My Dad has been thriving since he came to Juniper. Everyone there is absolutely amazing! They are all kind, compassionate and well trained. I can’t say enough good things about Juniper. I would highly recommend them.

As my mother's daughter, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Juniper Village Memory Care. Making the decision to move a loved one into memory care is never easy, but from the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel like family. The staff is incredibly caring, compassionate, and attentive. It is obvious that they genuinely love what they do and truly care about each resident. My mother is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect every single day, and it gives our family tremendous peace of mind knowing she is so well cared for. The administration team is also exceptional. They are always responsive, approachable, and willing to answer questions or address concerns. Communication with families is excellent, and we always feel informed and supported. Knowing that my mom is safe, happy, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about her means everything to us. We are so grateful to have found Juniper Village and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a memory care community for a loved one. We truly have only great things to say about this special place.

Juniper Village is the best memory care facility in Colorado, and honestly, probably the best care facility in the whole US! Hands down, they are leagues above the rest. Our father was in another memory care facility for two weeks and then a hospital for a month over the holidays. It was all awful, an absolute nightmare for our whole family. We were beyond exhausted, stretched thin, and fearful about the future care for him and where he would go next for care. Juniper accepted him without hesitation, and from the very beginning, they have been absolutely amazing. Their executive director, management staff, nurses, PT, speech therapists, hair stylist, maintenance, wellness and activity coordinators, kitchen crew, and especially their daily care staff have all been top-notch from day one. Everyone is highly qualified; many have been at Juniper for 10+ years. They know how to work with dementia patients and are trained (and continue to be trained each month) more than any facility in CO! They go above and beyond every single day. From the move in day (and even before my dad arrived) we continue to be blown away by their incredible care. Our dad is doing so well compared to when he arrived. The other facilities took a toll on him and us; he declined in the other places. But now he is so comfortable and content at Juniper and has made huge improvements since he moved in. The daily routines, good food, incredible care staff, physical set-up and environment, activities - it has all been so good for him and peace of mind for us, his family. I can't recommend Juniper Village in Louisville, CO, highly enough. Do not waste time, money, or your own health dealing with any other memory care facility; Juniper Village is the best of the best!

Juniper Village Louisville is a beautiful facility/campus. The care staff provide hands on care with dignity and compassion. Truly a wonderful community with outstanding leadership.

Juniper Village is the best care facility I have ever found for dementia residents. Several of my family members have had dementia, so I have visited many facilities over the years for comparison. It is such an emotional task to place a loved one in a care facility- but there are several things that made my decision to choose Juniper Village for my wife less painful. The primary asset of Juniper Village is its staff. All the people who work at Juniper, from the CEO/administrators to the caregivers, healthcare workers, cooks, and maintenance workers know the individual residents by name and speak to them frequently throughout the day. Many of the staff have been employed at Juniper for several years. It is like one big family, with staff filling in or looking out for others as needed. This kind of consistent involvement is reassuring to those with dementia, as well as their families. The physical layout of the facility is great for residents. The four individual houses have two caregiving staff at all times for their 13 residents. This is a very efficient for getting residents up in the mornings and to bed in the evenings, and managing meals and medications. The administrative offices and activities room are in the center of the facility with a house on each corner. A large internal hallway goes around the building, connecting all the houses. This makes a great walkway where residents don’t get lost and can walk at any time. There is also a large contained outdoor courtyard that is wonderful for providing fresh air and sunshine. The facility feels spacious. It is not always apparent what kind of behaviors will develop as our loved ones decline from dementia. There is nothing worse than being told by a facility that you have to remove your loved one for behavior problems that you never anticipated! This has happened to many of us. The solution to that is having a well trained and qualified staff to manage the inevitable behavior-related cognitive changes. Juniper Village has a nurse on site at all times and a set of doctors/providers that make weekly rounds. This is in invaluable. When a problem behavior or health condition arises, the staff are very proactive in addressing it. This might just involve redirection, but it may also indicate need for medication changes- and the Juniper staff are on top of that. The oversight is just so much more immediate and appropriate than I have seen in any other care facility. Residents who can participate are guided in exercise, craft, and music activities. Those who can’t participate are well cared for in their house or watched over in the common areas. Residents are allowed to be themselves as much as possible and their individual personalities and needs are accommodated. I really appreciate the thought put into this entire care community. My wife, who has Alzheimer's, has been in Juniper Village for a year now. Although it is very sad to see her decline, I take heart knowing she is getting kind, compassionate and appropriate care in a very safe environment. And Juniper facilitates a family support group on-site that I have found very valuable. The entire experience at Juniper confirms we are not alone in this journey.

Juniper Village is truly an outstanding memory care community. Their neighborhood layout creates a warm, familiar, and easy‘to‘navigate environment for residents, which makes such a meaningful difference for those living with dementia. Each area feels welcoming, thoughtfully designed, and centered around comfort and dignity. The staff are exceptional”compassionate, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about dementia care. They take the time to understand each resident’s unique needs and provide support with genuine kindness. It’s clear that this team is dedicated not just to safety, but to helping residents feel valued, engaged, and at home. If you’re looking for a memory care community where your loved one will be treated with respect, empathy, and professional expertise, Juniper Village stands out in every way.

Juniper Village is a 5 star memory care facility, I recommend this community to anyone looking for Mom, Dad Sister, Brother. Their experience and longevity is what sets them apart from other communities.

I stopped into Juniper Village earlier this week for a professional networking event, and Alison was kind enough to take the time to show us around the community. She was helpful, friendly, and easy to talk to. Thanks for the tour, Alison! -Ambrosha from Homewatch CareGivers

The team at Juniper Village has shown such compassion and care to my husband and I as I was making the unexpected and very difficult decision to move my husband to memory care. The team at Juniper Village is collaborative and the medical team has done a great job identifying and dealing with my husband’s needs to help with his adjustment. There are a number of things that make Juniper Village stand out including the longevity of their staff, the staffs intentionality in knowing the needs of each resident, the facility which is clean and peaceful and allows for independence. The entire team has been welcoming and incredibly kind to my husband and our entire family making it feel like a home. My husband has especially enjoyed and taken advantage of all the spaces to walk and has enjoyed the thoughtful activities provided by the staff. Making the decision to move my husband to memory care had been one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make and the care and compassion shown by the team at Juniper Village has made the decision much easier.

A+ experience working with the entire staff at Juniper Village. Allison with intake was exceptionally responsive when I had to move my father urgently up from Dallas with progressive dementia. The medical staff was equally responsive to some of his immediate needs and really got his challenging behavior under control rapidly. My father really enjoyed the outdoor living space and was always treated kindly by his entire staff and his home away from home. Their house model is exceptional and lives more like a small home rather than a big institution. Five star experience all around.

First of all, I’ll say that looking for the best memory care facility is not a position that you really want to be in. But you have to do it. All ranges of emotions are taking place regarding your loved one and their care, but I found that finding the right memory care for my wife lifted at least some of those emotional burdens. My wife was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia 12 yrs ago at age 56. I retired 6 yrs ago to provide her with full-time care at home. A year ago, as symptoms progressed, I added home care to give me four mornings a week free to take care of myself, but I knew I would need to find a place for her when she needed full-time care. So I embarked on a journey, first online, and then in person tours to find the best spot for her. And that turned out to be Juniper Village at Louisville, by far! I had seen facilities that did some memory care, but mostly they focused on assisted care or skilled care. Or if they only did memory care, you would see the typical nursing home look - a central open space with everyone just sitting there, or lying in bed in their rooms. When I visited Juniper for the first time it blew me away. The first impression is a clean, professional, home-like atmosphere without the huge dining room and endless hallways that you usually see. The Small House concept is just that “ 14 residents in each of four homes, on the four corners of the facility “ each with its own kitchen, small dining area and TV room; and all private rooms. Everyone is out doing things, not sitting in their room. Activities are nicely scheduled with every resident encouraged to participate. The central hallway is great for walking or they can go out to the large outdoor patio and garden area in the back. The place has energy and activity with the staff showing that they really love what they do. If you need something, nursing staff and aides are easily accessible and are friendly, caring and professional. My wife has been a resident now for two months and she’s doing well. But also I feel that I’ve fit in as well and it’s become a highlight of my day to go over for a visit.

Wonderful place, wonderful and dedicated, caring staff. They handle anything that comes up. The grounds are expansive, lovely. The interior is comfortable with lots of light and variety. Cleaning crews do great jobs. One aspect that impressed me at first was when I asked about visiting hours, they said I could come any time, day or night with no pre-planning needed. They were the blessing that we needed at the time, right till the end.
March 2025
After being at Juniper Village for a month, my mother thanked me for moving her there. She has been very happy at Juniper Village. Somebody takes her to the various activities. I also love that all of the employees know her by name and always say hello to her (& to me as well). The building itself with the 4 houses feels homey and not institutional.
March 2025
My 94-year-old mother passed away recently, but I am very glad I had made the decision to move mom from another facility in Golden to Juniper Village. The staff there was very attentive to her and did a great job of communicating with me anytime they had concerns about her. Having her in a facility with a nurse practitioner in the building was a huge benefit. The building is well maintained. It clear that they truly care about their residents. I highly recommend them to anyone with a family member that needs memory care.

Juniper Village is a wonderful memory care community that strives every day to provide great care to its residents. Their objectives are achieved through innovative programs targeted to improving the mental health of each resident; with a focus on keeping them engaged in activities, other residents and their families as much as possible.
July 2021
The year previous to Covid Maisie and I, as a volunteer therapy dog team, visited Juniper Village weekly interacting with residents and staff and observing the organization's culture and processes. My conclusions based on experiences (former university professor focusing on leadership and organizational behavior) are this is a well managed and positive functioning organization. The staff is obviously focused on the residents and the residents' behaviors show they are well cared for.
July 2021
I have been visiting Juniper weekly for over four years now to share music with the residents. (except during the recent lockdown.). I have always been impressed by the compassion and expert card shown by the staff. Each resident is treated respectfully as an individual. The residence is organized as four houses with common indoor and outdoor secure areas. I hope the residents enjoy my visits as much as I enjoy being there with them.
July 2021
I found staff to be caring and professional . They knew how to caretake for my wife in ways that surprised me and got positive results . Getting someone settled into a sudden change of lifestyle and locked down in memory care is no small task for family and Juniper Village came through. I have to say that I'm happy for what has transpired.
May 2021
Great place for Memory Care. They truly understand Alzheimer’s suffers and what to expect along with how to support their residents. The facility feels like a home. The staff generally wants to be there and they are always doing their best to provide meaning to their residents. Unfortunately that is not the case with other more prominent all-in-one Independent Living/Assisted Living/Memory Care facilities; those facilities quickly look for ways to terminate the contract once your loved one moves into Memory Care. Trust me, we learned the hard way. We wished we had taken 5 minutes to do internet searches on the other facilities as the scam’ and complaints’ are abundant and going on for years. Again, Juniper is truly a Memory Care facility and their residents are given the best care and support possible. Highly recommend...
January 2021
Now that we've moved my father in to Juniper Village, my only regret is that I didn't look closely at their facility one year ago when we engaged in a frantic search to find appropriate care for dad when mom passed away suddenly. I discovered that the cost is noticeably less than we were paying for assisted living at a not-too-distant Boulder facility and certainly less than I had feared memory care would run for my father who really requires a LOT of help. Lots of things to be enthusiastic about: Every time I call Juniper the people on the phone are pleasant, cheerful, and helpful. They have sufficient staff to support multiple calls/video meetings per week with the residents. The food I sampled was delicious. The facility smells clean and well-kept. And most importantly, they treat my father well and he feels comfortable there in a way he never did at the facility we moved him from. He has yet to ask me when he gets to go home, which had become a fairly common refrain near the end of his stay at the prior facility. For anyone who has had close contact with other memory care facilities or assisted living facilities you will already be aware that not every place smells clean, has helpful and cheerful people answering the phone, and has enough staff to support more than one call per week during the pandemic. Even though it's early in my father's journey at Juniper I cannot say enough nice things about them. The weight on my shoulders lifted as soon as I moved dad in and my continued experiences (with exceptional communication from the facility nurses regarding medication changes rolled out by his doctor- the type of insight I never had from the previous facility) all leave me believing that although this was a tricky move in the middle of a pandemic it was definitely the right one to make. And even though it was a difficult move to make, Anna in the Juniper village office helped with every level of necessary coordination, providing every bit of silly information I asked for (room dimensions & layout, no problem!), and pointing out the information they needed but had not yet received from my father's old place so I could shake the information out of the old facility, which definitely made the move as easy as it could be considering the harrowing pandemic constraints. And all of Anna's answers about life inside Juniper were accurate and spot-on, unlike marketing/sales/business folks at other memory care facilities who gave me answers that I know were in conflict with Colorado Dept of Public Health orders and that I suspect didn't reflect pandemic realities for how the residents are experiencing those facilities at this point in time. In short-- put Juniper on your short list. Visit a few other places and I think Juniper will stand out for their quality of care, small-house approach, affordable memory care pricing, and sensible (but not overboard) Pandemic precautions. Good people, good place.
January 2021
My mother has only been in this facility for about 3 weeks. But my family and I finally have some peace of mind that my mother is getting good and compassionate care. The Staff that I have dealt with at Juniper are all wonderful. Going above and beyond seems to be the normal for them, not the exception. I have had more feed back about my mom and her care during this time than the entire 6 mos. in her previous facility. Because of covid I have only been in the facility once (the day we moved mom here) but from what I saw it is very clean and designed appropriately for the people they care for. I did not see a bunch of fancy chandeliers and furniture and stuff for show. But a nice place for people to live and be comfortable and happy. I highly recommend Juniper.
September 2020
Juniper Village is a great alternative to other memory care facilities due to the caring staff. My mom has been cared for at Juniper Village for about 2 years. She was in another memory care facility for about a year when she was moved to Juniper Village. The other care facility was like being in a Hilton, but don’t be fooled with the surroundings without getting to know the people (staff) who provide the care for your loved ones. Juniper Village has a great staff who understand how to care for your loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer’s. I especially give my praise to one staff member, Mary, who is excellent with my mom, caring for her needs. I realize there are other staff members who also provide great care to my mom, but have seen how attentive Mary has been to moms every need. My mom is always dressed nicely, her hair is clean and combed, her nails are cut & polished, and most importantly my mom seems content when we’ve visited her. As long as there are people like this providing care to your loved ones, it doesn’t matter if the place looks like a Hilton. Juniper Village is a clean, well organized memory care facility that is laid out out to suit the residents needs, and not to dazzle the family members with glitz and glamor. The facility also uses sensible memory enhancement activities to provide well rounded care for your loved ones.
August 2020
My father has had Alzheimer's for ten years and until recently lived at home with my mom. In the spring it became apparent that she was no longer able to keep him at home. Our family was sad and nervous about having him move into a residential facility. In June, he moved into Juniper Village which has turned out to be a wonderful experience for all of us. Last winter, my dad stayed at Juniper for a week of respite care and we knew then that when the time came, we would move him there. It is such a loving, comfortable and fun place! We know he is in great hands with the caring and communicative staff. I so appreciate how well they have gotten to know my dad and all of the support we received from Anna in admissions.

Ive waited a few months to put in my two cents worth about Juniper, so here goes! With aging parents things get rough fast and no week is a like. Finding resources both financial and physical is a rocky road (no I dont mean ice cream) that takes you places you couldnt imagine you would go. Karen at this facility is engaged with her staff, balancing training the new salesman and consulting families all in one. Ive observed the same caring regard amoung the staff, even the young flighty ones, engaged and care about my mom. My mom came to Juniper from a neighboring community that was understaffed, under trained and seemed to have surrendered. There is a warmth and resolve at Juniper to nurse patients back to health, give them best quality of life while having some fun. Food is simple but consistent, laundry is always done, the place overall is clean. Nursing is easy to find during the day and the phone is answered regularlly! I give five stars out of five stars and my simple expectations are being met. Most importantly my mom seems content with other ladies her age.

We were very fortunate to find a place like Jniper Village. The staff and management are helpful kind and compassionate. Both our parents were here and my mom is still here. She is happy and very content in her home. She is always clean and actually looks and feels better now. It's not easy to find a place like Jniper Village. We can leave knowing they are cared for in everyway. Thanks also to the chefs and kitchen staff for providing good healthy meals. The activity people do a tremendous job with something everyday. We look forward to celebrating holidays there. They do their best. We will always be grateful and will have fond memories. Thank you.
