have been Fantastic, from helping me in setting up my Sister's Netflix to making a special trip to bring her a juice while doing it. As well as overall being extremely kind to her. Now they are helping to encourage my Sister to be walking more. I couldn't ask for a better facility. Diane, her Staff and including Elizabeth in Physical Therapy, are all seriously Second to NONE! 100% Thank you!

My grandmother moved in to the Summit (formerly the Sheridan) in July 2022. She lived there until her passing in March 2024 at age 94. It was her third ALF since her stroke in 2016, and it was by far the best. I live about five minutes away and so I was there often. I was able to see first-hand the attention and care she received from all of the staff. From the CNAs to the nurses to the maintenance and cleaning personnel, I always felt they had her best interests at heart. They have several integrated doctors and PT/OT (though you can keep your own) and because of that they were able to catch a few issues my grandmother was having long before they became critical. There are some things you can tell from a tour - the activities, the physical amenities, maybe even the food. But what you cannot tell, and what matters most, are the people who work there. I'll be forever thankful of the care my grandmother received; it was very much the kind of care I'd hope to receive myself in her place.

Memory Care here was an absolute nightmare under the prior sr. leadership. There have been four different Memory Care Directors in 1.5 years. Things were quite bad - bad enough that the families created a Family Council to surface issues and hold the leadership accountable. The Corporate office has been MIA and unresponsive although the prior sr. leader was replaced recently. The new leader has a lot of energy, enthusiasm, great ideas and passion and has already made significant improvements in staffing, compensation for staff, living conditions and resident care. We hope this will continue. I highly urge Memory Care families to attend the Family Council meetings (first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm) and to install cameras in their loved ones room.

Sheridan Memory Care is my mother's home for the last two years. The staff here is great and they really seem to care about the residents. The community is well managed and is always clean. The facility has bright sunny bedrooms, community rooms and dining halls. The outside courtyard is lovely for the residents to congregate. They have excellent programming which plays a crucial role in extending my mother's life. The activity schedule is busy and supports physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. The Sheridan offers exercise, excursions, art, music, education, community service, spirituality and much more. My family and I are relieved we picked the right facility for my mom.

Shout out to the Sheridan Assisted Living! A+ quality services from the minute you walk through the front door greeted by front desk assistant! Especially, Charlie who always takes the time to ask how my mother is doing and adjusting as she has lived there since August 2020. To the Entertainment Director, Lisa who sees that the residents have some of the best experience from Music entertainment to games, crafts, social activities to special outings! My mother loves the happy hours and socializing! The Director of maintenance Doug and his assistant Johnie are some of the best I've seen when it comes to making sure the place stays in tip top shape and Cindee sure goes over and above to help resident move it and adjust to their new surroundings. The Director Tammy of Nursing and the nursing staff are superior! Always taking care of the residents needs with a smile and caring touch. To the Dining service where Jay has quality and a good variety of food for special events like Holidays and such! Hope always works 24/7 to be sure the Sheridan's residents and their family needs are met timely and passionately! I highly recommend the Sheridan Senior Assisted living for your loved ones that need assistance and want to be in a beautiful, safe, happy environment that they call home with wonderful other Seniors!

My grandmother has been living at the Sheridan for the past two months. It is the third ALF she's lived in over the past six years (the other two were on the other coast). It's been a great experience so far. The level of care has surpassed our expectations. Their integrations with medical providers has made managing my grandmother's substantial medical needs much easier. Cindee made sure the move in was by far the smoothest we've had yet, and Doug, Jonny and the entire Maintenance team have gone above and beyond to help make grandma's studio apartment feel like a home. All of these places look great until you move in, but from the Sheridan is the first place that grandma has lived in that has really delivered on their promises.

The Health and Wellness Director was very good as well, kind and caring and available all the time. The activities were amazing - lots of different types and very friendly people. My mom felt at home here and her family rested easy knowing she was being taken care of.

My mother in law lived at the Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch. It was a very hard transition for her leaving her home and the staff opened their arms & hearts to welcome her. In the 9 months she lived there her health drastically declined and we just lost her last week. When I moved my mother into the Sheridan a year and a half ago, the place was wonderful. She has made friends and enjoys many of the daily activities. Most of the staff there are great. However, the quality of the food has deteriorated considerably. They need to improve the meals that they serve to the residents. Ive eaten there several times and have been duly unimpressed with the offerings.

Great staff, beautiful apartment, food is outstanding, and the care they give the residents is amazing. They are doing everything they can to keep my mom and dad safe during this pandemic. I am so thankful for the Sheridan and the awesome staff in Memory Care!!! They care for my dad like he is their own father...Especially during Covid-19! I cant say enough about good things them! Courtney, the memory Care Director is on it! She responds quickly and know each of the residents personally! When my dad first entered memory care, she helped me transition him....and she helped me through the emotional part too. Heather is in charge of activities and has such a wonderful way with the residents. She has been FaceTiming twice a week so I can see my dad! She has a wonderful disposition and you can tell she cares. Everyone from the nursing staff to the Med Techs and even maintenance is so helpful and caring. Regina, Ashley, Cornelius, Malcom, Tashauna, Karen, Vanyola, Jasmine, Daphne, Shanette, Brittany, and Lindsey, and Robert in maintenance! I dont want to miss anyone. Thank you staff for caring and working so hard! Your jobs arent easy. Thank you for being on the front line every day! My family and I appreciate you and we would recommend The Sheridan of Lakewood Ranch!

Mom has been living here since shortly after they opened a little more than a year ago. A very nice ALF off LWR just north of 70. Mom likes it. Plenty of activities daily, a variety of menu items and 24 hr nursing.

Excellent facility with a loving, caring staff. After an extended hospital and rehab stay, my mother arrived in a weakened physical state but due to great care and pleasant environment, she is thriving. Good food, many activities to keep seniors active, and a well-executed care plan.
