I toured this facility for my parents. The staff is so knowledgeable and taught me so much on my journey of finding the best place! The decor is uplifting, the layout is conducive to elder care. It allows independence for the resident and comfort for their loved ones that they are taken care of. A huge bonus of this facility, is that it has onsite Physical Therapy.

The staff is amazing and the facility is beautiful and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing happy hour with our mom.

Ridgefield Station was the answer to our family's prayers. After caring for my wife for many years at home, I realized that I couldn't meet all her needs and keep her safe, even with the help of my adult children. After researching at-home care options and many facilities, both near and far, we found Ridgefield Station right in our backyard! The staff makes the place special. It is obvious that they truly care. From the administrators, the nursing staff, directors and all the other workers and aides, Ridgefield Station, is blessed with an incomparable staff. My wife gets personalized attention from the aides there to meet her daily needs. After adjusting to the move to Compass, my wife feels safe and at home. There is space to have a private visit or to engage with other residents in the community, and it has been nice getting to know the other residents, their family members, and the staff who care for my wife. On top of that, the place is beautiful. State of the art, modern, yet very homey. It is beautifully designed and appointed. The meals are of high quality and served attentively. The place runs smoothly— everyone cooperates towards the common goal of making sure that all the residents are cared for properly, and that all their needs are met—all in a pleasant atmosphere. A big thank you to everyone at Ridgefield Station! -Roland

A wonderful place, for both residents and families. Tons of activities (especially music!), a great space, wonderful caring staff and a responsive leadership team. There are also lots of fun events that bring together residents, families, and the larger Ridgefield community. One thing I would recommend to anyone looking at Ridgefield Station is to ask about ways to try it out. We were invited to tea with three residents, then agreed to stay for two weeks, and were so impressed it soon became "home". The community works together to make it easy for newcomers to integrate into all the activities. The physical therapy and other services offered onsite are also really great.

A truly fantastic community!

Like many, my mother resisted this move. She moved in "for the summer" and after a few weeks, was settled in. She made great friends and raved about many on the staff. The activies directors and admin staff went out of their way to make her and all residents comfortable and happy. The residents describe their cameraderie as "like a family." I loved to visit and see my new "old" friends. I loved having my mom only 10 minutes away: I could easily visit her daily. I was able to have a lot of involvment in her care and because of that, I could understand the complexity of managing a place like this. I highly recommned Ridgefield Station.

My mom moved to Atria in Ridgefield in Sept of 2020 to the Memory Care Floor. The communication from the leadership and staff, during a very challenging time, has been excellent. I am very confident about the level of care and support she is receiving. The facility is beautiful and the leaders of the memory care are amazing. With a serious case of dementia, it is such a huge relief to know my mom is in a place providing structure with kindness and wonderful support.
September 2021
My mother's decision to move into assisted living at Atria Ridgefield in December of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, brought with it conflicting emotions, as we helped her move into a new home where we would no longer be able to see her on a daily basis. I cannot say enough about the efforts of the entire staff to make both my mother and the family comfortable as this transition took place. Although we were unable to tour the facility in person, Maureen provided us with the next best thing: a cell phone video walking tour so that we could see the actual apartments my mother was considering and had the ability to get answers to any questions. My mother likes the fact that the apartment is hers. She can arrange it and decorate as she chooses. Because of the visiting restrictions, the family is greatly indebted to Chris, the maintenance director, who along with his staff has been most helpful with furniture moves. Enough cannot be said about Colleen, the nurse coordinator who came to assess my mother's needs prior to her move. She embodies the best in nursing care. Every interaction with her attests to her sincere interest in the needs of the residents. After a medical episode resulted in my mother's temporary residence in a rehabilitation center, imagine her surprise when she received flowers from Atria there. She was delighted, after her rehab was complete, to return to her apartment. And as we, her family, look forward to the day we can visit her in person, we are grateful that she is happy in the caring community that is the Atria.

My widowed father moved into Atria August 2020 in response to the isolation he was experiencing due to Covid. It was a bit of a challenge to convince him that giving up the sense of independence he had living on his own would be worth the social stimulation and support he would gain. Despite the need to restrict visits and social distancing, Atria has managed to keep him feeling connected to the residents and our family. At 91 years old he is making new friends, trying out new activities and learning new skills and talents. The staff is professional, warm and are committed to the residents happiness and safety. I have found them to be very responsive with communication. This is the way to age well and with grace!

I have been lucky enough to tour Atria Ridgefield both by Zoom and in person. The residents socializing in the foyer seemed to be enjoying themselves as they had just had Happy Hour. As business partners, the associates at Atria have extended the utmost professional courtesy and support to our facilities during COVID times. We have also been fortunate enough to care for one of their residents for short term rehab and were happy to discharge her home to Atria. Their clinical staff takes good and thorough care of their residents and we will continue to refer to them. Pam Shepperd Katra, Hancock Hall & Filosa

My 87 year old mom has been at Atria Ridgefield for almost two months. She really is very happy there and tells me that she feels like she's on vacation! My mom love activities, so she's taking advantage of everything offered - from bingo to art to happy hour to movie night! My sisters and I are so pleased with Atria. It's wonderful to know that our Mom is safe and happy!
April 2021
My mom has been there since mid-August and has a whole new lease on life. She had been living in a different senior residence more than an hour from me for some time and with the onset of COVID and the complete shut down of all activities and community dining and interaction had become increasingly lethargic, stopped taking her meds and seemed to be just waiting to die. She is 99 but has always had a sharp mind and it seemed to be fading. Moved her into Atria and despite COVID they still manage activities, socially distanced, and communal dining, socially distanced. I get to see her as often as I choose even though a plastic door covering separates and I can't touch her. But we can sit on opposite sides and chat. She is so happy and so am I. My mom is now 10 minutes from my husband and me and the staff at Atria have been thoughtful and so very kind. She has met some other residents and can chat with them, albeit from a distance. The only thing that would please us more is to see the end of Covid-19 when we could all hug once again.

Mom has been super happy at Atria in Ridgefield. In fact, she is having so much fun that I can barely get a hold of her these days. She is loving the dining, physical therapy, movie nights and has made many friends in the community. Thank you Atria!

Luxury living at it's best! It was an absolute pleasure working with Maureen and Margarida at Atria Ridgefield! The community is gorgeous! It's location, can't be beat! They go above and beyond in screening everybody who comes into the community and even provide them each with a mask! As a result, they have fared well during this pandemic and it shows. Their residents look very happy to be there.

Working at Atria Ridgefield allows me to be a member of a professional, supportive team. The community is a beautiful place to work and my interactions with the residents and staff are always pleasant. Employees are respectful and hardworking, management meets them with the same. I'm so happy to be a part of it all.
November 2020
During Covid shutdown at the retirement community where mom was residing I noticed a significant progression of her dementia due to isolation and lack of stimulation. She has been living at Atria of Ridgefield in Life Guidance since they opened in July. Now she is cared for by wonderful, dedicated professionals 24/7 and able to safely socialize and participate in many activities tailored to her interests.
November 2020
My mother's move to Atria has been wonderful. She was living on her own and her world was getting smaller as fewer friends were around and we were always worried about her well-being. At Atria, she's been engaged with the numerous activities and with the other residents. The 24-7 worry is gone. The facilities are new and beautiful, and the staff and other residents are terrific. Thanks so much.
November 2020
We are so glad that Mom chose Atria. She has the perfect balance of independence and assistance that she needs at this point in her life. She has privacy in her lovely apartment and she can always reach out to the incredibly helpful staff if she needs support. In some ways, it is like Mom is back in college - making new friends, participating in social activities, eating meals that someone else makes (delicious and varied options), and having stories to share with family and old friends at the end of each day. She loves it!
June 2020
My 90+ great uncle and his beloved wife relocated to Atria recently and the team there could not have been more warm & welcoming -- and extra cautious, given COVID-era living. I've also had the professional pleasure of working with the Atria team at one of our catered luncheons at Lounsbury House and the menu was out of this world! Exquisite culinary & a professional, caring staff -- a wonderful addition to Ridgefield.
November 2019
My Mother-in-law moved into this beautiful new facility last month. She is one tough customer and let me tell you, she is thrilled there. As her children, we are happy with the Covid precautions they are taking there. They go above and beyond. We feel she is very safe there. As far as my MIL, she loves the food, activities (especially art and discussion group) and the salon. She has made many new fast friends. But what she is most impressed with is the caring and compassionate staff. We are blessed that she is feeling very at home at the Atria Ridegfield.
