Our experience with Hyland Hills Senior Living has been wonderful! From our initial contact, the staff responded quickly and went above and beyond to help us through every step of the process. Making the decision and then moving a family member into assisted living can be challenging and emotional, everyone at Hyland made this transition and the process as smooth as possible. The first question they had was asking about our family member before they told us anything about what their site offered. From that step on, it was clear to us their focus is on the person and enriching their personal life. We chose Hyland because we were really impressed with the level of activity and engagement throughout the community. Other communities would talk about activities, engagement, etc but residents were not out or about when we visited at different times of the day. At Hyland, there is always something happening, and it’s clear how much thought goes into keeping residents active, connected, and involved. A main concern of ours was making sure he was engaged and having his life enriched vs just existing. The staff remembered us from brief interactions and learned his name so quickly - it really shows how much they care about each person. The move to assisted living was challenging for our family member. Hyland let him set his own pace, kept engaging and within a few weeks our family member was praising the staff, the activities, talking to us about friends he met or had reconnected with, getting more involved on his own and telling us how great the views were from the 5th floor, how everyone knew his name, etc. Love to see him engaged and really thriving!! He’s got far more going on at Hyland than he did before on his own!

Mom has been a Memory Care Resident since the May of 2025. The Aides and staff are all fantastic and they help the Residents individually with the care and respect they deserve. This is the Facility I would want to be in if I were to ever need it. I have learned so much from the Aides & staff in what it takes to be a better CareGiver.

My 86-year old mom has been living at Hyland Hills for almost five years. She has Alzheimer’s and is in the moderate phase. Due to the exceptional care and community at this lovely place, her progression seems to be slower than our family expected. She’s been able to remain in her very nice apartment in assisted living. It’s a bright and positive place to visit and the staff is responsive and professional. She is always happy and looks pretty when we come to pick her up for outings. Her apartment is immaculate. One evening we were late getting home and our phones were dead so we couldn’t call. Two staff members and one of her friends were waiting at the door. It made me feel so good to know that they knew her whereabouts and were concerned. Our family sleeps well knowing she is safe and well cared for and that she’s made close friends. We highly recommend Highland Hills Westminster!!

I am sharing how amazing Hyland Hills Senior Living is. I work in the Senior Care industry and have seen many senior care communities. Hyland Hills is at the top. Their plan to care for seniors in place is a mission with great integrity and foresight. Seniors can move in, and not have to move because of a decline in health. The integration of individuals throughout their building is such a great concept. I would have my parents trust in their care and know they would be happy. The building is beautiful and comfortable.

My husband has been in the memory care unit for about 6 weeks now. He is very high functioning relative to other residents but has had episodes of elopement, thus the need for secure housing. The staff are doing a great job of developing activities and opportunities to meet his need, which are not standard but this has benefitted other similar residents. They have worked quite well with his team at Innovage, too. There are some bumps, like getting better wifi to be able to use a cell phone in the facility, some communication lapses, etc., but overall I am very impressed and comfortable with my husband's care. Would recommend!

Hyland Hills is MUCH better than I ever imagined a facility like this could be. I was terrified about putting Mom into this type of setting, but they are taking care of her exceptionally fantastically GREAT. I hope that my kids move me into Hyland Hills if the need ever arrises. Oh yeah, the facility is well taken care of, the rooms are quite large, the staff is always accommodating, they treat the residents with respect and know each of their needs, the food looks and tastes great, and the facility has a clean smell to it (no urine/feces, cleaner smell, etc). I HIGHLY recommend you moving your loved ones into Hyland Hills when/if the need arrises.

My dad has been living at Hyland Hills since late August 2024. The staff is very responsive and kind. The apartments are really nice and outfitted with benches in the showers which is a nice feature. What we really loved about Hyland is the mixing of assisted and independent. Each apartment is both. So if you suddenly need some extra care, you can add on exactly what you need and then remove it if you no longer need the extra care. No need to physically move to another building. Plus! In my dad’s case, he needs some help but not much and doesn’t want to be in a building with only people who need lots of help. This creates a nice mixture of ages and abilities in the facility. I’ve been so grateful for the consistent care my dad has received. I know if we need something Marie will respond quickly. We are really happy with Hyland.

I wanted to say not only is this a beautiful community with great areas to enjoy the outdoors but the staff is wonderful. I was greeted with such warmth from the staff. We brought our two family members here into Memory Care (we were previously at a different facility for 3 years that really went downhill). It's been 6 months and so far we are very happy with the quality of care at Hyland. We are MOST happy about the level of activities and engagement on the Memory floor. The staff really encourage the residents to spend time out of their rooms. Once a week they take the residents on an outing, which my family members LOVE and look forward to every week! It's no small task to take these folks on a field trip, and we massively appreciate it. The workers are attentive and our family members are always clean/dressed/fed when we visit. Marie is caring and responsive. While no facility is perfect, we are very glad to have our family at Hyland and our family is well cared for.

10-1-24 Things are going well at Hylands Hills. They seem to have some problems keeping staff but new people are ok so far. Update 4 Weeks later My Sister was readmitted to her apartment. She had to stay in a care facility for 28 days! Hyland Hills required a Dr. visit with clear x-ray and MRI. So, from December 23, date of injury, to January 26th she paid rent and also for the Care Center. Hylands did allow an outside OT and PT to help her in her apartment. January 2024 We are having some issues with Hyland Hills now after my sister fell and has small fractures in her pelvis. They are not as helpful as they were upon move in. I and the Case Manager at the Care Facility are trying to work with them to get her back into her apartment that she is still paying for. She is completely self sufficient and mobile with walker and wheelchair like many others in the community. I will update this as it progresses. Maybe this will generate some positive response. She really likes living there. June 2023 Beginning with Matt, the entire staff has been helpful and kind. My sister moved in June 2023. She is adjusting well with the help of everyone at Hyland Hills. I highly recommend this Community.

Not sure where to start I am very impressed with what I saw and experienced at this place which is now my dear aunt’s home. What stood out the most and made the biggest impression- Whenever we encountered or interacted with a staff member, I saw how each of them greeted my aunt by name with a genuine, caring, and often nurturing nature. I saw how much that meant to her, and it meant the world to me. My aunt is the kindest person I know. She deserves kindness in return, and that is what she is getting here. What stood out to me right away was how clean, bright and welcoming this place is. Loved the cheerful and modern decor, the landscaping/patios/flowers. Then there is the 5th floor deck Wow! In addition to all of that, I had a meal in the dining room the first night I arrived in town (for my three day visit.). The food was very good, the people working there were friendly, patient, and attentive, and the atmosphere was delightful. I am happy that my aunt is here for her new home. She made so many comments throughout my visit about how nice people/staff are to her. That warms my heart and gives me peace of mind. I appreciate everyone who is making this place as nice as it is for my aunt and for other residents who are experiencing a new and often difficult chapter of their lives. Thank you so very much and keep up the good work.

I moved my mom in here a couple of months ago and she loves it! She says it's like living in a luxury hotel, but better There are so many amenities; activities, happy hour, in-house healthcare etc. but the wonderful and kind staff is what really makes the place incredible. She was in a bad situation before and it's such a weight off my soul to know she's safe and well cared for. And it's not just the 24 hour medical professionals and safety features of the apartments, she's made a lot of friends. She's never lonely or bored and is even trying new activities I didn't think she'd ever be interested in! Talk to Matt and set up a tour, I'm certain you'll be impressed!

I was at Atria Westminster for a few weeks on a Respite stay while my family was away. I enjoyed my time here and met some lovely people. The food was very good, and residents and were friendly. Staff was efficient and helpful.

So glad my my mom moved here! An extremely welcoming community with staff and residents. The amenities are incredible with many activities to interest anyone. The staff is professional and truly caring. The food is wonderful in the dining room as well as the bistro. My mom has expressed, multiple times, that she feels comfortable and at home at Atria Westmimster. What a blessing to all her family to know she is somewhere she can be happy and confident.
