What a great place to have a loved one stay. The staff is so friendly and dedicated to the well-being of my father and others living in this facility. I always feel very welcomed when registering for a visit. The receptionist is very engaging and will tell me something pleasant about my Dad since my last visit. I find that comforting. This is a well managed facility from the top down and everyone is engaged with their part of the operation. My Dad has been here for almost 2 years and is doing remarkably well thanks to the Inspired Living team! Merry Christmas everyone!

My dad has been here for over 6 months and I can't say enough about the care he's received. He is so happy and content and everyone goes out of their way to make sure he is so well taken care of. It would be too hard to pick a staff favorite as they are all fantastic. His room is spotless, he's well fed, the activities are all day and they all care about him as a person. I am so glad I made the decision to move him to Hidden Lakes and their beautiful facility.

It was a difficult move, but from day 1 when we were preparing the room, to this very day, Karen, is a godsend. She is always there, making certain all is clean, cared for and comfortable. The transition of the move-in was a difficult decision, but they made it as easy and as pleasant as possible. This facility was a life saver in a very stressful time. Kathyrn the Executive Director, Sue Duncan, and everyone else are wonderful! The facility is spotless, the meals are beyond yummy, and the care has been amazing. The residents are kept as active as their individual conditions allow and they're encourage to participate in the daily activities. The grounds are very nice and there is even a putting green and screened in Gazebo. With prayers for a better 2022, it has started out great!

I'm giving this facility a 5 star, although when we moved our Mother to Inspired living, June 2021 & watching how she was cared for, then, I would have gave them a 1 Star. Since they removed Don & brought in Kathryn, Michelle, & Robert of this year a lot changed. They removed the riff-raff aids & brought in ones that did their their job & took care of the residents much better. Before that our Mother was neglected when she was in her room. No food or drinks. We provided a fridge & snacks so she'd have something to eat & drink while in her room. She didn't know she was supposed to go to the dining room to eat. With having a camera in her room as a family we were able to monitor her. This was very heart broken to see, & I made it known many times when I went there to see the Administrator. Mother excepted Inspired living as her home until the day she passed away. She put a lot of smiles on their faces, with her sense of humor. No matter where you place your loved one, make sure you oversee their care. I want to Thank Kathryn, & especially Michelle for stepping up to the plate & making so many good changes to this facility, so the residents are now getting much better care. Robert is doing an awesome job taking care of the grounds & rooms. It's a lot more cleaner as well, in the rooms especially. Mother's in her Heavenly Home. Thank-you Jesus

There are many difficult choices that arise as loved ones begin cognitive decline. All of the choices are stressful and emotionally difficult. The health of the family member has to be a significant consideration in addition to memory needs and the specific level of care necessary. IL Hidden Lakes has an engaged staff providing structured care and security for the resident. I always found staff to be cordial and supportive to the resident regardless of the situation. They display patience and empathy. Support staff were responsive and provided any necessary status reports relative to needs and health concerns. I believe IL Hidden Lakes reflects a concern for the ongoing costs of care and attempts to provide solutions for all levels of need. There are likely more luxurious facilities (there are certainly much worse), but the care staff approach is the most critical issue and I found IL Hidden Lakes to have excellent personnel and engagement with the residents.

The staff is friendly and takes time to relay important details about moms needs and wants. They are always kind and caring and the facility is always clean. From the time my mom moved into Inspired Living, I have had a great feeling! Any questions I had, were answered right away. I live in Pennsylvania and my mom is in Florida. It is not easy for me to visit her, especially with the pandemic. The staff has made it possible for me to talk to her, anytime I want, by phone. They also post videos and photos on Facebook, so I can see all the activities they do each day! I cant wait to meet all the people, in person, who are taking such good care of my mom. My mom lived in Hidden Lakes for two years. I moved her there from another facility that literally gave me 7 days to move her out (after caring for her for less than a month) because she was too much work. I live in another state and had just spent two weeks off work trying to get mom settled into the other place, so this situation was very stressful for me. Hidden Lakes really went above and beyond to help me - giving me a virtual tour, and helping me and mom move for the second time in a month. When mom moved in, they made me feel much better by assuring me she was by far their highest functioning resident and they made her feel better by making her the honorary activities helper until she settled in (to keep her occupied and help her make friends). The staff at Hidden Lakes all truly cares about the residents. Mom loved the food. She seemed very happy there - always smiling during the activities. I wish Id known about the Facebook page sooner - the pics on there are great. When we had to call Hospice, the staff really amazed me with how far they went to make her last month happy and comfortable. When she died, I felt it hit them as hard as me. She was really loved there. Even living 1000 miles away, I felt confident my mother was well cared for and happy. My only reasons for not giving a 5 star review are that communication was sometimes a struggle. But, in their defense, they probably dont usually deal with caregivers that live in another state. And I felt they were under-staffed. Every time either my private caregiver or I were there, the staff were working way harder than is really fair, I thought. But by golly, they were working hard to keep everyone healthy, safe and happy. I do strongly recommend Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes.

Employee Christina Green is awesome. Each time I visit my mother I see Christina working. She is compassionate and seems to love her work. There is difference between employees who enjoy their jobs and those who dont. Christina is always thoughtful and considerate to the residents. She takes time to speak to residents, give a hug where needed and attend to their needs. She always asks my wife and I if we need anything and updates us on my mother. She always asks if there is anything my mother needs. Employees like Christina make a difference !!!

My grandmother moved into Inspired Living about a week ago and I am beyond impressed. Darlene, the sales director, made me feel so comfortable through the entire process from showing me the facility, answering all my questions and even helping my grandmother move from rehab to here. They break everything down and make it as simple as possible for you to understand. They give you a list of everything you need and even have you fill out information on your loved one so they get to know them! The staff (shout out to Shannon, Caitlin, Heather and Angela!) always greet you with a smile and without even having to ask, gives you an update on how shes doing. This transition is not easy and the staff here made it so much better! Thank you Inspired Living for taking AMAZING care of my sweet grandma!!

I visited several memory care facilities before someone recommended Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt at peace. The staff comforted me, cried with me, helped me through the paperwork process and took my mothers hand and led her to her new life. My phone calls were always greeted with kindness and support. The facility is clean and the residents are happy with all the activities that are available to them.During the hurricanes, I routinely received phone calls updating loved ones of the situation.Mom has since passed and the staff, again, cried with me. I will always feel as though the staff was part of my extended family. I would highly recommend Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes.
