Staff is wonderful. Jorge was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. Cynthia is a great CNA. She helped me with getting my loved one's clothes marked and checked in. The DON was helpful and answered questions about care. I don't know who the case manager/social worker was. I would think someone would get him officially registered. I'm his health care surrogate but no one has contacted me yet.

I was sent here for PT due to a broken ankle that required pins and a rod to repair. The Physical therapy was the only thing that was worth going here for. The therapists were all excellent and knowledgeable. The food was horrible and although there were several outstanding nurses and aides, there were also many rude aides who should be fired due to rudeness, neglect and laziness. The condition of the facility is very old, cobwebs everywhere, broken and/or outdated beds and furniture. Needs to be completely renovated.

I’d like to share my positive experience with Manatee Springs Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bradenton, Florida. The staff was extremely friendly and consistently attentive to the needs of my family member during his stay. Throughout my visits, I found everyone to be very helpful and willing to take the time to explain the facility and the level of care they provide. Several individuals truly went above and beyond to assist us, including Sue Duncan, LPN (Unit 2 Manager), Amber Branham, Business Manager, Kim Perkins, and Brenda (Nursing Supervisor), along with many other staff members whose names I may have unfortunately forgotten. Although my family member was only there for a short time, his rehabilitation was a success. I was able to walk out of the facility with him, which speaks volumes about the quality of care, dedication, and attention he received. Thank you to everyone at Manatee Springs for the important work you do each day to support residents, patients, and their families during what can be a very challenging time.

Everyone was so helpful at the rehab center today. My dear friend, looked good. Her room was clean. The only comment I would make that could make my visit even better was to clean the floors in the hall. They needed sweeping and mopping. otherwise everything was in good shape.

Had my dad in there for about a week now. People are absolutely outstanding! Angel, Sue, and Nicole were extra special. Along with Christine. Always calls and texts me right back if i have a question. If i could give 10 stars i would. If anyone looking for a place , i don't think it gets much better than this. As far as the staff goes. The food is really good also. Beds are extremely comfortable in my opinion also. Not a complaint really, but if i had to change something would be a little more selection for the tv, my dad really likes watching sports and there is no golf channel, or anything besides espn. But he does fine, just i know hes having hard time finding stuff to watch, which ill prob bring a roku stick up for him. Fantastic place!

I have been visiting my stroke victim friend for 5 weeks now, I don't know all the staff names yet but I tried to learn the most impressive ones. Head floor nurse Branda, room nurse Jordan, physical therapy staff, one and all. They all have a very hard job and do a very good job. Thanks ‘ Update; after almost 6 months at Manatee Center our friend was releast and sent home. She is still doing well. I still have not changed my opinion of Manatee Reab Center, they are wonderful. Of course with any facility like this there are always a few bad apples but I want to repeat comments on the best ones. Head nurse Brenda, CNA Jordan, CNA Alma, Therapy chief Nicole, Therapist Jasmine, Therapist Patric and last but not least CNA Trina. Months later we all still talk about how difficult things would have been had it not been for thses wonderful care givers. Thank you for all you do.

Manatee Springs is a nice place for rehab for my brother. The people were very friendly and the nurse explained everything she could about his rehab. She was very courteous and kind, in fact, everyone I came into contact with today were. The atmosphere was calming for my brother who did not want to go to rehab. By the time I was leaving, he was comfortable and relaxing.

The administrative team is great! Everyone is so involved with all the residents. They are very receptive and proved immediate feedback any time I have a question. The nursing staff, dietary and housekeeping staff are very efficient as well. When I chose this facility, I had concerns. It is an older building in a questionable area. From the moment I entered, the treatment was amazing. I was placed on the 2nd floor, near the rehab gym. This facility is clean. The staff members are wonderful. They truly do care. Some of the food was lousy, and they often brought items I said I dont eat. However, a good deal of it was good. I was never hungry. Outside meal delivery took care of that. My love and prayers go to everyone there. When I improve, I'll visit them.

During Hurricane Milton my mom was nervous, I was happy to hear how the Maintenance guy Don assured her he was taking care of as many comforts as possible. Working hard to find equipment to keep the building running that he would worked endlessly to make sure she was OK. She felt better knowing Don and Jim worked during and after the storm. Very devoted, loving, personal, caring, professional staffed employees..working 24/7 caring for and tending to every need of every loved one that is living there...I visited my Momma there every shift, meeting with doctors, nurses, staff, seeing how my Momma reacted, and how each one was invested invested in getting to understand her, take care of her personally, and work with her as a unique person, and it really touched me how well they do know every one living there..They keep the same staff with each one, to avoid upsetting them, and keep them comfortable with the same care, same ones caring for them...and they really keep a close eye on them..it was very comforting to me for my Momma. My neice and my Son visited her and witnessed this as well, and saw how comfortable she was with her care, and she called it home, and her space her house..and very much was grateful for the nurses help and care. I cannot thank the staff enough for all they do, with all my heart. The walls, building may not look fancy, but thats not what matters to our loved ones, or should matter...its what is going on inside..its the care..the love that is given and trusted...the security and peace of mind that they have attained in the rhymn of their routine that they can count on in how things are done, and trust in their great care 24/7...it is a blessing. God bless everyone there.

The care of the regular CNAs and 1st and 3rd shift nurses were excellent! If you got a part time, or agency person they not only couldn’t speak English they couldn’t understand English. One night I was given to much pain medication and another time my scheduled pain medication wasn’t even given, ended up being 3 hours late. A male nurse on 2nd shift threatened me! He said he would give me my pain medication when he felt like it and then walked out of the room closing the door. Very poor PT! I was there for almost 2 weeks and made very little improvement. Only time you could get up and walk was at PT. There was no available to help you to walk through out the day. I was there for a full knee replacement. They did not have appropriate equipment to deliver good PT. No chairs to sit in in your room. Pretty much spent 23 hours of a day in the bed. Asked for head administrator to come see me and he/she never came around! On one occasion I witness a CNA being rough with an elderly gentleman who had no idea what was going on. I regret the day I agreed to go to this facility.

Manatee Springs is a wonderful facility. They are very clean and very professional and have provided wonderful care for my lifelong friend who I am Power of Attorney for. My friend has had the best of care from a staff who is very attentive to her needs, and her health has remained very stable and she has even shown signs of improvement. I have nothing but praises for Manatee Springs! Don't let these negative reviews fool you. I have had nothing but a great experience with a facility who provides great care and are wonderful! My dear friend who was there for over 2 years just passed away last week. All of the staff made it so obvious that she was very loved and was given the best of care. She was so comfortable and I know she felt truly loved and cared for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, especially to Christopher her nurse, John Owens, the front desk receptionists, and everyone else who made her feel so loved and cared for. The compassion and comfort provided to her family and me was just unbelievable. Thank you to all you Angels on earth.

This Facility is phenomenal!! My Mother has been there since Mid August 2022. No comparison to the last three facilities she was in!! The others were just awful! She was so depressed, she lost weight and I fought long and hard to get my mother into a place where she would get the proper treatment and care she needs and deserves!! With the assistance of my wonderful umbudsman who worked with me for months to get her to a place that cares and treats the residents with dignity and respect. Everyone at Manatee Springs is so pleasant and the residents are happy that speaks volumes on how Manatee Springs cares and treats their residents like family. I was very satisfied from the moment I took my mother here you feel the compassion & positive vibes from the moment you walk in. It is clean and very nice. since she has been at Manatee Springs she has gained weight and she is socializing making new friends doing activities which makes me very happy!! She has flourished compared to the state she was in before coming here. It warms heart!! The administrator Steve Oelfke is doing a wonderful job!! He is very caring & compassionate it shows all around!! & The staff is great!! The Nurses and aids are wonderful they treat my mother like she is their Mom and this means so much to me. So if you are in need of putting your loved one into a Nursing home or for rehabilitation this is the place you would want them to be without worrying if they are okay I promise!! Believe me what my mother and I have been through these past few months has been an emotional roller-coaster we were so traumatized by the treatment of the other facilities she was in just HORRIBLE!! Now she is in a better place and this is how ALL Nusrsing Homes should be!! Thank you Steve Oelfke, Jenny,Stacy,Amanda,Cathy, Niki, Natasha So many more to Thank. I Was at another rehabilitation establishment. I got COVID.. so I was bough to MANATEE SPRINGS GULF UNIT Today is Day 13th treatment of COVID. The Nurses were professional as well as kind, loving & caring . They actually called my family to ask some personal questions as,what was my past & present interest like, hobbies, music, art or what ever. This way they can ask questions to make patience’s feel more comfortable. They are always checking vitals making sure you medical needs are met. They have a wound Doctor, physical & occupational therapy & so much more. The nurses are out standing in medical profession as well as treating you like one of their own family members. I enjoy all my healthy meals. Care is excellent ***** I am now out of the GULT UNIT ( COVID) showing great progress I’m giving it 5 STARS
