Maya and all of the staff at Grand Villa Boynton Beach are extremely patient, kind, caring and helpful. Our mom moved in yesterday and was very nervous. Everyone introduced themselves and answered all questions to make her feel welcome and comfortable. Thanks Maya and staff at BB GV for being so welcoming. Everyone from the maintenance crew, nurses, activities coordinator, housekeeping ,moving company and more were so patient and hard working. There was a very nice magic show today which was very enjoyable. We cannot say enough good things about Maya, a very loving and considerate person.

The food & meals are also delicious, especially the salmon. The decor is also very clean, updated & beautiful. Grand Villa also has a lovely patio and a pool which is a nice feature. Mixed experience. BEWARE! There is ZERO medical management information given prior to signing the lease agreement. This can become a MAJOR problem. If they control medication with "their" revolving roster of Doctors, you will not know WHAT they are giving your loved one. Be aware of the extremely aggressive measures they take to "neutralize" the new patient to their bidding. The patient has zero privacy. They go through ALL of the patients belongings, while they are out of the room. And, there is forced medication management @ a $350. per month surcharge, utilizing a Florida State loop hole to favor the Facilities. The patient has zero consideration. Your Doctor, your family, your nurses have zero clout. They demand the control over meds [Red Flag in my book]. Personal items are removed without permission or consideration. Your loved one will be "trained" by inhumane methods. Outside of that, the facility is beautifully run, tastefully appointed, clean, bright, with many activities and a pleasant, helpful staff. Unfortunately, the new strong arm tactics of the Resident Care dept, puts a damper on the experience.

The memory care unit at Grand Villa of Boynton Beach is a great fit for my mom. The rooms were very comfortable and the shared area was set up to create an atmosphere that draws the residents in to participate in the daily activities. All of the staff members were very professional, friendly and show a caring attitude towards the residents. The facility has the feel of a resort, rather than a nursing home which made the transition for mom much easier.

My husband's mother moved to Grand Villa Boynton several days ago. Our first contact was with Gretchen, who explained the pricing, options and services offered. The staff are pleasant, professional and above all, responsive. Nurses Jackie and Diana saw mom day one and all her medications were ready. They also checked in on her several more times. Dr. Joan made a house call the first day to introduce herself and learn about mom. We noticed two minor maintenance issues that were quickly resolved by Pablo and others. Nikki patiently and cheerfully explained the dining process to mom. Activities coordinator Lori reached out and has included mom in exercise and other social activities. Grand Villa director Shawna made herself available to answer family questions. Mom seems quite happy and we have a good feeling about her future here.

Grand Villa is a 5 star haven for the elderly in the middle of Boynton Beach. My mother just completed a 2.5 year stay there before moving north with me. They excel at their purpose: providing a safe environment where one reliably receives medications, meals, room cleaning, laundry services and more. The current leadership with Director Grossman and lead nurse Paulette are a class act. All that said, one should enter with your eyes open. This is not a long term care facility with 24 hour nursing services and medical management. That is another more expensive level of care. You are responsible for all medical management for your relative. As with the entire industry, they are stressed by the pandemic. Added costs to operate, minor staff losses with the great resignation. You will have the most peace of mind if you have the phone number of key personnel, the head nurse and director, so you can address service level changes (the director) or insure a relative is showered snd ready if you are visiting (nursing office).

When you enter Grand Villa you are always greeted kindly by the front desk person! This place feels like home not a 'facility'. There is always music playing or activities and residents of any ability seem to hang out with friends at the pool or living room. Food is good too- mom wasn't eating well when she arrived at Grand Villa and gained 15 lbs in a year and looks much more healthy now. Thank you Grand Villa!!!!

My 92 year old mom was living in a facility for independent living for the last two years. Since Covid hit last February, she became isolated because she had to stay in her room. She has dementia. This November she got Covid from an aide. She had to be moved to the hospital for a week and then to rehab where she spent 10 days. Her needs changed drastically and I started looking for a new facility for her. I live in New Jersey, so this was a very difficult process long distance. I had to do everything online. We were terrifically fortunate to find Sashoy at the GrandVillas. From the moment we met her, she was unbelievable! She did a virtual tour with us of the facility. She showed us the different apartments, the activities available, helped us to make arrangements with movers, explained thoroughly all the paperwork, and assisted us in getting my mom the proper level of care that she needed now. Sashoy played an integral part in getting my mom transitioned to a new environment with kindness and compassion. She helped us with setting up doctor care and most importantly, made my mom feel safe as she transitioned into the Grand Villas. In conclusion, I would like to commend Sashoy on her vast knowledge of every single process needed to get my mom settled. She accomplished this all with a warm understanding and empathy for all the seniors that she works with. You can see she is quite amazing, doing a job that she clearly loves. When you factor in the long distance I had to deal with, you can really appreciate why I have such fond comments about her. Lastly, Id just like to say that Sashoy continues to be responsive to all of our continuing needs. She even helps us occasionally to communicate with my mom on social media with FaceTime. I couldnt be happier with her professionalism and her keen ability to help senior citizens feel confident and protected as they face new challenges in their lives!!

My grandmother recently moved into Grand Villa of Boynton Beach. It was so hard for our family to admit that we could not take care of her anymore. When we finally moved her, she blossomed. She plays bingo, and card games. She loves sitting out by the beautiful pool. Some of the apartments have pool views, although hers does not. Chef Michael is amazing, and so is Troy the dining room manager. We met them while we toured and they promised us great meals and service, both have been consistently stellar. Grandma loves her meals, especially the variety and everyday options. The community itself is very homey. All the residents are friendly and the staff seem to enjoy their jobs. The sales girls Mary and Irene are very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. We felt like they genuinely cared about helping our family. The head nurse is wonderful, we feel at ease knowing Christine is in charge of our grandmas care. The Director is very hands on. We see him out and about every-time we visit. We wish we have made this move sooner.

Florence, Mary, Cindy, and so many others have become my family, too. They may claim to look like home and feel like family, but as far as Im concerned, Grand Villa Boynton Beach FEELS like home and IS family.

My father recently moved into Grand Villa of Boynton Beach. Everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us coordinate the move-in from the rehab facility, and thoroughly explained the different living and care options that fit our budget as well as his needs and wants. They have been extremely caring and kind in helping my father get settled and ensure he is comfortable and safe. They have gone out of their way keep me updated on his progress and to help coordinate his medical appointments. After several stressful months of hospital stays and health issues for him, I felt a great sense of relief when he said that Grand Villa is the best facility he has ever lived in and that he is happy to live there. Thanks to the excellent care and living conditions at Grand Villa, I have already seen improvements in his health and well-being. We are grateful to everyone at Grand Villa and thankful that he has such a nice place to live.

My family member moved into Grand Villa of Boynton Beach a few months ago. She was so nervous at first, because she didnt know what to expect. Grand Villa has surpassed her expectations in a variety of ways. She loves the easy access to all the amenities. Everything is very easy to find. She spends most of her day outside at the covered patio facing the pool. She loves the food, in particular the salmon option because it comes with an amazing lemon butter sauce. She tells me that every couple of hours the chef replenishes the bistro with warm cookies or brownies. The care staff is very friendly. Most of them have worked at Grand Villa for over 3 years. I am so happy our doctor highly recommended Grand Villa.

My father came to live at Grand Villa in Boynton Beach, Fl.this past April. He is in the Assisted Living Floor in his own apartment. I have had the opportunity to eat a few meals with him and I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed them.My favorite was their All You Can Eat Crab Legs and Shrimp Boil Dinner that they had for those who didn’t mind paying a little extra for a special meal in their activity room.Their servers were delightful ladies who planned it for the residents and their families to attend.It was a wonderful experience and my Dad loved it.The front desk clerk, Florence, came to my rescue when my father called crying that he was sick and needed some depends as there weren’t anymore in his room.I called Florence, told him Dad was in a ’panic’ and needed some ASAP. She immediately saw to it that Dad had a Brand new pack in his hands within minutes!Now that I call service! Thanks, Flo! I have loved getting to know all of the staff as well as the residents there. I always get a ’hello’ or a ’wave’ from each and every one of them. Their motto is ’looks like home and feels like family’.OK, I agree that living away from your own home isn’t exactly ’perfect’ and there are always little personal ’quirks’ that have to be ’ironed out, but I find the place charming and my Dad really loves the people there.If There’s something I or Dad Find ’not quite right, I just give them a call and they come to our rescue.Thanks, Grand Villa Staff! It was very difficult for me to have 'That Conversation" with my Dad, Frankie, about it being time to admit that living at home alone was no longer safe. After a couple of dangerous falls, my Dad agreed. Coming to live with me, his only child was not an option for my very independent Father. That started the difficult task of finding a place that felt like home and offered those extras that would assist my Dad with his everyday needs in the least restrictive environment, one that fed his strong sense of independence, self reliance and social nature. I looked at quite a few Assisted Living Communities and after careful consideration and heartfelt conversations with Staff, we chose Grand Villa of Boynton Beach as my Dads new residence. I was very surprised at how reasonable the price was for a community with these kinds of amenities. There's a bus for shopping and offsite activities and if a resident still drives, they can bring their car. No long term leases to worry about and the prices for different levels of service are very affordable. It has generators and is on the same grid as the Fire Station, right next door so in and emergency, if power is ever lost, its one of the first grids to be restored. That was important to me. Mary Dorazio, Leasing Coordinator was wonderful, kind and patient. She made my Dad feel special and welcome and she worked with me to craft a package that I could handle. After a tour and lunch in the beautiful dining room, my Dad felt comfortable and met several residents that assured him he would love it. The Pool and Cabana area really made my Dad happy. The paperwork was easy to understand and was made even simpler for me by Ed Trotta, Executive Director. Staff is always accommodating and Nursing Staff is top notch. I looked at everything in the area. My Dad and I chose Grand Villa of Boynton Beach. It was worth the effort.
