We called Comfort Keepers in Delray Beach for help while my mother was hospitalized after a major heart attack. We couldn’t be with her 24 hours a day and felt the care in the hospital was extremely lacking… Comfort Keepers immediately provided companion care for her and gave all of us some peace of mind! My mother passed away in hospice, with Colleen from Comfort Keepers there to hold her hand.I can’t rave enough about William and the companions he provided … especially dear Colleen. Comfort Keepers exceeded even our greatest expectations. At a time for our family that was truly heartbreaking, they managed to take care of our mom so thoughtfully and fully, it truly was a blessing for us and our mom. Our daytime aide, Colleen, was outstanding. She really bonded with our mom, took special care to notice what made her more comfortable, what music she liked, and was overall keenly aware of what my mom, and the whole family, needed. So thankful for all the good care.

During a difficult period in which my Grandma was staying at Delray Medical Center, we noticed that the nurses and doctors at the hospital were understaffed and was leading to additional pain and suffering. While we were visiting 2x-3x a day, we needed someone to be bedside with my Grandma at all times to ensure that she was getting the proper care that was needed from the hospital staff. We called Comfort Keepers and sensing the urgency of the situation, they were able to meet us at the hospital within a couple hours, and subsequently schedule companions within 12 hours of our initial call. Every companion from Comfort Keepers was incredible - they played my Grandma's favorite music, made sure she was getting prompt care from the nurses and doctors, and made a world of difference during a time when we felt helpless. While I hope we will never need their services again, I would recommend them to anyone facing a similar situation.

My mom moved in with us on Nov 27th and I got home care from Comfort Keepers for the late afternoon into bedtime hours. We LOVE Althea and Maltide! After just a month theyre part of the family and I love that Mom lights up when she sees them. Thank you!

Deborah and Ed are lovely, caring and dedicated. Both provide a wealth of information and resources to the families they are helping. Most important, however, is the compassion and care their caregivers gave to our family. Moms needs were always their primary concern. Caring for a loved one usually impacts the entire family; Deborah and Ed were available for questions and encouragement. Our family was able to recharge, reconnect and know Mom was safe.
