While visiting our resident and found one of the caregivers, Jone, taking good care of him after our resident had had an incident. Jone was great.

A lot of thought went into the building design as it has wide hallways for residents to stroll the perimeter with multiple doors allowing residents to go into the courtyard to enjoy the weather on a nice day. Most important asset is their dedicated staff, especially Luis and his kitchen staff as all meals are delicious.

Hard working staff and administration -kudos to them as it's not and never will be an easy job. Attention and oversight of the residents very good. Compassionate care. Meals are well prepared and thought out with lots of variety and tailored to suit. The activities personnel (Melinda and Lisa) excel at the task.

We went to a family Carnival event at Muir Woods. The residents and staff were happy and having a great time. The event was well put together. The Activities Director Melinda did a nice job. I am happy that my mom is there!

Such a wonderful facility, always ready to provide education and resources to family members and their loved ones who need their services. I love how open their layout is so those affected with memory loss can freely roam the facility and the courtyard.

My mom has been at Muirwoods since January of 2024, we can not say how helpful they have been with the care, and attention she has needed to be doing and feeling her best. They provide great attention to details and great communication about my moms care which we are very thankful.

Moving my father into Muir Woods Memory Care six months ago was absolutely the right decision. His condition reached a point at which he needed 24 hour supervision and the whole family struggled with how, when, and where to provide that. Given that he is very active and continuously walking, we chose MWMC primarily for the clever layout and accessibility of outdoor space. I have been very happy with the results. Every time I visit him he is in good spirits and appears content. He makes very good use of the walkable layout. The staff shows an obvious interest in him and his well being. It is difficult to see positive things in the face of this complicated condition, but I feel very good about the move to Muir Woods Memory Care.

MuirWoods seems like the right choice so far for my husband Michael. I feel that the staff is caring and understanding of his needs. He has only been there a short time but it is a safe environment where he is comfortable. We are slowly getting familiar with various staff members and they all seem professional but also warm and kind with regards to individual needs. MuirWoods has been an a safe haven for my brother. He hates having to be there but everyone makes him feel comfortable. He's getting the care he needs and we are so thankful for the caring staff. We came to Muirwoods during the pandemic. The staff and management team at Muirwoods went above and beyond to help our family navigate the complicated transfer from another residential program that was not the best fit for our loved one. Over the past 18 months, our family has travelled from bear and far. We have come to enjoy the freedoms to visit as best fits the needs of both our lives and our mother’s sense of well-being, at any stages of her abilities. I have found Muir Woods to be the perfect setting for my spouse. Lisa is sales was hopeful in navigating the process to get my spouse admitted. Since then, the entire staff has been responsive to my questions and offered some valuable advice in caring for my wife. The staff calls you be name and very friendly. I feel my wife is in a safe, supportive and comfortable environment.

I would like to thank Muir Woods and the wonderful staff for the care they gave my uncle for the last few months of his life. My Uncle Eddie moved into the facility on 3/1/22 and remained there until he passed away on 5/11/22. Lisa and Tracy got things started for me and were so helpful and compassionate every step of the way. I live in upstate NY and traveled back and forth to see my Uncle over the last few months. Upon arriving to see my Uncle I was always greeted so kindly by Tina or Melanie at the front desk. Lupe took the care of my uncles every day health needs and answered all my questions with compassion. Tolu kept me up to date on billing and care. I will always be forever grateful to the staff of Muir Woods for the exceptional care they gave my Uncle Eddie in his time at Muir Woods. They treated me like a long time friend and I will miss the conversations we had during my visits. I would highly recommend any family looking for outstanding care for their loved ones to see Lisa and the staff of Muir Woods!

Beautiful community! So light and bright with a wonderful out door space in the middle. The hallways are big as are the apartments. The staff are warm and caring. A big thank you to the Executive Director Jamie for being so dedicated and compassionate. You are an excellent role model!

My father recently passed away. He had severe dementia and was a shell of his former self at the time of his demise. Every time my husband and I visited Adobe House we were impressed by the loving care given to my dad and the other residents. It is hard to watch your loved one lose their personality and ability to perform basic survival tasks, but there are caregivers at Adobe House who soften the hardships and treat your loved one with love and diligence. I recommend this facility for those with loved ones suffering from severe dementia. Visit it first to see for yourself. There is plenty of space for walking and the opportunity for residents to spend time outdoors.
