As a healthcare provider and care observer I am consistently impressed by staff and the level of care given to residents in Applewood Memory Care facilities. It is clear staff takes joy in their work -- many are giving back to a generation that once cared well for them and find their work a calling, not a job. The environment is positive -- I see birthdays being celebrated, musicians who stop by to perform familiar songs, residents engaged in community activities. The size of Applewood care homes is ideal for residents to receive high-quality, individualized care to promote quality of life amid challenges specific to end-stage dementia. So glad you do what you do, Applewood!

My mother is safe, healthy, and being taken care of so well! The staff at Applewood are incredible. The administration made it so easy for me to get my mom accepted and explained the finances in a way I could understand. I was at the end of my rope as a caregiver and Applewood saved my friggin life!

This is the place, when that heart wrenching decision needs to be made for your loved one. Memory care is understood, your loved one will be well cared for allowing you the caretaker to have peace of mind. Unfortunately, this disease has come way too early to my mothers precious life and the road has been difficult, save your time and heartache. Applewood is well known in the community to be the BEST and IS the best facility. The ability to choose from different options to fit my mothers needs and finances has removed a lot of stress for our family. This facility provides amazing activities with their long time activities coodinator-Nora she strives at creating great memories The care is tailored to each individuals needs.

It has taken me way too long to write this review. My Dad lived at Applewood Our House for about 7 months. It was a tough decision but the right decision. EVERYONE there is AMAZING. I really can't thank them enough for the love, compassion, and over the top care they show all the residents. Their jobs are not easy and they do what they do because it is in their heart to give everyone attention, respect, and shown love every day. They do it well! Now that my Dad has passed, I truly miss the staff and the other residents. They all became part of my family. I cannot say enough how much they made a difference in my Dad's life. Thank you so much.

Applewood Upham has been a wonderful home for my mom. Her very first day was very difficult and the Upham team and Sherri were there to help my mom and even support us. There is always excellent communication from the staff as to my mom's needs and care. I am so incredibly thankful to have found this home where my mom is always so well cared for. She is treated like the special person that she is and it means the world to me. For her birthday recently they threw her a great party with all of the fixings!
