I have had the opportunity as a visiting nurse to share care of residents with the team at Flatirons. The nurses are amazing - Amy, Stormy and Lauren have such great knowledge of their residents and always take the time to communicate with me even when they are busy. Their team of caregivers, especially Anthony and Hazel, are so attentive with the residents and always willing to help me. I have really appreciated the opportunity to work with them all. I feel a shout out is necessary for this team! Being a nurse working in hospice, whenever we enter into Sunrise at Flatirons, we are greeted with a friendly smile by everyone there, starting with the front desk staff, all the way up to administration. The staff in the wellness department are so kind and caring with their patients, and they always work with us as one big team. Amy and Luisa are always there to collaborate and partner with us on the very best options for our mutual patients.

Over the years I've had multiple opportunities to experience the amazing staff, service and beauty at Sunrise at Flatirons. In my opinion there is not a better Senior Care community in Broomfield. The independent living is stunning and quite affordable when compared with similar Independent Living residences in the area. You couldn't ask for a better menu in the restaurant and the wait staff makes it feel like an upscale restaurant. The Assisted Living/Memory Care is beautiful and the team of care staff is very attentive. They designate care to sections of apartments so that the residents and family really gets to know the care staff that cares for them personally. I know many of the residents and families, and they regularly comment on the quality of services and the relationships they've built with the care staff. One of the things that really impressed me about their stories are the times when mistakes are made and how quickly and thoroughly they are resolved. The commitment to service at this community is renowned. No senior care community is perfect but this is as close as you can come in the Broomfield area. Keep up the good work Sunrise, we are all very grateful for the respect and attention you show to our elders. It should be noted that the leadership of Sue Crawford and how she runs this community and her team is the true reason Sunrise at Flatirons shines. She's the best Executive Director in the business. Sunrise is fortunate to have her.

My mother has lived at Sunrise at Flatirons assisted living for just over 2 years. The staff cares for the residents and exceeds my expectations. I get regular updated which is very important since I live in a different region of the country. When I visit, they make me feel welcome and I know they take such great care of my mom and keep her engaged. Plus, the food is really good!

What a stunning community and caring team! This was one of the best experiences touring places in the Broomfield area. The new places have nice fixtures and finishings but there isn't history or tenured employees. Sunrise is the one!

My mother has lived at the Sunrise at Flatirons for over 10 years. She was on the independent living side up until your ago and wanted to remain there because of the staff treat her so well and she knows everyone on a first name basis. The staff are very friendly and helpful to her and they are also helpful every single time we come to visit her.

My dear friend (my step daughter's mother-in-law) moved to independent living at Sunrise at Flatirons the official day of the Covid lockdowns on March 26, 2020. Although the Sunrise team faced many challenges due to the lockdowns, which is an understatement, they continued to provide the best service possible given the many obstacles placed before them. My friend loved living at Sunrise for 3-1/2 years before passing away at the age of 101+ in early October. Before her mobility became challenging, she enjoyed socializing with other residents sharing a meal in the dining room, playing Mah Jong in the game room, and taking in one of the movies in the on-site theater. Even as her condition deteriorated the last several months of her life, she acknowledged and appreciated the hard work of those with whom she interacted including the sales team, the front desk, accounting, maintenance, the kitchen staff, the transportation providers and housekeeping. Her family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for always being so gracious to her and to all of us.

If we had our way, we would move my mother in law in right away, but she is being very resistant & does not want to move. The facility is in a great location & is very beautiful!

I have lived in Sunrise at Flatirons for over five years and have generally been satisfied with the services provided for the fees charged. However, the recent inappropriate, unfair and sudden money grab by corporate is unsettling. With direct input from residents and staff the swiftly added fees were modified to reflect a lesser and more importantly, a fairer fee to cover inflationary costs. While I appreciate the action by corporate to respond my confidence in top administration to treat its residents fairly and equally is shaken.

My mom had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Flatirons assisted living In Broomfield! The staff is amazing and very caring. My mom loved the food with many delicious options for each meal .. she also loved all the activities provided at Sunrise in assisted living .. her favorites included walking club and exercise class and she loved all the arts and crafts activities and baking club along with bingo and other games. Though my mom has recently passed away her time at Sunrise was wonderful because of all the wonderful people that work there and their love for the residence ! Sunrise was like family to me and everyone was friendly when I went to visit my mom.. my mom’s last years of her life was made better having her at Sunrise where she felt loved and cared for ….

Over the past 14 years, my father moved to Assisted Living, and my mother eventually to Memory Care. The staff has always been friendly, caring, and welcoming to our family. Sunrise Flatirons has been home to our parents for nearly a decade. Over that time they've live in Independent, Assisted and Memory Care. We had family reunions there, countless meals, holidays, sickness, health and ultimately passing for both of them. It truly was home for them and a part of our families' lives. Our experiences have always been positive. Regardless of how the staff changed over the years, we always felt that they were excellent, went above and beyond (not just for our parents, but also for us as family members), and showed true caring and compassion. I can't begin to count the number of times the accommodated our schedules, needs and wishes. By example, when the Louisville CO fires raged, they got mom to safely and did everything humanly possible to help her. I was so impressed and grateful. Sunrise is not our only experience with Senior Living, but it is hands down the best we've experienced. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Location is very good and lots of shopping nearby. Good transportation to medical appointments by staff. All IL apts. have balconies, a nice feature. Underground parking garage is a plus if you have a car. The facility needs a major refurbishing and good cleaning. There is nothing good to say about the food and dining service. The staff is courteous and kind. Good location.

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to the staff and especially Tommy for being so good to her. I attended the 10th Anniversary party yesterday and so enjoyed seeing the care that the staff has for the residents and each other. Thanks to Georgia and Wendy for their warm welcome and taking time to show me the 2 bedroom apartment. The food is tasty, varied and served in a lovely airy dining room. The decor at Flatirons is lovely but is not out done by the care that is provided for fun and stimulating activities both in-house and in the community. The location is lovely and not too large. Although I am not ready for the move yet, I can see myself having a nurturing and caring community with great staff and interesting new friends at Sunrise at Flatirons. Great food, fun and fellowship. I also like that I do not have to pay a huge buy-in, just monthly payments. Underground parking here too. There is a attached assisted living right next door. So, I know that if I needed to have additional help or one of my new friends from independent living had need of additional assistance, I could easily visit. Check this place out! My mom spent over 4 years living at this wonderful senior living facility. She always felt safe and had many activities to choose from including trips to the mountains, Rockies games, the movies and many local restaurants. The staff is friendly and the facility is managed well. I hope to have such a great place to live in my senior years.
