We came to Sunrise after trying the options, going it alone, family assist and caregivers at our home. My wife has Alzheimer's. We have been together for 70 years and did not want to be seperared. We were accepted into the memory care facility. It took some getting used to but with time, help and advice from a professional team we are home. My wife is involved in constant activities, is free to roam a secured area, has new friends, both staff and residents and I have returned to my part time charity endeavors with renewed energy. The building has a touch of elegance. It is spotless, expertly maintained, very family friendly and secure. The kindness of the caregivers to the residents and residents in all stages of dementia to one another is the essence of the place. David Rollins

Sunrise at River Road is a wonderful assisted home. Sunrise is my fourth place I have been in and I have found the place I want to live forever. Everyone is very friendly and the staff is so friendly and helpful. My medication is always on time. The food is very good with a great selection. Highly recommend! My mother has been at Sunrise for over 3 years, progressing from somewhat independent living and enjoying the many activities Sunrise has to offer, to late stage dementia needing assistance with all aspects of her day. The Sunrise team has kept me informed, made sound recommendations, and allowed my mother to transition to higher levels of care without disruption and with dignity. This was my first experience with assisted living and the Sunrise staff have far exceeded expectations. I’ve been impressed with the personal caring and low staff turnover. I’m so pleased that we chose Sunrise for her home.

Sunrise continues to delight and surprise and confirm my decision to live here. For example, -Sunday Champagne Brunch with piano player, equal to a 4 star hotel; -Lead Valerie requesting a carpet massage clean for my room, which Joseph performed; the last place I lived in would only do so on a move in or out; -Use of hydration carts once we hit 90'; and -continual show of support for resident's concern. My parents are currently living at Sunrise at River Road. Here is thier expirence: About a year ago and a half ago I started looking for a place to move into. My wife's Alzheimer was progressing, I went to Phoenix several times and looked in at 7 places. I got tired and started looking in Tucson, a manager of an assisted living facility that had no Alzheimer's suggested sunrise at River, she was right. I took a tour that day and bought my wife a next day. She was happy and impressed. No buy in required, no one using your money. We have been living here since December 2021 and in this time have gotten to like it even more. The very nice caregivers and the management are more like friends than bosses and employees.We made some nice friends and you couldn't have more activities to choose from. They are the most loving, caring, kind, compassionate people. I often feel guilty for traveling, enjoying my life, instead of staying in Tucson close to my Mother. It gives me great peace of heart knowing shes being taken care of by people who love her almost as much as I do. Sunrise is *wonderful*. I cant imagine a more caring and loving group of people, and I highly recommend their facility. Their services are excellent, but whats *really* important, is the kindness and love they show to the residents.

Sunrise staff are exceptional. Facility is very nice as well. My mother was scheduled to move in but passed away just before moving in. The staff were so helpful in getting apartment ready to move in and then when we could not move her in, they refunded my deposit and funds. This was nice since they had really gone out of their way to move her into assisted living. They arranged movers, hung pictures, and fixed any apartment issues. Very helpful and understanding.

This is amazing place! My father is in memory care at Sunrise. During the Covid pandemic they have worked hard not only to keep the residents safe but also understand the importance of supporting their mental and emotional health. They actively encourage FaceTime with family and friends, and when the virus is on a down trend, they allow socially distant, outdoor visits. The driving force is the director, the woman at the front desk always has a smile on her face and a kind word, and the health director is organized, I trust her and her staff to always get my dads medicine correct. Memory care looks like assisted living, with nice apartments and a caring staff. I cannot think of a better place for my father to be.

I have been very pleased with the care that has been provided by the management and staff. Especially under the circumstances since March of 2020. Management is hands on and on top of situations as they arise. The staff has been wonderful in their attitude and effort in caring for my family member. This has been a great relief of concern due to the circumstances that we are experiencing with COVID19.

My Mom as been a resident at Sunrise at River Road for two and half years now. My family and I feel very relieved to have her at such a great community. Everyone who works there is involved with the resident and the family. They go out of there way to assist you in any way needed to make your loved one and you as the family member comfortable and secure. I do not have to worry about my Mom which is such a comfort. I know she is loved and her needs are being met. They communicate well about the how my Mom is doing. I know I can call at anytime and get an update. My Mom always tells me that she has many good friends and that everyone takes such good care of her. The food at Sunrise is amazing! The residents rooms are very nice as well as the activity and outdoor areas. Sunrise is my Moms home and our family have been warmly welcomed into the community. I highly recommend Sunrise at River Road.

Sunrise at River Road is an elegant and organized senior living experience -- a place where everybody knows your name! In a normal world, choose from a large cafeteria of activities. Allow me to mention a few of the constants: The caregivers are truly caring. The chef-prepared food is pretty tasty. Administrators are present and involved. This is a healthy and safe environment. For me, Sunrise at River Road is a great fit!

The team at Sunrise Senior Living performed a thorough assessment of my relative's condition, capabilities and needs prior to admission. The staff has done an excellent job of aligning services required, while not pushing costs and services that are not necessary. The on-boarding process was well-planned and performed by all of the different teams involved. Their personal style greatly helped with a potentially very stressful transition.

Sunrise at River Rd is an upscale Assisted Living and Memory care facility. It is well ran and very beautiful inside. Parking can be a problem during busy hours. The staff is hard working and will offer good care to your loved one. A bit more expensive than other assisted living facilitys. The food is good. Please indicate if you find this helpful, thank you.
