Nathaniel, the Executive Director, is super friendly and always on top of things. Dylan, the Activities Director, brings so much energy and keeps everyone involved and having fun. The staff are nice, the place is clean, and there’s always something going on. It’s a really positive environment and you can tell the residents are happy here. I would recommend this place.

Savant is great ! Yesenia has help us transition residents from our Rehab to ALF. She is so great to work with and makes sure the residents are safely discharge. She makes sure the residents feel right at home.

I’m not typically one to leave reviews, but Savant in Santa Monica makes you want to share your experience with the world. I’ve always been so selective with who I decide to work with, especially as a fellow healthcare worker. I have nothing but great experiences from the initial admission process to the tour, and attention they’ve shown my residents. All residents that have transferred to this location have loved the attentive and informative staff. Yesenia in particular, is hands down the sweetest and most hands on person I’ve ever worked with. She will ensure not only is your loved one safe and supported but know they are always welcome to come to her for support and guidance. Apart from the prime location and beautiful/clean rooms, you’ll be pleasantly surprised the people match the environment.

Just to be clear this review is for a gentlemen that works there named Frank. While the facility and staff in general seems unorganized and deshoveled perhaps do to consistently staff overturn but in general in needs fine running. Perhaps they are going through growing pains as I do see slight improvement on the facility . That said, Frank, seems to wear many hats and runs around nonstop all with a smile on his face. Though he seems overwhelmed with all the work thrown at him, yet he still manages to handle it while never ignoring the patience and always stoping to say hello to them and personally assist to their needs and concerns. I think if more workers there were more like Frank, it would turn the place into a much more acceptable facility to feel that it is a safe and happy place for our loved one's. He seems to have all the qualifications to handle a management position and turn the place around. DiTa

Savant of Santa Monica. When we walked into the door I was overwhelmed by how bright clean and lively the location was we toured on a Wednesday and there was live entertainment in a designated area, on the tour we met different individuals. We met a young man by the name of Frank who was head of maintenance I believe, while meeting this young man, he emphasize that no matter how small the task is, if we need anything, let him know. By all means he is a man of his word. Frank has gone out of his way to assisting in finding A convenient Room for my mother-in-law to assembling A shower chair, reclining chairs, putting together lamps and everything that was needed for my mother-in-law to have a comfortable stay at Savant. Thank you, Frank our family truly appreciate you! Savant is truly a lifesaver no pun intended! Yesterday while celebrating my mother-in-laws birthday, unfortunately she had a setback however, Myesha and the nursing staff along with a number of caregivers immediately jumped into action doing what was necessary to prevent this setback being much much worse. Savant, thank you for having staff members, like Myesha, and the rest of the caregivers that were there when this incident occurred. Our family truly appreciate you!!

My husband has been residing at Savant of Santa Monica. I cannot say enough about the staff who are the heart of this place. They are caring, attentive, and support residents well-being. The maintenance team works consistently to create a welcoming environment. They have been very attentive to assisting my husband as well when he needed a bed table assembled and when there is a maintenance issue. The housekeeping staff is also very attentive and focused on the cleanliness of the environment. The nursing staff and medication assistants have also been invaluable in helping me understand how to best support my husband’s needs. Whenever I reach out, they provide thoughtful, helpful guidance. The kitchen provides tasty meals and alternative choices for those who prefer something different from the scheduled menu. The doctors' group associated with the facility has been supportive as well, working with us to meet my husband’s unique needs. Overall, I am deeply appreciative of the kindness, dedication, and conscientious care provided by everyone at Savant of Santa Monica. Martha

Don't trust the photos very poorly managed especially after talking to a few residents. Don't let the photos fool you. They a liars and fraudsters they're stealing money from residents.

I would highly recommend Savant for your beloved ones. They have added some excellent staff, including Ruby Cruz to the team. She brings grace and compassion to the team and I would recommend Savant to everyone! She is a great addition. It was clean, beautiful location, friendly and updated.

Had a family member placed here recently. It was such a seamless process for enrollment. Staff was so welcoming , friendly. All the residents seem to like the food. Location is amazing! They even have nurses and doctors that come visit the patients to provide care. Overall this place is great !! Thank you to all the staff !

I've been a resident of Holiday Villa East for over 4 1/2 years and I can tell you that this rent-controlled senior residential hotel is Santa Monica's best-kept secret. It is close to bus lines, the metro train and is serviced by taxis, Uber, Lyft, Mode and Access. Both UCLA Santa Monica and St. John's hospitals are nearby, as well as numerous offices of the best physicians. It is also the best value in senior housing on the westside. Best of all it is nestled in beautiful Santa Monica with its mild weather and gentle ocean breezes. Prospective residents are offered beautifully-furnished rooms or they may bring their own furnishings. Two outside patio areas are provided for residents to enjoy. Residents are given daily maid services, entertainment, classes and twice weekly shopping trips. Classes include weekly yoga, bi-weekly low-impact aerobic and tai chi taught by professionly-trained instructors. There are also two art classes per week taught by one of our residents. Residents are also provided with three delicious and nutritious meals a day created by professionally-trained trained chefs. For residents requiring assistance, dedicated caregivers are available to employ. Talented, hard-working, and friendly staff managed by our path-breaking Executive Director Rhonda Madrid make living here at Holiday Villa East a very pleasurable experience. Holiday Villa is great place..my grandmother lived there for many years .and she made so many new friends and family along the way.The staff was very helpful and location is beautiful. This is a very nice place to retire and to stay active at the same time !

Sam Rosenberg, the director of Holiday Villa East, has created a wonderful, warm & inviting environment for seniors desiring an attractive, affordable & stimulating living situation. I recommended Holiday Villa East to a friend who was looking for a place for her mother, when she moved here from the east coast. They researched & looked at many places, but only "Sam's Place" would do for Miss Lillian, who has happily resided there for several years.

Holiday Villa East is a fine place to live or work where all are treated with respect and given an opportunity to be the best they can be. I have given art classes there for over five years and notice both residents and staff consistently seem happy, and help each other, as needed. It is a real community -with great programs for social and learning events- and support (for those residents who need it) that's never intrusive.There is also much less turn-over at Holiday Villa East than many similar places. Sam the owner is a gem of a human being, very concerned with his residents' weIl-being, and present to deal with all issues. I recommend it as a good place to be.

When my son and I were checking out assisted living accommodations for my 89-year old father, we were very impressed with Holiday Villa East: its friendly atmosphere, its cleanliness, the rooms, the common areas,the grounds, its programs and its staff. My father just now passed away and I am so glad that we chose Holiday Villa East for his last home. And he did call it home! I was worried about "his feeling at home" because I had had to move him from the home he had lived in for 35 years. But the caring staff and the friendly residents offered him the best quality of life he could not have experienced if I had let him remain in his home, alone, or relying on outside help to clean his house and check up on him. There aren't enough words of thanks for the fantastic staff at Holiday Villa East, but know that I am so grateful and thank each and every one of the staff. Thank You! Mil Gracias!

My wife's elderly mother EMMA CHANG lived here for two years. The location is great, in a wonderful neighborhood. The building is clean and the staff is just incredible. Sam Rosenberg the Executive Director is also a owner so his dedication and genuine desire is always the best for its residents. He runs a great facility.
