I live here in Ativo and I was so impressed with the staff and the kitchen. I was impressed with Luis the moment I shook his hand! We spent 4 hours together on a tour and I had to move in.i ordered 4 pouched eggs by the chef and was in love! Amazing place!

I highly recommend Ativo Senior Living! You will be welcomed as family and your loved one's needs will be met by adoring, very experienced caregivers. There is an abundance of daily activities for residents to participate in, dining is very good and all staff are very approachable and accommodating. Cost is very reasonable and the facility is very clean.

I recently had the opportunity to tour Ativo Senior Living community, and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The entire property is beautiful and clean. What stood out most to me was the staff. Everyone I met was friendly. Luis took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease throughout the visit. The amenities and activities offered were plentiful, engaging, and encouraged social interactions. It truly feels like a place where my mother could enjoy life.

A huge part of that experience for us was Luis. He made both my mom and me feel like we were home the very first moment we met him. From the moment I walked in, it didn’t feel like an assisted living facility at all”it felt like a warm, welcoming home. The environment is clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed, but what really stood out was the people. I had the pleasure of meeting Luis, the Executive Director, and he is truly one of the kindest and most genuine individuals I’ve ever met. As he gave us a tour, he took the time to personally greet residents, asking how they were doing and connecting with them in such a natural, caring way. That alone spoke volumes about the culture and leadership in this community. The rooms are incredibly nice”comfortable, modern, and clearly designed with residents’ needs in mind. The kitchen and dining areas were just as impressive, and you can tell there’s a strong emphasis on quality and care in every detail. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We also toured the memory care (dementia) area, and I was especially impressed. Words can not express the level of care and love this place provides for its people staying there as well as their families. I am beyond grateful for the director Luis, who has been exceptional with communication and overall care. The staff are all friendly and go above and beyond with providing care. My Mother has been here over a year and its the nicest possible place she can be in Yuma. The rooms are great! Plenty of space, and the food is fantastic. We are so glad we chose Altivo Senior Living of Yuma.

Couldn’t have found a better place to move to as a senior. The staff is unbelievably caring and helpful. Love that my linens get changed and my unit is cleaned on a weekly basis. Not having to think about what to eat and carrying out the garbage is also a big plus. If you’re looking for a top notch senior facility, look no further. This is THE place.

The receptionist is so warm and cheerful you just want to reach over and give her a big hug. The one word that I would use to describe this place is ,well I cannot just use one word, but Caring is on the top. Loving and friendly are up there as well. I did have one interaction that was a bit rough but the issue was taken care of immediately and professionally. Highly recommend this place.

My mother-in-law just moved in a few weeks ago. We checked it out thoroughly beforehand, and we were very pleased with the facility and staff. Everyone there is helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious and the whole facility is extremely clean and well cared for. There are many daily activities and the food is very good. Overall we couldn't be more pleased.

As a Notary I was able to visit this facility to notarize some documents for a resident. I must say that this facility is exceptional and very beautiful. I had the pleasure of meeting a few other residents who seemed very happy and the staff was attentive and extremely helpful.

My dad suddenly had 2 strokes and was terminal. we need to get him into hospice and assisted living. Ativo was awesome and did everything they can to make the processes fast and easy. My family now has the chance to see him and say there goodbyes. Thank you so much to Katherine ODonald for all she did for us.
